This building sings of a time when jazz was played and recorded by the greats. Today, it is completely open inside and the brick exterior brings charm to events and the new winter farmers market. It is also a great place to do some family photos or senior pictures.

Clean, safe, and nice! My 4 kids and I had a picnic at the picnic tables and there were plenty of trash cans so we could clean up our mess! We never knew how peaceful it is! 10/10 going again. *also fun for Pokemon GO

Nice, quiet place. This nice little historical site is marked by info plaques and some artistic works, highlighting some of the most well-known artists who recorded at Gennett. Whats left of the building can now be used for events. Theres also a quiet, paved trail nearby that crosses the creek and follows along the road above.

A unique event space converted from the remains of the famous Starr-Gennett recording studios. The inside of this venue is rustic and primitive, but with minimal amenities added to provide a viable event space without sacrificing the atmosphere of historical significance.

Beautiful park with historical landmarks and rich history of early record recordings of famous artists that travelled up the river. Paved walking trail along the river about 1.7 miles long. Saw an eagle last January.

My family and friends attended the free concert that was held here over the weekend and it was awesome the Sean Lamb band played they had a projector setup that was playing old photos and video of richmond and its deep history. The building here are very old and the medallions that are embedded in the walk are amazing to see.

We stumbled upon this while driving from Illinois to Ohio. What an unexpected and exciting find! For piano and music lovers alike, this one of a kind tribute was a quaint step back into yesteryear. I hope the city does more with this park in the future-music venues, piano shows...next time I am in the area, I will stop by again. Thanks for the adventure.
