A really great park if you have kids that need to be stimulated by climbing rocks and finding lizards and bugs. If you have kids who really like play structures and swings, then this place is a bit slim. Nothing really challenging and can get old quickly. You bring your kids here to play on the structure and swings for a few mins and the main course is having the kids climb the rocks and look for wildlife.

Beautiful little park buried in a neighborhood. From the benches under the covered seating you can see the bits of national forest trying to grow up and out.

Relaxingly quiet.. really nice place just lay on the grass or sit and have a picnic, or bring your children to laugh and play on the swing set.

Great place to play, the only park that does not have the gates locked

Large open grassy area for throwing a ball around with kids or dogs, a small basketball court with 2 hoops. There is a small playground with swings, slides, monkey bars, etc. Also are boulders just above the park that all ages climb up and explore, & a couple of picnic tables nearby the playground. ADA parking is available with sufficient space between the gates to enter the park with a wheelchair, walker, etc. I have been to this park many times with my grandkids & always find it clean & well kept. The only reason I am giving 4 stars & not 5, is because the ADA entrance is sand, & in my experience, does not work well for wheelchairs or walkers, which could potentially limit the parks use for some.

Great place to take the kids. The play ground is shaded in the morning. Becareful when playing in the field, there are a few divots that could cause a stumble.

On days when I need to be human, this a great venue for quality human interactions including dancing to highly upbeat music in a jovial motion, eating well-cooked meats over a rather an excitable fire, and muttering sweet nothings at a medium to high level. One days when I need to be a highly functional machine, I can read alone in the park here at a back-breaking speed (even though the act of reading in and of itself has an average speed of 0 miles-per-hour) and escape quite unperturbed.

This is one of Prescotts best parks. It has a single small-sized basketball court, a small baseball diamond, plenty of playground equipment geared toward younger kids, and a covered picnic area. There is a a rock and tree covered hillside that might entertain the older kids. Its also popular with folks who want to give their dog a quick run. Even with all of that, this is a small park and can occasionally be a little busy.

Not a bad park. Lots of things for kids to play on. Gets kinda crazy when you get 20 people and dogs wanting to play something at the same time. Then you have 5 birthday parties trying to happen also. Some days good some bad. Bathrooms were all locked. Had to go to Frys for a toilet.
