There is some great climbing here. The routes vary in difficulty from high beginner to advanced. The approach is a slog, its about 30 min to the wall. Its almost worth it to just come for the view. The walls are South and West facing and they get hot. Id recommend climbing the in early spring and late fall. The trailhead is off of piute drive. From there hike or drive up the dirt road for about 0.1 miles and then head up the deer trail up the mountain.

Solid limestone climbing crag with a 25-30 minute, steep approach. Has one wall that faces south and another that faces west. The area is generally about 5-10 degrees warmer than the valley, even without sun. With the sun, especially direct sunlight, it can be up to 20 or even 30 degrees warmer: theres something about the thermodynamics of the structure in the area that I think causes the solar heat to just circulate around and around up there. Best winter crag around, but only an early morning summer crag. Has just about 1 of every climbing grade, from 5.6-5.13d. Something for just about everyone. Mostly vertical climbing with a couple roofs. The harder grades are steeper.
