We took the Christmas boat ride. Our guide was very friendly. It was fun seeing all the lights strung across the river and decorated on the edge. Santa rowed up in a canoe to surprise us and give a treat. Fun to do a different kind of light tour. They also offer Halloween boat ride, ropes courses, team building and group events.
I have to agree with the other negative reviewers here. This was not at all worth the money. We also immediately found it ironic that we were told masks were required (which i appreciate), only to see that no one on the staff was adhering to these safety measures themselves. There is no way the ride is 20- 25 minutes on the river. The most disappointing thing to me is that this idea has a lot of potential but in the end it left us all looking at each other like thats it?. Based on the owners feedback from other commentators they seem little-interested in changing or improving their set up. Which is fine, but we would not recommend this experience to others as it stands today...
Came here with our family and rented the whole boat. It was so cute especially for the younger ones. The pirate was funny and entertaining. The staff was very friendly and kind. We thought it was a cute little place for a family group.
This was incredibly fun. It was so nice to do something outdoors. It is very rewarding to push yourself to do something daring and adventurous. They have zipline tours, and a five pole Adventure Course high above the ground. Also you will find canoes, a climbing wall, team building activities and many other things to try. The owners and facilitators are great people. Please support this family owned business. They have taken a huge hit because of Covid-19. Everybody go!
I have gone to this place many times. The person in charge of my group must had an off day when I went last because usually they are very nice. The giant swing is very fun, and the zipline is cool too. It hasnt changed since I was a kid. The canoeing is the best.
We rented the whole boat in light of COVID-19 precautions and were told guests must wear a mask. The boat operator/owner did NOT wear a mask on our cruise and told a story a few feet away from my friend, making us a little uncomfortable. I dont want to get called out for exaggerating by the owner (as I see he has responded to many negative reviews) but the boat ride seemed to last about 15-20 minutes and we went up and down the river for maybe 100-200 yards? The boat operator talked the entire time we were on the cruise. I was hoping to be able to converse with my kids and friends to enjoy the experience together. The decorations consisted of some carved pumpkins on the bank of the river (hard to see) and a few blow-up Halloween balloons (from Home Depot, etc.). It was too expensive for the service provided and underwhelming.
We have been two years in a row for their Halloween river tour! Awkward but funny guides took us on a quick (15 minute) gentle boat ride, for about $10 per person. Its fun and perfect for kids!
Great location. Really fun if you get a fun guide for the pirate tour. Float lasts about 20 minutes.
We had never been before and this place is awesome we had Katelyn as our guide! She is the bomb! We had so much fun and were challenged with the activities we did. Great place for business events and families!
Best ropes course we have ever been to! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great setting, and so much to do! Amazing place for families to learn and grow together while having an absolute blast. We even saw an owl when we visited. This place is the real deal. My family and I will be back soon, very soon.
This place was amazing! So much to do and such great facilities. Decent prices too.
REALLY fun! Tested our physical and mental strength and pushed us out of our comfort zones. It was a great family strengthening activity. Jordan and Maddie made it SO fun!
My husband and I had a great time on the white water rafting trip! Our guide, Ty, was friendly and skilled, and made our experience lots of fun with his stories. Our trip included the river side dinner, which was a pulled pork sandwich and some fries from the restaurant at the resort. The food was ok, but lukewarm, and dinner was standing up or sitting on the raft. Maybe a table at the dinner pull out spot would help. Otherwise, our rating would be a strong 5.Were planning to bring our family back for the river run and maybe the zipline!
Rented the Surrey Bike. It was great fun for the entire family. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We plan to do much more with this organization. Thanks for all your help. Kent
I went here with a school club. These guys have some awesome ropes courses. They also have a fun zipline, and a really fun large swing. 10/10, I will be back here again.
My kids had so much fun in the 2 day camp. They couldnt stop talking about the zip line tour, canoe ride, and the games. This is a great option for kids summer 2020!
Definitely do not do the Christmas Cruise unless you like going 100 yards slowly down the river and looking at dimly lit wooden cutouts and then turning around.Definitely DO come in the spring, summer, and fall to rent canoes, paddle to your heart’s content and do the ropes courses. So fun and engaging. My family and friends have loved these activities for years.Friendly service and good prices.
Jordan and James were so patient and flexible with kids as we went through the course! Everything was clearly and safely laid out, and the zip line was beautiful and interesting. Thanks so much for an enjoyable evening!
Awesome ropes course. I loved the staff, very engaging and professional.
Beautiful ropes course. So much fun to do with family and friends at an affordable group price!
Awesome place and people had a fun YSA activity there very fun, professional, and safe.
Halloween haunted cruise was fun and inexpensive.
