Prescott Park is a lovely place to visit. Spring through fall there are beautiful trees, foliage and fountains to capture your attention. It is a peaceful place to sketch or take a walk any time of day. If you like to take pictures this is a beautiful place to take still life photos or to gather for a family picture. The atmosphere and textures are phenomenal to work with.

The flower gardens are always well maintained and have so much variety. The Christmas lights in the winter are nice. I have been visiting since I was a kid. Great views of the bridges, fishing boats and maybe one day, the outside performances/plays will come back. Parking lot nearby, but, no guarantee of finding a spot. I remember seeing kids playing in the fountains, but, I dont think you will see that anymore:). Benches available for sitting. Bathrooms were in okay shape. You will see s and quite possibly brides having there photo taken. You can watch the boats or the bridge. Bring a book. How many b words can you find?If you visit Portsmouth, I recommend a visit.

Beautiful park! Many different areas to walk around. You can go out on the pier for views on the water, or walk around the pathways. I would say the main attraction is definitely the garden with the fountains and all kinds of beautiful flowers and trees. The only slight downside to the park is that parking seemed very limited - we had to drive around a couple of times until a spot opened up. But we also arent from the area and didnt know where other parking might be available.

Cute little park! Fun for a nice walk or place to chill if you’ve been exploring the town, and a cool view of the water and docks. Biggest downside is that no dogs are allowed- though it did seem a lot of locals didn’t take that too seriously. Scattered throughout the paths are small placards with interesting historical facts about the waterways and the town. Clearly Portsmouth has a rich history! There isn’t much in the way of parking, as it’s all street side parking on the roads leading up to the park, though if you’re there early in the day it isn’t too bad. All in all a cute, brief stop if you’re passing through.

Its the park that youre going to want to visit. On the Piscataqua river that is the boundary between New Hampshire and Maine. Perfect for a stroll anytime or catch a play during the summer. Working boats, pleasure crafts and ships are often passing by. Amazing gardens to explore.

What a fantastic day with my hubby. A beautiful stroll through all the gardens and the play going on was beauty and the beast-- FANTASTIC!!! We walked the memorial bridge and watched as the boats were traveling under, sat on a few benches and we had brunch at Colbys which again... fantastic, we had a fabulous waiter and it was a fantastic meal. What started as a quick trip took us for the day.. we loved it

Lovely park on the water open 24 hours. No parking; I parked on a side street. There are gorgeous multiple flower displays in season. Don’t miss the walled garden with three fountains by the street. Restrooms are in the brick building next to that (open May through October, the sign says). Lots of benches everywhere and small piers to walk out on, as well as historical plaques. Also an interesting small historic cemetery across Mechanic Street.

My wife and I came to Prescott Park for the Wood Brothers concert. It was part of the summer concert series. If youve ever seen the Wood Bros live I dont really need to say much, as they are always awesome. I was very impressed with the park and the concert series as a whole. They do a wonderful job putting this on. Very well organized. The concession stands have a great menu. You can get anything from Ice Cream (a wide variety of quality ice creams to select from) to Curry Fries, Tacos (Fish, Chicken and Tofu), Burgers, Fish n Chips, Funnel Cakes, Popcorn and Drinks, just to name a few. We reserved a table, which was well worth the money. Well be going back in a couple of days for Warren Haynes and more than likely will be getting a seasons pass for next summer. I cant say enough good things about the Prescott Park Arts Festival!

It is a wonderful spot with a few gardens and fountains. There used to be theaters on Friday and Saturday’s before COVID-19. It is nice view of Portsmouth bridges and overlooking the shipyard going into Maine. It is close to shops and strawberry banks. It is a bit scary at night and lighting is low. The parking is hard to find and most of it is metered.

Portsmouth is a fabulous place to visit in summer. It has many restaurants, breweries clothing boutiques, gift shops, and a book store. It is also is home to Strawberry Banke, a restored village steeped in the fishing villages history. In late July and August, this city has two large and beautiful gardens. They are in their full glory right now! With ample parking and a quiet family vibe, this place is perfect for shopping, dining an many evening strolls. Ample parking all around town makes Portsmouth very easy to visit!

Awesome spot and intimate setting, right on the water, for a great concert or show. Theres food and merchandise vendors. Obviously a little on the pricey side. The only 2 drawbacks were 1, no alcohol is allowed (they didnt check out soda cups though ) and 2 people are allowed to bring blankets and chairs hours before the show starts and it fills up quick. So be sure to get there early in the day to reserve a spot.

Always love going to the play over the summer. Wish I could get to more of the concerts, too. Parking in Portsmouth is basically a nightmare, but the play is worth it. The improvements theyve made to the facilities and snack/food building are a wonderful addition the last few years. Great shows!
