Great place to go Hike, sunbath and play in the river. Sometimes just have to be careful for the idiots that leave trash around, especially broken glass in the water. Great views and nature.

Good parking at this trail head. There are often hikers, bikers, and tons of wildlife. Have never had a negative experience.

Starting on the south side, crossing the Nickel Bridge you will find the trail head on the left before the toll booths. Nice flat course with switchback and some ups n downs that parallels the river, Maymount, Hollywood cemetery, and terminates underneath Lee bridge. You can cross the river on one pedestrian bridge and make a loop to other if you know how (use buttermilk). If you do you can put in nearly 10 MI round trip. Great workout.

Great olace to get away for a nice jog or to just find peace for a bit by the water. Where shoes if you get in the water. I cut my foot one time.