Love the owners. Love the course! Kids really love this place. Family friendly and great for groups.
Fantastic experience with great guides.
We did the Halloween River Cruise (what we thought would be a cool experience). I would say this is definitely not worth the time or the money it costs to go on this. It is literally just 15 minutes of looking at subpar pumpkin carvings while a pirate tells a story. This experience could be highly enhanced by adding a few spooks and so on. I would highly recommend doing yourself a favor and finding something much more worth your money. My consumer rating C-Update:The owner clearly cannot take constructive feedback. Clearly another reason to stay away from this place. I was not suggesting a spook alley as he assumed, but simply some very light spooks to make the experience worth the money you spend...
We went here for a team building activity for work. Most of the courses are pretty cool, but some of the activities are just boring. The guide will have you stand on a log for 15 minutes and then youll all stand in a circle while discussing what life lessons you learned from standing on a log for 15 minutes.Spoiler alert: There were no life lessons learned. We were standing on a log.If you can go just for the more exciting courses and avoid standing on logs and then discussing standing on logs then this is a super cool place to go.
Wonderful staff, super fun course!
Decided to update my review based on the owners unprofessional response to me and others that gave them a low rating. Granted, my original review Way too many bugs and mosquitoes was not helpful, nor is it something they can control. So I do apologize for my original comments. While the owners response was unprofessional, I must applaud them for the funny/clever response. That being said, Ill elaborate further on my experience at CLAS Ropes Course and Canoe Rental:EXPERIENCE: I came here for a summer work party/activity. We paid for adults and children so we could all experience the ropes course and other activities they have to offer. Upon arriving we quickly learned that the main adult ropes course (Adventure Park) was closed. This is why we came here in the first place was to experience the main ropes course... All they ended up having available to us was a small zip line for kids, swing, rock climbing wall, and another one where you jump off to grab onto a ring. What we paid was also supposed to include some kind of boat thing on the river, which was also closed. So essentially we paid for multiple adults for no reason as the main ropes course was closed off. Most of us just stood around watching the kids as we were unable to experience the adventure park or anything on the river. I will admit that the kids did have fun on the zip-line, swing, rock wall, etc. which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.STAFF: While we were there, there was minimal staff working there, and to be perfectly honest I didnt see one adult that worked there. Maybe they were in the back somewhere, but I didnt see one adult staff. Each person working there had to only be 12 years old, with one person maybe at the age of 15. Trained or not, hopefully youre good with the safety of yourself and/or children at the hands of a 12 year old.EQUIPMENT: Some of the equipment there seemed old and needs to be replaced. While Im sure its all inspected, they should definitely make some updates like the rock wall that had peeling paint/wood.BUGS: While I do enjoy the outdoors and expect there to be bugs and mosquitoes, there were a LOT of mosquitoes here. Im sure its due to them being so close to the lake and having standing water nearby, but at least they should recommend bug spray on their website or to people coming to their location. My family sprayed bug spray all over and we still got bites all over our backs, and other areas. You could barely stand/walk around without having to swat mosquitoes out of your face and eyes every two seconds. Again, I understand its not their fault, but if you do go here, bring lots of bug spray.
Fun activities for family and church groups
We took our Activity Days for an activity here this past summer and I couldnt recommend this place at all. Our instructor, Maddi, was so unprofessional. She was very grumpy and short with the kids. We did write to the owner and manager to try and resolve this but they were so arrogant and unprofessional. If you look at the owners response to others feedback, you can see the same tone of arrogance and rudeness.
Super fun! Great activities to build confidence and unity for families or friends. Also makes a great group date.
Super cool experience
Really fun family activity. My kids loved it and so did we.
The Ropes course was an amazing family activity! Well definitely be back. Mckayla helped us feel safe and was great with our kids. Kids and adults all had a blast. Cost about the same as a trip to the movies and pizza but today we created some awesome memories.
I went to this ropes course on a field trip with students. Student council team building! The staff were fantastic! They were patient, totally engaged with the kids, and very professional in behavior and safety standards. We participated in a variety of activities, including Zipline, giant swing, suspended license balancing, and a variety of group exercises using a large loop of rope. Good prices, clean though natural wooded area (read: tidy but spiders), bathrooms, water, and vending available.
Thanks for the experience you guys were so sweet to my young men and young women group.. thank You!!
Great experience!!! We will definitely be back.
The activities here are fantastic, we enjoyed our stay, we did the zip line, float and electric bikes!! Look them up, there is so much more to do!!!
Clas ropes course is a really fun place for scouting activities and other adventures. There are many ways to have fun here. It is starting to age, and you can tell by the corrosion/wear and tear that all the equipment has. Still they are a fun place to go to.
