Roughly double the price of my usual laundromat.Oh well; back to the old l-mat. Cleaner, cheaper, friendlier. And in a nicer part of town!

This place used to be very cool and unfortunately they dont even let you sit down when youre doing your laundry and you cant fold your laundry there so thats a little weird and annoying. They are acting like Multnomah county is closed down instead of in phase one.

It was very helpful and clean. The service was impressive and very understandable. I am going bavk for sure.

The washers are huge,a little spendy but huge. The price of washing is high but the drying makes up the difference. Unlike other laundromats who tend to turn the heat down on their dryers so you pay more to dry this place doesnt. Drying is cheap and fast. They also have video games and a snack bar where you can enjoy a cold beer and sandwich while waiting on your laundry to finish.

Although the wash is pricier, the dryer prices make up for it almost completely. The laundromat I used to go to was the same price for both, but it was only 75 cents for me to dry here. They also have a projector on the wall with kids shows playing, a reading corner, coffee and snack shop, arcade and good music! ALSO there is a review below that complains about having to swipe your card too many times and the signs being confusing, but if you just read the signs instead of rush through it makes complete sense. All you have to do is adjust the price on the swipe bar to match what you have input on the washer, THEN swipe and then hit start, which is %100 explained on every single washer.

Best laundromat Ive been too. Excellently clean, very helpful staff and I can pay with my phone! I also dont think Ive ever seen a dryer I could fit inside before, as a fairly tall and large person, so thats impressive.

Very cool staff. You can trust leaving your clothes there to run errands and let’s not forget the complimentary soap for your clothes! They also have a cool little arcade upstairs. 10/10

Not to crowded at the right times. Clean. I should just buy a bigger washing machine and save some money, though those dryers they have work 3 times faster than a home dryer.

Was in and out pretty quick $4 to wash a double load of laundry and $1 to dry ($.25 for every six minutes of dry time) you cannot fold or wait on site because of covid-19, so br prepared to go in a walk or wait in your car. Staff was friendly, location was clean.

Nice washers and dryers. Machines take credit cards so thats awesome. Kinda pricey but makes up for the great quality.

Excellent place to stop by! I want to visit more Spin Laundries now, it made the experience so much better to have a space to exist in while waiting for laundry to be done.

Very crowded with too few machines. Not well kept and the driers dont perform well.

My duplex has a shared washer and dryer but I still drive ten minutes to come to Spin because their machines are superb and my clothes always come out looking great. The parking situation sucks, which is mostly a condition of the neighborhood growing up around it. But the ambience is awesome - sometimes laundromats have the sad feeling of a late night city bus. Spin is vibrant, fun, and makes Laundry day something to look forward to. Bonus that I’ve twice found my socks on their lost sock wall.

SPIN is totally the best laundry mat in the Boise neighborhood. Its nice to have a place to go and kick back while the laundry gets washed and dried.

Quick machines, friendly staff, a cafe, arcade games... Spin is NOT your Grandmas laundromat! Also, not cheap. A normal size washing machine will set you back $6. You can wash smaller loads for around $3. Drying is cheaper - 25 cents for 6 minutes. If you can afford it, this is the nicest, friendliest, most interesting laundromat in Portland.

This is a very very very nice clean efficient place to wash your clothes they even offer a coconut-based scent-free detergent. They have a seating area with magazines some board games and books not sure if this is standard at every location but theres even an option for the washer or dryer to text you mobile phone when its done and wont unlock untill you come back, how cool is that!! Small loads and industrial you get what you pay for which is WAY worth it in the end!

Today I had a medium wash machine a little over full and the dryer finished the load in 12 min with 2 quarters. I had about 3 lbs of denim. Great dryers

I love coming to Spin, even though I live deep in Southeast Portland. I probably do laundry three times a month at most and the fact that it doesnt feel like a chore is the best part. In and out in about an hour or so. I use the largest machine and take care of everything in one sitting. My only real complaint is parking but I guess that encourages calling an Uber or using public transportation.

Great place to do your laundry, or drop it off and have them do it. Husband/wife team cares about their customers. Many huge washers, carts, and even automatic doors so you can enter/exit with your arms full of clothes. Will return!

Stopped in during our vacation to deal with the inevitable problem of minimal packing space. A nice clean place with friendly staff. The have supplies for the laundry as well as a nice selection of drinks and snacks. There is also an arcade upstairs but I didnt venture up there.Parking was the biggest problem I had to drop my wife off with the load and park a really long distance away and walk in.

This is the best laundromat ever. I can actually truly say - if I lived here this is place I will do my laundry.Clean. Fresh, new mashines.Place to come sit, drink coffee or chai tea . You can play barkedia games and what not. So yes go do your laundry here. Support locals !

