We had planned to go to Dave & Busters to celebrate my daughters 14th bday but found they were closed..a blessing in disguise..because we found Kingpin. They were able to get us in (a party of 5) to bowl for a couple hours and the arcade was open as well so my daughters and their friends had a blast. Only downfall was we had a unsupervised toddler who kept running into our and the people next to us bowling lane. The parents were in the arcade too busy apparently to notice and the people next to us picked up the boy and returned him to his parents a couple times at which point the parents tried picking a fight with the people returning their kid...a fight came very close to happening and the neglectful parents were asked to leave. Once gone..we commenced in having fun. The food from the grill looked amazing as well. It cost us $70 for 5 people, included shoes for 1 1/2 hours. Recommend this place..especially cause you arent going to find anything comparable open due to Covid 19. It is a rare place in this pandemic that brought us a much needed place to go have fun!!

So much fun! Super friendly! Good deals on lanes and gear rentals. Very clean and well kept equipment. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a bar area that you can escape from the younger crowd and bowl in the bar.

Had a great time with friends. The place was PACKED so if you dont like crowds or hundreds of screaming teens and pre-teens this is NOT the place for you. But if you want to have a great time bowling with some food and drinks then give this place a try. Lots of lanes, a private area for reserved parties, an arcade. Enjoy!

Some worker saw one of my group members wearing a mask below the nose and kicked us out. We had 30 minutes left. Also we were at the tap house part of the bowling and we were the only ones there. While we were leaving I saw couple of people with there mask below THEIR Mouth and they werent kicked out. Ive asked them if they have been talked about putting their mask above the noise and they have said No. If yall see this dont bring them any business in.

The Best place too enjoy fun with the entire family. The staff treats you like family and plus you want to meet new friends well this is the best place for that.

This place is cool. I love how you can take your kids bowling, to an arcade, and you still get your rose colored glasses.

I really enjoy bowling here. They also have an arcade and tap room which makes it a fun place to spend the day. It was expensive but the food was good, the drinks were good, and the lanes/games were clean and well maintained.

Its a fun place they have an arcade and bar and food, unfortunately because of covid theres no bowling atm, the employees are also super nice

Great family atmosphere that is packed with laughter, fun and excitement. Great lanes, great computer system and excellent customer service. Beer aint cheap but its good! Fries were great and warm and the pizza wasnt cardboard tasting which was nice!. Shoes are newer and the facility is pretty spotless. Server was attentive and courteous. Would bowl here again if in the area.

Great bowling and food with a great selection of draft beer. I had the chicken wrap with tasty fries and my wife has the veggie burger with tater tots. Super friendly staff and very clean. Highly recommend this place.

Great bowling lanes and arcade. They lack vegan options and it really is a shame. Plus our waitress and the cooks confirmed they fry their French fries and fish together. Rating would be higher if they had more options for veg peeps.

The experience here is authentic and everything is updated. Lanes are super slick, and there is a pro shop in case you need anything. They have 9-midnight cheap bowling as well with a reasonable cover. Love KingPins!

KingPins is the best! I meet with a friend here every week and we couldnt be more happy with them. They have a bar with a great selection of craft beers and fantastic bartenders. They also have a great selection of pub food. The food is affordable and tasty, and never takes very long, even when they are busy. KingPins has a lot of bowling lanes and never a very long wait even on busy evenings, especially compared to the few other bowling alleys on the east side of Portland. They also have a handful of video lottery machines if that strikes your fancy. Lastly you cant forget about the arcade which has an ever-changing selection of games for all. This is one of my neighborhood favorites!

Staff was attentive and thorough. Drinks were great, our food wasnt bad, lanes were fun. Definitely more than you would expect from a bowling alley.

This place was fine. Long waits and a bunch of kids in the bar section, which felt strange. Why have a adult area if there are kids in it? I also got unintelligibly yelled at while I was peeing by a dude. He was coming in to clean, but I could not understand him. I thought he was going to rattle my stall looking for a sick girlfriend or something?? Very off putting.

First time here! Nice atmosphere! This place had a Tap House Bar and Grill, and arcade. The music playing was pop music! And there were TVs showing different sport games that were on. I would recommend this place I felt very comfortable here.

Great bowling alley for both adults and families. A bit pricey but worth it. Loved the bummers for my kiddo and animation.

I was just there meeting a friend I wasnt bowling so Im not sure it appeared to be open for bowling I didnt see anybody bowling I was there early in the morning but my staff and I had fun

Took us pretty much the entire day to get a lane, disappointed but determined we left and came back but ended up having a great time when we got our lane. I appreciate the staff being patient and attentive with us. We ordered some food as well which was very tasty! Overall I’m glad we went and we had a fun time even though there were a few bumps in the road.

The Kids bowl free program is awesome! However, you have to pay for shoes. They offer a shoe pass per each kid. This is will be our place to go on hot summer days.

Liked the atmosphere and the layout. The scoreboard was a new style I have never seen. Tons of stats and even shows your ball speed. The lanes are not real wood planks so there is really no give in the ball and the oil is super slick so your ball thrown is always different once the ball sucks up the oil. The prices on the beer was decent and they had a good menu. I did like the amount of beer they had on tap but a few kegs were tapped. Overall it was a good experience.

Food was okay. We ordered the ultimate nacho, but the ground beef was so burnt that we ended up not eating the entire thing. Also, I wish they would let their customers finish their game after an hour before closing the lane. We were down to the last game with 2 players that still needed to bowl to close out the hour.

Have bowled here on a league and for fun. Food is good. Usually more fun when they are not packed as far as others following bowling etiquette. When kids were done bowling they had fun in the arcade.

