Beautiful spot, clean trail. Please make sure if you park in the lot to buy a $3 pass cash or card by the restrooms so that you avoid a fine.
This place is really cool and they have recently updated the parking lot and added really nice restrooms with running water. You now have to pay $3.00 to park, however it is totally worth it and your parking passes work at many other places around town. The trails here are FANTASTIC and are moderate. I recommend this trail to anyone.
Fun walking around the rocks.Trails go every which way, without anyway to know which is which. Might be a problem if you need to get back in a hurry
Great trail. Our 4 yr old was able to do entire perimeter trail along with our 2 dogs. And still was challenging enough for our two 14 yr olds.
Good trails, well posted signs, Must pay for parking.
I really loved this trail, mainly for all the rock formations that you get to move amongst. There are easy options and more strenuous options but its hard to know which are which. At times the trail is hard to follow but thats part of the fun! Parking is $3 and the parking lot is right off of 89.
I had an amazing time with my kids hiking this Trail, the weather was excellent and all the trail markings were well provided.
Beautiful moderate trail among gorgeous boulders. Add to that amazing views and you have a perfect hike.
Awesome trail network. Granite boulders and native trees.
Love this trail. Has an easy main loop and some more challenging offshoot paths! Beautiful and fun!
One of our favorite local places to hike! We try to get here 2 or 3 times a week. Great place for amateur bouldering with great views of Willow Lake from Big Rock
The Dells is an amazing hike with statue-like rock formations which we call the rock people!
Great trail system. Lots of choices for different hikes and skill levels.
My favorite hike in the area. Very cool scenery and easy-going trails. My pups just love it here. Clean trail, and probably 99 percent of dog walkers pick up their dogs waste, so that is a plus.
Great trail system, with some technical sections, hefty climbs, and some fun descents. The views at the top are amazing, well worth the trip, especially during sunset!
Nice open space with several trails to take on foot, bike or horseback.
Great opportunity to take a short or long hike, it would be pretty hard to get lost and the terrain is really fun, almost like very light bouldering. Facilities at the parking lot are great as well, and the fee is worth it, especially since its very cheap
The constellation trail, while pretty, is like a spider web of small trails that seem to make things more confusing than they should be, some of which take only 5 minutes or less to walk. This trail also suffers from the fact that nearly the whole time you are ear shot from the 89 highway and even visible from some of the higher points. This is a very mild hike, suitable for kids or small dogs if you want a quick walk. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the whoosh of cars on the neighboring road or just the nature of such a trail being so high traffic.
Great easy trail if you take the cut through trails its s little more challenging.
We took 3 adults and 9 kids (ages 6 weeks to 13 years) on the 3.5 mile loop. It was an adventure and we loved it ️
Great trails, not difficult. Great scenery.
Very versatile trail system. Many options for different levels of comfort. Rocky areas with some trees at the beginning/end.
Fantastic trail system for the casual hiker! You could cover all the trails in a single day, but why not take your time and save some for another day? Dont get lost in the rocks---follow the white dots
This is one of my favorite places to hike. Great for kids
Such a beautiful place with great trails, & some good bouldering, too. We cant wait to being our kids back!
Probably not one to make the trip for, but if its close to home, check it out. Its better than you expect from the parking lot
Awesome. Chihuahuas love it.Update: November 6th 2018The parking lot and roundabout is really good so you can get in and out of the Constellation Trails. Its better than it was. :)
Great hike.
Nice hike with different trails and beautiful views. They have benches if you want to stop. Parking is $3 and they have bathrooms. only bad thing is there are a lot of mosquitos.
Very quick hike round trip, great for workouts. Bikers like part of the trail but it does get really tough for them at times because of the terrain. Nice views, keep to the white dots that mark the trail, gets a bit confusing sometimes.
Not a very challenging hike but nice and quiet and perfect viewing of boulders and some wildlife.
Great place to view the stars! Great Trail too!
I had a couples photoshoot and I took them out here. The trails are really pretty and has lots of historic places to check out. Leads to rocks to hike but stayed in the greener, shady area for this shoot. Be prepared to climb rocks and bring lots of water, especially in the summer time. Make sure you bring some kind of bug spray, lots of mosquitoes through the beginning of the trail. Very historic place to check out!
Wonderful trail with amazing views of the valley and Granite Dells. Lots of choices on length of hiking trails.
Awesome place to hike
We tried to bike, but its better as a hiking trail. $3 to park. Bathroom at parking lot.
Beautiful place to hiking and explore the park and nature
Love this trail system, theres many short trails and a long one. Well marked trails
Beautiful vistas on an easy 3 mile loop.
Great trail for families with children. A series of trails that covers a some what small area. Great views and easily accessible that is a great way to escape to nature close to town.
