Huge park with nice grass and with surrounding forest areas for a camping experience. Day use only even though lots of people stay past 11pm and camp anyways. Few huge pavilions as well for large groups. They have fire pits and grills. Whole place is epic for hammock spots.

Nestled up in Provo Canyon, this little park is an excellent get away. There are excellent walking paths and great dining areas. There is a very nice little stream that runs through the park. A good amount of parking available for family gatherings as well.

My group of work buddies and I go up every thursday, its always nicely mowed and well kept. People are very respectful and keep it pretty clean. Its definitly large enough for multiple events and just going to throw a Frisbee or just throw up a hammock.

I love the location and and amenities if this park. There are lots of spots to have a fire or set up a picnic. Many if the paths and spots could use maintenance though. Especially the bridge could use some work to even out the ground.

South fork park is a fantastic place to take the family. The water is shallow enough for my 2 year old to not over worry about them falling. Lots of ground to cover, hiking trails, a big tunnel you could slide down. Lots of dogs at the park and children. There is a public restroom. Not far from the highway. The only complaint is from mother nature, end of July and the water was freeeezing.

Ja

So fun!!! We go here all the time for campfires- since there is running water near almost all of the fire pits, it’s legal to have fires here during the dry season.

Beautiful party with a great blend of open grass spaces and shades areas with trees. A stream runs through the park that is rather shallow providing an excellent place for children to play (and adults too ) and spend hours in the water. There are also several good larger pavilions with built in grills.Bridges across the stream lead to more secluded spots with fire pits for roasting marshmallows.

Great park, however parking is limited and restroom facilities cannot accommodate summer weekend crowds. (There are porta potties that seemed to be cleaned regularly.) Shade is limited, but there are trees lining the creek which is shallow enough for young children to wade into. Bring camp chairs and picnic blankets as there are very limited tables. There is a covered picnic area with tables, but everytime we have been there is has been reserved. If you are looking for someplace quiet or secluded, keep driving.

Mi
Review №89

The whole place just has a nice relaxed feel to it. Theres a big field for whatever use you can find, but I think the main attraction is the river. Theres a stretch thats very shallow and its great for little kids, and the other parts that are a bit more rough are fun for adults to walk down. There is a large covered pavilion and a smaller one, with several other freestanding tables close to fire pits. There are also restrooms with flushing toilets. On a super busy holiday its sometimes hard to find parking, but on most days theres plenty of space.