Great time! The staff took care of everything for us and we had a blast.

Downgraded, dont know when they started charging by the hour for bowling on Saturday and Sunday but 30 bucks an hour is ridiculous. Granted I havent bowled hear since summer of 2019 but wife still does a leauge here and she was equally shocked by the pricing structure. We took off to Kellog still reasonably priced.

I went there to play Video Lottery. There was a female sitting in one of the chairs, in front of one of the machines, but she wasnt playing. The entire time I was in there, she was on her phone and not even turned towards the machine. It needs to be monitored more closely, so paying customers can play the machines they would like to play.

Out of all of the bowling alleys in Portland area including Beaverton etc. kingpins is the only bowling alley that makes you wait 30 plus minutes even if you are first on the waitlist for quartermania. Not coming back anymore this has happened every week for the last 4 months. They’re league reserve lane rule is ridiculous. I bowl better then they’re league.

Im a regular at KingPins and the staff are quite friendly. I also got a very large plush snake from the arcade section of the establishment and he cuddles me often, so overall I am quite pleased. My only regret is thst I could only afford one snake. More snek=more love in the world.

Really nice place. Semi-private lanes in the bar. Big menu. Prices are higher than nearby alleys, but worth it for the clean place, good atmosphere, helpful and courteous staff. Arcade looked small, but I didnt go in. Bathroom was small but clean. Pro shop closed Sundays, so I wasnt able to check it out or get my ball drilled.

Had to wait an hour before a lane opened which was fine so we headed to order food. Food service was extremely slow. We waited over an hour for food and by then our lane was ready. Food was delivered to the lane (there were 6 of us). Food was cold and I thought since I ordered their special kingpin steak salad it would be tasty. It was horrible. Had yo spit out the steak because it was so fatty. Let them know and they said Ill be sure to tell the kitchen. Slider bun was hard and meat was extremely overcooked. Kids had hot dogs and french fries and they seemed to like them. Had one of their fries and it was tasty. One person had the street tacos and said they were good. Another person had a chef salad and said it was good. We ended up losing some if the 2 hour bowling time because our food was so late. Employees were friendly but feel should have been offered either some additional bowling time, new food or something.Thank you Dave for taking time to talk with me and asking for details about my families evening to find out what happened and trying to make things right. I really appreciate you taking time to try and make things better. Will definitely give Kingpins another try.

I love this place! Fun atmosphere, but the main reason I love this place is that they offer discounted prices for those with special needs. More businesses in the community need to be doing this, and KingPins sets a great example. Special shout out to Sage for being so helpful and wonderful.

My husband used to do a bowling league here. We’ve also taken our kids a handful of times. We love the atmosphere here but the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because it’s more on the spendy side. Also, the last time my kids were there, the prizes were mislabeled and my kids were super disappointed. Other than that, food is awesome, atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly.

HUGE ARCADE, very up to date. All employees seemed Nice to me and were helpfull. The pizza is super bomb there, I would definitely return. Its a very happy environment.

Great place to go with the family. Even on busier weekend nights wait time isn’t too bad and there is always the arcade which is a great way to pass the time. Had a team building night with my work here in the fall and just recently had my sons birthday and all I can say is Overall great experiences each time. A monthly bowling night here has definitely become our thing!

Super fun. The arcade has a lot of different kind of games. My favorite is the basketball connect four. The food is always yummy and everyone is always really nice.

Bowling is always good, but the selection of the arcade leaves something to be desired, and the food is unreasonably expensive for the servings you receive. If you are here for bowling, it is great, but save your money on everything else.

This bowling alley is right behind where the old Sunset Lanes building used to be. Its way bigger and nicer than the old bowling alley. There is a bar with a video poker lounge for adults as well as an arcade for the kids & of course state-of-the-art bowling lanes for the whole family to enjoy, & you have the option to easily make online reservations if youd like. There is a parking lot in the front as well as a multi level parking structure behind the building if youd prefer covered parking, its well lit & spacious. Over all its a great addition to the area. Fun for the whole family or a group of friends.

Bowled in the bar section and had a great time. Good food, beer and service. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is because i have been there twice and both times they have played the same 10 songs on repeat. Good songs but i dont want to keep hearing them over and over again.

Dropped in with my family to try to do a round of bowling and they had over 20 lanes open and told me they did not have one lane available on a Saturday afternoon before 3 PM. Nice place if you can get in.

We had a delicious meal here, the loaded fries were very much worth it. The arcade is a lot of fun but some of the games are priced kinda high they do have half price nights. Excellent selection in the prize area though! Make sure if you dont want to wait for a lane, reserve one before you come!

First of all, Im not a bowler but this was a meetup with coworkers so of course, I went. And Im really glad I did. This place is a blast! Great service-we reserved space in the bar area and our lane was right beside it. Out server was right on top of things every refilling our waters at the bowling lane. The food is actually quite good. I was super surprised at that. We had two kinds of pizza, loaded fries and some other things. All were very tasty and were devoured. And bowling was so much fun! Theres also a large arcade and game area which I didnt visit but well definitely go back. Bonus: Very clean all over, including the bathrooms.

I came here to have a good time, not be publicly outted as someone who cannot bowl! They would not allow bumpers because we werent 12 and under, which is utterly ridiculous. I bowled very poorly as anticipated and will not be returning to an alley that does not allow guests to choose the difficulty of their recreational game!

Great facilities. Good food. Great service. Slightly spendy, but worth it. Our time there flew by much too quickly, and were anxious to return. The burgers, sliders, wings and fries ate great.