Love this trail. There are so many options, with cross cuts so you can do the whole outer loop, and finish, or do all the cross cuts and make it even longer. Met a lot of nice people on the trail, everyone seems to care about the trail and we didnt see a lot of dog owners NOT cleaning up after their pets. Restrooms in the parking lot. $3 to park and they take cash or card.
Stunning and ranges from easily accessible to adventurous
Beautiful hike around scenic boulders. A memorial site of the Constellation plane crashis here too.
Very challenging mtb trails! Fun!
This is a really neat trail. The area is so beautiful with do much to take in. Very relaxing. Yall should try it.
Beautiful way to spend all or part of a day. Take plenty of water. Trails are anywhere from easy to semi-challenging.
Beautiful, well traveled and very public...dogs must be leashed due to high traffic
Beautiful trail, quite easy to follow, good for a warm up.
So much fun with many trails to explore. Great for adults and kids, just watch out for snakes during the summer months.
The trails here are awesome. Used to be free to the public. Now its expensive to park. City of Prescott fees. Be prepared to pay.
A great hike in the middle of Prescott! Beautiful boulders, views and elevation. Make sure to pay at the station!
My kids love hiking this area
Amazing zen trail.
Its just a beautiful place to hike and enjoy nature.
I love constellation trails! So much terrain to choose from in such a short distance. It’s beautiful too with the rocks in the background!
Great parking. Very serene.
Gorgeous trail! You can do the full loop at 3.5 miles or split it up into smaller versions! Easy to medium level hiking!
I love hiking this trail! Its so beautiful and relaxing.
Cool place. First time visit. Will be back. BIG bonus to read about the Constellation Trail. Been in aerospace 44 years. Worked on a few in my past. Bless those men who perished and all of our Veterans!
Great hike with lots of options to accommodate however long you have to enjoy the area.
I really loved this trail, Great for adults and kids, nice place for the whole family.
Great place for a hike. Trails are easily marked. Just right. Bring plenty of water. And camera.
Easy to navigate, options to explore, very magestic and amazing
Awesome easy trail
My favorite place to go for a short walk.
This is a nice trail with different paths to take throughout the beautiful boulders.
When I have an hour to hike, I head to the Constellation Trail. Some of the best views of the Granite Dells rock formations and a very well marked spider web of trails so you cant get lost and never get bored hiking in the area. Thanks to the City of Prescott and the Over the Hill Gang of volunteers, the trails are well maintained and there is a map at every intersection. The new traffic circle and parking lot are a nice addition. Remember to pick up after your dog!
Great hiking and views close to Prescott and easily accessible.
A great place to see and walk the teails
Beautiful to hike or bike. You won’t be disappointed.
Great trail
The trail markers arent the best. Didnt know the starting point had so many different directions, not having been here before. I had to use my All Trails app to get us back on track. We did however enjoy the scenery. We will be going back. Saw hikers on the way back down and they gave us recommendations on how to start and end hike. Maybe next time I could rate better.
I like to walk the dogs here. Its just enough challenge for me and for the dogs to feel like weve done something.
Great hiking area with boulders all around
This is s beautiful place to hike. Its an easy hike and even when there are a lot of cars in the parking lot it doesnt feel crowded.
Another beautiful group of trails in Prescott. There is something for everyone. The rocky vistas are spectacular, the mountain bike trails look like a blast, the climbing looks fun and the hiking was terrific. So glad this is here!
Great views. This is a climbing type of hike with trails that go up and down, and are sometimes steep or narrow. Be sure to bring lots of water.
Nice historical hike.
Great trial for beginners the views are wonderful.
A great place to hike and the beauty is awsome. If you go this time if year wear warm clothes and bring a
If you get to the peak and need a challenge go through the backside and come back
Beautiful hiking with trails for everyone
Lovely scenic hiking trails good for any ability.
This a great short trail. Medium difficulty depending on which trails you decide to take.
Excellent trail to see our amazing geography. Well marked and maintained. Not difficult, just spectacular.
Always beautiful. You have to pay now though :(
Great views on a less traveled trail...
Enjoyable trails offering a nice view of the area. Interesting rock formations.
Great Hope it walk Im some great trails. Pay attention to signs though.
Easy trails with good parking, great views and no fee.
Outer trail there is just over 3 miles long. Many inner trails that can make your hike shorter. Trails are in amongest the huge boulders like at the Dells.
I love this trail. Beautiful views and easy hike..cant go wrong!
Great 2.4 mile, lightly traveled trail
Well maintained
Pretty piñon, oak, juniper and pine woods surround granite boulders.
Beautiful Boulder formations. Great View. A roadrunner or two greeted us near start of trail.
