Love love love this rec center. I moved to Springville a couple of years back but my family and I still come here frequently during the summers because of how fun their pools are. I am so happy they expanded the old Veterans pool to be in such a cool place. Also, there gym area is extremely well cared for with lots of varieties of machines. All in all an awesome place.

We have tried several rec centers in the county over the years and Provo is far superior. The workout facility and pool are modern and clean. We also have our 2 kids in the tumbling tots class and it is great! So organized and fun for my 2 and 4 year olds.

If Bette Midler wanted a free pass to the Provo Rec. Center, she could likely charm the socks off of the desk clerk and make her way over to the rock wall to show Alex Hanold a thing or two, if you know what I mean!? Come for the slides, stay for the sauna. Ooze into warmth and thrills with the flip of a switch, in Utah County!

Ive been here ever since it opened. My son has been in the junior life guard program for 5 years, since it begun. Swimming is always supreme and Ive never had any incidents in customer service. Life guards and staff are nice and might seem stern but are really just trying to do there job. Water slides are fun and I recommend this place to people of all ages

Fantastic facility: it has a gym, two fitness studios, a cycling studio, an indoor track, basketball courts, pickleball, tennis, an outdoor pool, a child watch area with a cool playground, and anl really fun indoor pool with waterslides, playgrounds, diving, rock walls, an obstacle course, a lazy river, and lap lanes. All of that for only $5 per person for a day pass (or memberships for much less than than per day). I highly recommend this facility for the whole family. Its great for working out, having fun, and enjoying being active.

I went for my first time a little while ago, and it was the most fun Ive had in a long time. I especially love their outdoor and indoor slides. I do kind of wish there was more slides, but hey, what theyve got is more than enough to keep entertained for hours on end.

A big facility with a lot of things to do. They have racquetball, pool, running, basketball, swimming, lifting, cycling, pickle ball, and much more. The diversity of the lifting equipment helps you workout whatever you want to. The equipment that is used often like bench press or the treadmill has multiple machines so there is less of a wait. The rec also offers workout classes to help you stay on track with your fitness goals, free of charge if you pay the entry fee.Buying a pass will save you a lot of money if you go frequently, but if you just want to try it out its only 5 dollars a person.

This is one of my favorite places in Provo, along with the Provo Library. I love the fitness classes--lots of choices and high-quality fitness instructors. The facilities are great. They try to keep it clean. Its a nice environment with like-minded people seeking to keep their bodies and minds healthy, while not being obsessive. Down to earth people here. My kids and I also love the indoor and outdoor swimming pools--water slides, lazy river, rock wall and cod to jump into the water from, water playground, wave pool. They have everything!

Nice rec center but the dummies in charge decided now was the time to take 3 weeks and finish the gym floors--just a perfect example of state funded operations that dont really think about the customers. They could have redone the floors months ago when COVID hit and no one was doing anything. They could also have waited bc the floors were just fine. But instead they decide NOW was the time to redo the floors when church gyms are closed and full court basketball is tough to coordinate given the COVID situation. People are just nicely getting back into a groove and they do this which was completely unnecessary. Frustrating but also not surprising in the slightest.

There is so much to do here. The pass is super worth it for all the things you can do with it. Without any discounts its $120 for 3 months. But there is a huge discount for just living in provo. You can go to the ice rink, the rec center and the golf course. Totally worth $40 a month. And its even cheaper if you sign a year contract.

And an affordable care with protein bars and normal pool side food: hotdogs, pretzels, burgers etc.The day pass is only $5 per adult and $4 per kid over the age of 4/5(?). The Provo Recreation Center has so many recreational activities for members as well as sports activities and lessons for all ages. We love coming to the indoor pool all year round. We also love their tumbling tots class they have every month for preschool kids from age 2-5. They have fun Science Paloozas, Halloween and New Years Eve Parties. They also have a wide range of fitness classes included in the membership fee. I grew up doing swim team at the old Provo Indoor Pool, took dance classes at the old Center, and went to the Veterans Memorial Outdoor Pool. I am very impressed with how the city of Provo was able to move everything to one place and build a large, state-of-the-art recreation center. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are kept very clean and safe, and if its too hot or cold outside, the indoor pool has 2 slides, a rock climbing wall, a diving platform, a lazy river, a water polo area, and a baby pool. The fitness center is incredible, and all of the machines are clean and well maintained. The classes are very fun, and there is always something to do here. But my favorite thing is the affordability. The Adult Student Pass is a must for college students, as there are MUCH more options at the Rec than there are at any of the workout facilities at BYU.

I went to watch my brothers basketball game, and the people that run it clearly are employees of the state. Referees wouldnt even try to make it to their positions by the time the play was over, missing call that couldve been made with minor effort (or a slight jog). When I moved to Utah, I was having a hard time figuring out where the best place to workout would be. There are some many chain and local gyms to choose from... but the best place truly is Provo Rec Center. They have so many amazing fitness classes- RIP, pump, Zumba, high fitness, and yoga! I love that they have some during all times of the day. They have a huge pool, basketball area, indoor water park, outdoor water park, tennis courts, and even a skate park! They also have an offsite fitness center located in the Peaks Ice Arena called The Fieldhouse. They have weight lifting classes, circuit training, and free floor availability. They have TRX bands, grass area, and lots of weightlifting equipment. At the downtown rec center, the only issue is parking during busy times of day- especially after work.