Loved it!! Great experience for our youth AND our leaders. Friendly, patient, and kind staff! Very detailed instructions - all while making it fun for everyone. Thanks for the awesome challenges - we had a blast!!!Definitely worth checking out!!!
Super fun! Good family activity :)
Had a lot of fun on the couples retreat. When we booked the event it didnt specify the lunch options so we had to call ahead to order a vegetarian option, but I was very glad they were able to accommodate our dietary needs. Activities did not actually include the ropes course, which was a little disappointing, but was still fun. We would have appreciated more discussion on communication and relationships, but the activities were fun in and of themselves.
Always a great time!
We went there as a team building exercise for work. It was incredibly fun and the staff was great. It was fun to see people outside of their comfort zone and pushing themselves to do things they never thought they could. The staff did an awesome job of helping steer conversation and relating the challenges to our business and how that can improve our day to day operations. We had a great time together, lots of stories to tell and memories that will not soon be forgotten. Our team is stronger for being there. Thanks CLAS!
Very fun and wholesome
Such an awesome place! Super fun and a great place to bring your family or a date!
Love the zip line
We had about 150 teenage girls there for 6 hrs. They had a great time
Love this place! Has an awesome staff and was a lot of fun.
So me and my friends went and it was fun and exciting at first when we were trying the stuff out we were scared but the second we did it it was so much fun we wanted to go again
So fun, so many things to do and everyone is nice.
Our office had a lot of fun and took on some challenging tasks that unified us.
Came here for the Halloween river cruise. Website looks sketchy, but if you go there you are met with friendly staff. Good for families or friends. Tour was about 30 minutes. Lots of space to park on side of highway.
Such a fun time. The staff was great!
Energizing! Fastest way to build a team.
Very fun. We were there for the Halloween cruise. A bit pricey, but the kids really enjoyed it. Worthwhile.
Always a line of cars for the Halloween cruise so I anticipated a fairly good experience. The website stated it offered an experience of tales of ghostly things pirates looting the banks and stories. It was nothing of the sort. There was 1 attraction that surprised the riders something pulled by a rope out of the water 1 person acting as a pirate coming to the boat with mints for candy to be passed around and the driver or rope puller talked about just what the rope course was random conversations about herself and her being able to do the job but dont tell her boss when she slipped up a few dull jokes and the cruise was short cold slow float down the river with pumpkins lighting the bank. I do give 2 thumbs up for the pumpkin carvings there were 100 pumpkins in total and they spent time doing them well. Suggestion would be to make the experience a bit more haunting maybe characters in costume interacting while people watched the repeat short flicks on the big screen TV surprise scares around corners maybe even some games like bobbing for apples anything to help pass the time waiting ( we waited 1 1/2 hrs 30 min prior to our cruise time and an hour to actual getting on the boat) not impressed. They offered $1 off for entire group we had 3 and an infant 1 person got sick and had to leave. They gave us their portion $ back which was very kind but deducting the $1 off so a group of 2 or less Im assuming is not reliable for the coupon. They have a Christmas event as well I was hoping this first and maybe last trip to be more fulfilling so that my whole family could plan an evening for dinner, then Christmas cruise for a nice easy family get together avoiding crowds but I honestly feel waiting in line for Santa at the mall would be more enjoyable. I apologize if this offends the rope course staff but criticism is offered in good intention for bettering future experiences of your customers. Perhaps a 2nd chance from myself and invited family.
Great place, really well trained staff.
We participated in a Moonlight canoeing trip for a childs birthday date. We all enjoyed! We saw multiple beavers in the river, including a beaver carrying a baby in its mouth that swam right by our canoe. An owl flew over us multiple times, we saw many ducks and a muskrat. We headed up and down river many times during the time.Definitely bring bug spray and a flash light/head lamp but leave the light off as long as you can safely can navigate the river to perverse your night vision. We didnt see the seat cushions until we were back and that would have made for a more comfortable ride. Also, water bottles would be a good idea for while on the river. There was water and Gatorade at the end with smores. My child said this was their best every birthday date activity. We will come back for another Moonlight Canoe trip.
The river ride was great, my family had a fun time. Give captain blond beard a raise. Hes awesome.
We were here at Christmas time for the lighted boat ride. Fun activity for the family. I would love to come back and do the ropes course in the summer.
Maddie was the best!
We went canoeing twice! It was so beautiful. There are so many wild ducks, fish, and insects. My husband hated the spiders, but I thought they were awrsoaw!!!!