Clean laundry facility with chill vibe. Great little cafe with Paninis and various pastries. Coffee and beer! What!? Fantastic. Also grand central bakery and ecliptic brewery are a 1 min walk away. This place rocks.

Spin Laundry Lounge is a fantastic laundry mat that provides more than just a laundry service. The space provided great staff and amenities that were clean/ easy to use. There is a coffee bar and fast WiFi. The convenience of getting complimentary soap for wash cycles is great. Would recommend to anyone.

I KNOW I never went there, so why Maps thinks I did is a mystery. My best guess is a nearby bus stop.

This makes doing laundry as enjoyable as possible. Tasty drinks and snacks (even alcohol), music and arcade games and helpful staff all make the time pass quickly. They have huge units for doing very large loads at once and give you free detergent.

I dig it. Although it would be even better if you were aloud to bring in your own snacks. Still 5/5 you can do giant loads in 20 minutes they also have folding services you can purchase

Love this place! Its a laundromat, but its clean and the machines work well, the staff is friendly and helpful. The snacks and drinks make doing laundry almost fun. Free WiFi, arcade games and pet friendly if on a leash. Its a little pricey, but I got a lot done quickly.

Closed 3 days a week. Useless

A 30 lb washer (3 loads) starts at $6.00 for a quick wash which takes about 25 minutes. A 50lb dryer runs at $0.25 per 6 minutes of run time. They give you free soap for your wash if you ask, and have a great waiting area with a cafe, tables, wifi and arcade games. Everything was very clean and orderly.

Really nice equipment in a really nice space. Has a cafe with a comftorable seating area which to me is a big plus. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Dont listen to these brain dead reviewers on here. This place is fantastic. My wife and I do a load here once or twice a week. Its $4 for an awesome quick wash (15 minutes) and $.25 for dryer. Usually $1 drys the load. I dont know what these other reviewers are getting their prices from but We are quite happy with a $5 wash and dry. I probably spend more on pinball here than laundry... My first visit, I was a noob and double swiped my card on a washer. Staff was super friendly and quickly resolved MY error. Its not the cheapest but the machines are nice, and the entire place is clean. To those complaining about parking, You must HATE Portland. Bottom line, this place is the most enjoyable laundry experience Ive ever had.

This laundromat is the best Ive ever been to. Great taps and coffee. The machines work incredibly well, and you can use your debit card. The machines are time efficient as well.I highly recommend this laundromat.

I was traveling through Portland and this is where I stopped to do 1 load of laundry. Wow! Clean and spacious. Organized and inexpensive. Fast! The attendant on duty was Barry, who helped me out, a friendly guy. Plenty of room to lounge and read while doing laundry, or a little retro arcade upstairs. Very cool! This place impressed me! Super clean. Lots of machines that work well! Coffee bar avail and good seating. There is an attendant present. Wash is $4 and dry is $.25 for first 5 mins and then 10 mins for additional $.25. Machines will text you when they are finished. Very cool.

Friendly environment and quicker wash and dry!

Jan is a saint amongst mortals!! She helped my wife and I get 80lbs of clothes, towels, and bedding washed, sorted, and folded.... By days end. We just welcomed our first child into the world 2 weeks earlier than expected, and Jan helped take an emense amount of stress off our plate by knocking it all out in one day. So amazing. A million thank yous to Jan and everyone at spin for being so wonderfully helpful and genuine. We are customers for life.

Reasonable prices for laundromat with amenities and complimentary soap. If you need help with machines ask for it. Youll need to select the right wash to clean your clothes: the default quick wash is just meant to be that, not a real wash. (Suggestion to owners that you give people some helpful guide if they are newbies.) Not impressed with food service though: $11 sunrise bowl was in actuality about $2.75 worth of food. Appreciate the place and will be back... Just wont get food.

The washing machines text you to let you know your laundry is almost ready. The food was good, not sure what to expect from a laundromat but it was good. The cocktails were also good. There is a projection TV that was showing soccer when we were there. I had trouble with one of the dryers not working and the lady working there was super helpful. She asked me how much money I had put in the dryer (75 cents) and, even though she had know way of knowing if I was telling the truth or not, she believed me without question. That was really nice. It might seem a little more expensive than other laundromats but the machines are larger (so you wash more clothes in a single load) and the dryers dry quickly so it will end up costing you about the same.

