Good trail with winding unending wooded trails inside. Safe as there are board and pillar number to call 911 if lost or for any other emergency. It seemed to be pretty much popular as there were lot of people even in deep inside the trail. I enjoyed it thoroughly and plan to go again soon. There is a big creek dancing by its side as can be seen in my pictures.
About as nice of a park as can be found in Richardson. Expansions and further development appear to be underway, to the chagrin of the forest guard, who makes his/her displeasure known in Sharpie scribbles on park signs. Gets a little busier than I would like. Id like my nature to feature fewer humans than this park usually allows. If I time my visit right, going earlier than the masses, the park is very enjoyable for a walk. Paved trails are most common, with a few dirt paths to explore as well. A few spandex warriors treat the park like their own road bike speedway, which is ridiculous. The paved trails are not wide enough to race through on a bike. Those dorks need to go bother the drivers on the road. The parking lot is very small, fitting no more than 10 or 12 cars.Otherwise, nice park close to home!
Cannot say enough to glorify this place. Im a professional photographer and this place is a dream at sunset. Well kept trails with more arriving later this year. Very excited
Large nature area with many trails for walkers, runners, bike riders that are maintained in excellent shapeCut by a beautiful creek approximately 50 feet down. Many benches and picnic tables. All areas are marked with location numbers if a call to 911 is necessary.
This is a real good Park lot of trails its unbelievable you would never know that that is a park in the middle of a city its amazing
Great trail but Google has the wrong coordinates. The current Google maps location takes you to city hall instead of the nature trail. Google Mao Search “Foxboro Park”. Once you arrive at Foxboro park, park at the park in order to access the trail. The walking trail that starts at the Foxboro playground park will take you to the Nature area
It looks great, but I could not find any parking. I went in circles and didnt see a thing. I ended up going somewhere else - frustrating :(
Great area to ride your bike but, not on weekends. Too many walkers that do not know on what side to walk on a multi-use trail!
Great asset in East Plano. We spend a lot of time biking the trails and always enjoy it there.
Very nice place to check out, theres always a wild cat that lets me pet it, its more bigger than a normal cat but that doesnt matter.
Very peaceful place. Great to get away from all the noise.
I spent time with my son there on labor day 2020. We had nice time enjoying nature.
The place the is really great but, I went there after a thunderstorm previous day. The park truly showed how humans are destroying it. There was so many waste near the bridge, its like it has become a garbage pit. Please, guys dont destroy the area. Its really great for cycling and there so many different species to explore if you are a nature person.
Great place for biking and walking. Not too long round trip, but you do forget for a bit that you’re in the middle of a city. Very friendly people and nice views. The paved sidewalks make it fun even after a bit of rain. However, there are a few dirt trails that make for a fun adventure when it’s a bit drier.
A pleasant get away, good bike trail.
It was difficult to find parking meant for the park, but the concrete paths are nice and wide. Lots of little side dirt path trails to explore. Even though its hot, the shade from the trees and the light breeze making this a perfect little outing. Some of the creek beds have trash and debris :^/ but it seems like if the parks system offered trash bags and an incentive like a patch or park rewards sticker for returned trash from the trails - might make it attractive for hikers to try to clean up as they go!
Great place to hike on a nice paved trail. And if you know where to look you might find a few dead bodies buried deep inside ;)Its a fun place for the family or can be a fun spooky evening with friends
Beautiful area with plenty of different trails and markers to keep you on track!
Beautiful area...well maintained by city of Richardson.
Coming to US, nothing better could we ask for when it came to our regular morning walk, following trail and taking sunlight. Such a large green and natural area available so close by, it has become the biggest charm of staying in this locality. The place is well maintained with clean pathways, attractive wooden bridges, and water bodies. Rest rooms too are available. The track is marked every 1/4 mile. Passing the bridge from below to cross over to the other side of road, it provides a long walking path. We have had the fortune of coming across Armadillo, Skunks, Squirrels and rabbits. Nice place.
Great spring creek trail, but difficult to find a parking place to get to this trail.
Probably one of the best nature trail parks in the Dallas area. And it has restrooms, something most dont have. Plenty of shade, and paved trail of about 2+ miles.
Good long trail area...wish they had water fountains
Peaceful place for running and jogging.
Love the walk in this beautiful park, nature noises completely block the street on most places, you forget youre in the middle of the city. Quiet, clean, safe, well marked. From 75 and Rener to Foxboro park is like 3 miles round trip.
The new nature trail is a great change of scene. Its a nice and easy path and not long at all. Different perspective from the paved sidewalks.
Great park with paved trails around the creek. Not many people except near by residents and company employees go there. I did not find parking area for this park.
Very pretty. Loved walking there with my family.
How nice to have this green space in our city. İt is heavily wooded, with paved trails. And its nice that every 100 yards there is a location code posted for 911 purposes.
Its a clean paved beautiful trail. One of my top favorite trials locally.
Gorgeous park with ample walking trails.
Beautiful n green paved walking n biking trail.we love this place
Cute little area to walk/jog while still being surrounded by the city
Awesome trails for hiking, biking, dog walking, etc. easy trails! Some trails off the main path gives you a few options! Love bringing my dog here
Great place for a walk and lots of shadow areas
Quiet, good place to walk, run, ride. Wide trails and perfect serene place to get away when you dont have much time
Furiosas favorite spot!!!
I love bringing my pup here and going for a walk. Wish that I didnt almost get run over by bikes constantly...itd be nice if there was a walking path separate from the bikers.
Fantastic place for biking, running or just strolling around with your dog. If biking, there are a couple different loops that you can lap around. A nice, clean and safe park thats not too crowded but not totally devoid of people either. Love being here.
