This was a great place for my 1yr old niece to have a party. it had alot of room for her & our family to Rome around, I would definitely recommend this place for any event.

I have always have liked heights park since the early 70s. Very crowded on weekends. We used to go down to the creek when I was young to look for fossils and play in the rocket

Heights Park has a very nice shaded, grassy area that is perfect for social distancing with groups of friends with lawn chairs.

I love Heights Park and rec center. Nice playground area, walking trail, tennis courts and the swim area has a fun little kid area and bigger pool for bigger people. Richardson did a nice job on the rec center remodel.

Beautiful park, I love running there since its well maintained. It has 2 tennis courts, 2 baseball fields, soccer fields, and a playground. There are two parking lots on the oppoiste side of each other.

Great park. Awesome walking trail, lightning bugs at night in the northeast little slope area. Soccer, tennis, softball fields here. Never had a problem practicing throwing golf discs in the wide open areas (no disc golf course). Lots of space. Picnic tables under trees. Well kept park. One of my favorite parks in the Richardson/Plano/Garland area.

A city owned park behind the Heights Recreation center in Richardson. Its a nice park for a stroll or to just sit and enjoy a day outside.

A good rec center but if youre looking to book space, Id recommend the space at Huffines instead. Its cheap to rent but the support staff isnt helpful or friendly. Didnt have a good experience with their team.

For a family friendly place Im surprised there are no changing tables available.

The aquatic center is really nice for a municipal pool. Great for whole family. Kids loved the white slide but said green one was slow.

This park has a fantastic atmosphere. It is actually preserved extremely well. There are actually restrooms, area to perform soccer and a baseball diamond. This is certainly among the list of most effective parks in the location.

Whats there not to like about this park. Its great for all different needs. Nice walk around sidewalk, great spot for people playing sports and a good playground. Ive always seen lots of people there and its a great spot if you play Pokemon Go as well. No one bothers you so you can exercise as well as take your pets there also. Nice picnic area also.....maybe could have a little more covered space with tables but other then that great spot for all you fun family needs. plus rec center is close by offering lots of stuff to do.

Wonderful for familys with kids of all ages. Not to expensive like other places. Very clean and friendly staff and lots of life guards everywhere!

Great place! My boy loves all aspects of the pool and likes going everywhere. For 2.5 years old, he didn’t want to leave!

Great new facility for the city of Richardson! The workout area offers many types of equipment. Heights also offers an exciting pool with slides, a lap pool,small kids pool and a river!

My family loves Heights Park! It is a great place to visit, lots of fun and very unique compared to other parks. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Great facilities! The rec center has everything a person needs for a good workout, including machines, treadmills, ellipticals stationary bikes, free weights, sauna, nice shower areas, etc, etc, etc. Great outdoor pool and slides... VERY reasonable prices!! Nice folks!!

A great play structure, and a large field area for lots of park fun. Be aware that there is a creek that goes through the park and kids can go explore - it’s fine if you know about it, but worrisome if you don’t!

Very nice, large park in Richardson. Large play area for kids with big slides. A couple of covered picnic tables are available. They also have soccer fields.

Lots to do for all ages. Love how the original rocket is repurposed and honored. Richardson is not old as such, but its never too early to preserve history while keeping up to date.

This park is unique and has lots of stuff to do for kids.

Great park, there is a creek behind the park for any small explorers, but between the few homeless people and the wild animals, may not be safe for kids

Very clean and well maintained park. A concrete walking trail circles the entire park. There is a Pavillion for parties, reunions, etc, and childrens playground. Ample space is available for soccer and other outdoor sports including tennis courts. For the Pokémon Go enthusiast, there are plenty of gyms to battle and pokéstops to stock up on supplies. For the nature lover, there are a variety of birds, squirrels, rabbits, and if youre lucky, you may spot the coyote that shelters in the creek that borders the park. If you prefer fitness in air conditioned comfort, Heights Recreation Center is accessible via the picturesque wooden bridge across the creek where, for a small fee you can access cardio machines, weights, basketball courts, and more. And, you can beat the summer time heat at the Heights Aquatic Center, (seasonal). Heights Park is my favorite park in Richardson!

Great playgrounds, plenty of shade, and good trails in the woods thatre ideal for getting to the creek for creek-walking & rock-skipping.

Sandbox is fun for smaller ones and its always clean. Plenty of shade and seating.

One of my daughters favorite parks. A creek and a play place along with large soccer and baseball fields. Also great for Pokemon go with 4 pokestops and 5 gyms.

Beautiful park with an awesome and very large playground, as well as a basketball court, grilling and picnic area, baseball diamond or soccer field area, great parking, and riverfront. Although the creek is very close to the playground so keep a close eye on the younger kids.

Our daughter loved playing on the jungle gym, and with how many people were there you can tell its a popular place. Lots of activities for kids

Pretty park, nice playground. I recommend walking through the forest, west of the playground.

The pool was a little crowded today with all the other pools that are already closed. We still had no problem finding loungers.

Rhe play structures are old but the surrounding trees and river are nice

Hidden creek area is pretty cool!

Just celebrated our daughters 5th birthday here with a piñata and friends. This was a great alternative to spending a bunch of money at another venue. We all had a great time.

Had such fun despite the cold, playing with my little nieces. Equipment was well maintained. And there was enough variety to keep them busy for hours

Really chill park with fun stuff for anyone!

The recreation center has a new swimming pool and Water Park area along with the recreation building is new and offers a variety of classes and workout equipment. The Park area has a pavilion for parties and the playground area has updated equipment. They have tennis courts and a walking trail it even has a fenced-in area for dogs to run free. Overall great place to spend a few hours or all day.

Awesome place. So much to do. Baseball/soccer fields, tennis, huge kids area. Small grills near each picnic table. A walking trail that circles the area. Even has a small stream down in the back. The kids love to go hiking down there. The water is crystal clear in the summer. I do and will continue to come here regularly.P.S. Yes theres a public restroom.

I love taking my little one on walks to this park. Its a quiet, safe neighborhood. There are winding pathways, playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, soccer fields and baseball diamonds... Located right next to the Aquatic Center.

Its a really neat water park in the city. The kids love the huge bucket that pours water over their heads.