It was really fun and the scenery was beautiful! The downsides were that it was very unclear of where to go. There were only two staff members and while they were very nice, they didnt know how to work the computer system, didnt know much history about the place (people in my party were interested), and seemed a little scattered. Im not sure who owns the land, but if they do, I would clean up the trees and some of the debris in the river just to make it neater. They didnt know where the seat pads were for the person who was going to sit in the middle, so had to use a life jacket. They just need to be more organized, but it was a fun experience.
The course is thrilling and safe. The restrooms are tidy and welcoming. They have plenty of clean water. The staff is fun and help to make the experience memorable. A great place for large youth groups.
Very pleasant Christmas Cruise. If it is rainy or snowy make sure to bring blankets and ponchos, the seats might be wet and the boat does not have a roof. It makes for a fun family activity. The ride last 15 minutes, and is very unique way to enjoy some Christmas lights. We will definitely go again next year!
We love love love their halloween cruise! We even took Grandma this year and she loved it too!
Great place to bring a group. Employees were awesome. They have all kinds of activities and rent boats to paddle up the river
Im not sure who made all of the short reviews Greatest place on earth!!!, but its probably someone who owns the business or a relative. We went on the Halloween Cruise 2011. Luckily our tickets were only $4/person. Another group had paid $8/person. We saw some pumpkins. Unfortunately our Pirate captain didnt really tell many stories. He asked us where we were from (that was half the trip). He did tell one story, and we got some river soaked candy from a guy in a canoe. There is one surprise, but I would never go back for another river cruise. Our first hint that its not worth the money was a couple arguing with the owner about how they wanted their money back. They were mad they traveled a distance to pay $8 and see some carved pumpkins for a quick boat ride. Groupon makes it sound awesome, Id save my money for a corn maze or something else. BTW: From what friends have told me, the Christmas Cruise is almost the same thing, but Christmas lights and the Pirate is Santa Clause or an Elf or something.
Awesome place. My autistic child loved the large swing best!
We went for a youth group activity. We used the canoes large 20 man and 2-3 man. The boats were extremely nasty cobwebs and spiders everywhere. The waiting area was also really dirty. Was not very well cared for or cleaned. The workers were also not very nice. Very little instruction and no supervision which was fine for our group but still not the best for a business.
Weve been twice now, once for a couples retreat and once as a family group. Both times everyone was helpful and kind, and we had so much fun. The little kids (3-4) also had a great time.
Went there with a group, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely go back again.
Great venue. The owner, Ben, is incredibly accommodating. We love the canoes!
We had a blast zip lining. They make it super fun for the entire family! They were super kind! We came down from Salt Lake and got stuck on the free way because of an accident. They could had turned us away but instead they went out of their way to show us a great time! We have done the Halloween Cruises in the past and will be trying out more of what they have to offer! Great Company with great people!
The excersizes and ropes courses were super exciting and fun and we were prompted to find out ways to apply the team building and fear practices to our own lives so all in all it was a five star experience. We all want to go back again.
My husband and I came for my birthday and did the new zip line tour. We had a fantastic experience! We got a deal on ksl and our tour guides were so nice and fun! We booked a week or so in advance and were the only members of our tour, so we could go at our own pace with the two tour guides. We really enjoyed our experience and would recommend the zip tour to everyone!
Quite fun, exciting but simple enough to get the hang of
The river trip was someone pulling the boat along some rope for 100 yards or so and then back again. The advertisement, 25 minute river cruise was deceiving, in my opinion. Its a cute little ride if you live nearby, but I dont think its worth a trip from more than 20 minutes away.
Christmas cruise is fun
I thought the Ropes Course staff were very enthusiastic and kind. Our group not only had FUN unlike anything weve EVER DONE but we also learned how to become leader servants and function at our companies highest level as a team unit. I would recommend the Ropes Course to all corporate events. Call CLAS Ropes Course and they will explain more about what they can do for your group!
Fantastic expedience! I recommend it to anyone who wants to be fearless and discover more about themselves ans hpw they work in a team.
We did the zip tour. From the time we pulled in until we left we were treated very well by every employee we came across. I am afraid of heights and the guides were encouraging and kind. They were also great with my two teenaged girls. Awesome experience!
Awessome place to have fun! Awesome staff, and lots of things to do. Highly recommended this place.
Ive been here several times to rent canoes to use in the river and to take out to the lake. Ive always had a great time. Im not much for ropes course type activities, but they have yard games and fire pits for large gatherings.
Cool Halloween themed float down the Provo river, they also do a Christmas theme that sounds impressive. Family loved it
Boat rides start at 630, depending on the time of year around 615 is the best time to get there as it wont be quite as busy and it will still be dark when the ride starts. Things get very busy after 730 pm. Parking is along the street both directions.
Fantastic place and fantastic people that work here! You wont be disappointed!!