Tree cover most of the trail.
Great place to walk and explore! Very natural feeling paths
One hour of healthy walking in woods...Love this place..
Nice but lots of trash.
Great place. A piece of nature right in the city
Nice quiet escape from the city, slight sewage smell.
Great place to get away and walk!
Pretty cool little nature area with a wide walking path. Nice and shaded from the sun as well.
Went there for a walk. Has shade for a nice portion of the trail. At first look, it just looks like a bunch of soccer fields, but the walking trail is towards the back. Nice place.
Scenic place to have a good jog. Lush green trials and jogging track.
Lovely local walking or biking trail. I live close by so going here is always a nice time for my roommate and I. The trail is not too difficult to complete, even twice.PROS: location, free, friendly people, great views, peacful.CONS: sometimes he trail has sections closed off that take forever to be opened up.
Always nice, no matter what time of the year. Only problem I see is like everywhere else to many apts.
Small but pleasant park around creek flowing through the middle. Concrete paths wander through the trees and join to bicycle routes outside the park.
I went on the one hour educational walk tour and learned so much about the wetlands. The park ranger did an excellent job informing all that has been done to make this such an amazing place to visit. The trails are well paved and I was able to do a lot of nature photography. I wish that everyone would stop by here and support the growth and future of this park. It is truly a great place
Very nice, BEAUTIFUL park BUT has terrible parking options and only 1 restroom that’s about a million miles away. They’ve spent a fortune on a giant entrance monument that appears to serve no function. But hey, don’t worry, I’ll come back!!! It’s worth the hassle!!
Wow! This place is gorgeous. The trails are clean and big. Everything is clearly marked so you don’t get lost. I love it
Good clean place. Needs water fountains
Nice area to go for a walk.
This preserve features wide multi-use trails winding through acres of swampy woodland. Great for walkers, skaters, and bikers. It connects to other trails in the Richardson park system but parking is limited to a small lot at Renner Rd. Some of the bridges are very slippery in wet weather.I have one bobcat (with kitten) sighting so far. Also plenty of birds, rabbits, and squirrels. Dog walkers, beware of poison ivy and burrs--theres a good two or three feet of trimmed foliage on either side of the sidewalks but past that it may as well be the Amazon.
Did a morning hike here, had a blast. Sick views. Check it out.
Jogging with wife.. Amazing
Peaceful trails and perfect to see fall colors.
Great trails for walking or biking and scenic views of Spring Creek along allot of the route. In case of emergencies there is a restroom on the southbound side of Plano Road between Lookout and Renner. When youre on the trail and nature calls you want to know exactly how far away relief is. Especially for the ladies.
Such amazing nature area with paved trails and fauna right. It’s amazing how this place can be a perfect spot for picnic, family time in beautiful trails, as well as some alone time. Also surprising to me is the fact that how it is juxtaposed right along a busy road and active city living but once you enter it, you feel you are so away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Spent many days and evenings here between or after classes at the college across the street. Loved coming here because it was always peaceful and never overly crowded. Nice nature trails and a well looked after pond/lake. Bathrooms are as well kept as they can be for a park so, not to bad. Definelty love coming here.
Awesome trails and good place for walkers and joggers.
This is a great place for a nature walk.
Fun place to walk around saw lots and lots of butterflies and birds
So Serene n peaceful....even from my vehichle.
The trail is small but well-maintained. Its generally not very crowded, so its good for a quiet and relaxing walk or bike ride through.
Beautiful but no parking near and building construction on 2 sides of where I was. A little creepy too. They need police officers there imho because very closed in even though there are 911 signs all along trail. Needs clean up in creek too. I was with my dog but wont go back by myself.
Nice paved forested park to take your dogs on a walk. But in need of repairs to the paved path--whenever it rains, big pools form that are messy to get across. Bear in mind this isnt really a nature hike, it is more of a pretty paved walk.
Made the best smoke Cajun turkey in this park
This place is PERFECT for bike rides and good, refreshing nature walks! Only real gripe is having to park in what can be a super crowded Lookout Park. Other than that, bring a ball and a bottle of water, youll enjoy yourself!
Nicely laid out paths which are mostly concrete. Should have map on phone to help guide bc there are few signs especially if you are not familiar with area. The sidetrails are very wet after rains.
Fun trails for biking. Currently under construction but plenty of concrete to run, walk, or bike. Paths are kept clean and looks pretty safe even for late evening activity.
Nice quiet area on the middle of town
Love this place. Nice if you want a nice run or walk.
Excellent trails scenery and jungle gym for kiddos!
We had a great walk among nature in Spring Creek Nature Area.
This place has got kids play area nearly surrounded by trees to protect from sun. Probably more than a mile concrete paved trails with several bridges over beautiful streams. Trails good for biking, walking. Keep your cell phone and water bottle and maybe some snacks as the finishing the trails could take a while. Trails completely surrounded by trees to protect from blazing Texas sun.Enjoy ur time here. Beautiful nature preserve.
Great natural area in Richardson
Really cool place! We love it
Awesome park and trails, perfect for walking. jogging or cycling. Nice creek views highly rec!
Here is good place for walk.
We enjoy walking and riding bikes here
It is a nice private natural area, it has a weird setup for the parking area.
Nice park with sitting areas and a couple nice loops.
Best nature
Great walking and biking trail
No parking. Pictures make it look bigger than it is
Located just off the highway and it still is really quiet. Lot of shade along the trail and a nice creek all along. Get your bike, just run or come along with your furry friend.
Food was GREAT.They have the best queso. Will be back real soon.