I have been coming here for years and the last two times I’ve come the cafe has been closed. No where can I find on the website that it says the cafe closes at 8pm, I had to ask when I got here at 7:40pm (it was already closed). This placed is over priced and I literally come here so I can eat and do laundry, which is what makes this place unique and worth it. Still it’s an eco friendly laundromat with big and fast machines that are well maintained and clean. It’s also close to a lot of good restaurants.

We were in Portland as a stop on our honeymoon and needed some clean clothes. I’d heard about Spin from Buzzfeed and it didn’t disappoint. This place is clean and there’s a yummy cafe attached. Coffee and reading while waiting for your sand soaked clothes to be clean? YES, please!

Such a cool little spot to do your laundry. Good amount and array of washers and dryers. Its very pleasant to actually be able to come and chill in their lounge plus theres food, drinks, and a mini arcade! The music is great as well. Definitely can vibe while folding and hanging your clothes. Plus they have complimentary hangers if you happen to forget some at home, cool!

These place is great! The Spin Laundry Lounge is great for washing your down feather comforter, way faster than the typical all-day-at-home way; oversized washers and dryers, plus free hypoallergenic soap (or at least super affordable)! All while going ultra hipster on a hummus plate and a local stubby IPA. Haha! Great atmosphere

They have one hypoallergenic machine so if you have sensitivities and need a laundromat this is the one and only hypoallergenic machine that I know of in Portland. Call ahead to schedule use of it if you dont want to have to wait.

My first time in Spin laundry lounge. I was working for a company. Who had sent me to do there laundry. Not knowing what to expect. Upon arrival I was introduced by Barry. Who went above and beyond his duties to assist me. Great customer service made me feel welcomed and appreciated.I was able to get my laundry done in a timely manner. Extremely clean and pleasant atmosphere. Lounge with light food, coffee, & alcohol. Lively music. Books. Games. TV. Arcade. Helpful and friendly staff. If one must do laundry, this is a terrific place!

We were in and out in an hour! Sixteen minute wash, and twenty four minute dry with soap tenders helping at every turn. An iced mocha for me, americana for dad, chocolate chip cookie and pin ball for my lil guy. We all left HAPPY!

I love this place! The atmosphere is amazing. The service/attendee is very knowledgeable and patient. The coffee lounge is very relaxing. My favorite part about Spin Laundry mat is the free two minute cycle for sanitation that is offered. This is the only laundry mat, (and I have tried a few) that I know that offers this option and where my clothes actually leave smelling like my detergent and not dirty water. The free sanitation wash that is offered is absolutely brilliant and worth it. Oh and let’s not forget, the dryers actually dry clothes faster than you would think (a good 30-40 minutes dried a big blanket, three pillows and two liquids of washed clothes in one dryer machine.) I will definitely be returning here.

Spin laundry is an eco friendly laundry mat. They provide free laundry soap for your first load. You can put your load in and then walk down the street to eat a meal. The only con is lack of parking. I had to park 2 blocks away

I had a futon cover to clean and needed a REALLY big washing machine. Which they had, of course. I had forgotten to bring soap, so getting free soap was a major plus. The machines worked great, the staff members were super helpful and friendly and I got to have a pint of IPA while doing my laundry! What more can you ask for??

I love this laundromat! The laundry attendants were very helpful - told us about the free sanitizing option, the complimentary detergent, and all the great little tricks. There are a lot of machines so never a wait, and decent prices. Also a little cafe!

I had a wonderful experience here. It was busy but it didnt feel crowded. Everybody knew the systems and moved around each other with ease. There is a small cafe inside with some baked goods. Food and drinks were pretty good. There is a station where they say that they will do your laundry for you. I looked at the prices but it was pretty expensive. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This is the best laundromat I have ever been to! You can use a credit card at the machine, and they give you laundry detergent! There is also a cozy place to sit and stop a match latte or play games/read.

This is what you call a rich people/hipster laundry. You have to think, a family of four must spend $100 a month here. A single hipster certainly wouldnt care since it has all the fixings PDX can provide to blow your wad on. Coffee, food, beer, video games. There was a dog in there last time which may or may not have caused additional washings with its free-flying hair (yes, there was a dog in the clothes cleaning place). Reminds me of the time I saw a dog in the N Killingsworth Safeway but eh, its f it in the PDX. Wash prices are funny but you can make up for it in dry prices that are decent.Functionally, its clean and has help available but otherwise, I think it simply has a monopoly on the (lack of) launderettes in the area. Wouldnt surprise me if the owner lives in San Francisco.The Grand Central Bakery next door has about 15x the parking.

Really nice laundromat... For a price. The machines are so fast by the time you get your wash in its time to switch loads. Didnt really get to make use of the arcade, TV room, or cafe. Was too busy with clothes and blankets. But it is spotless, open layout, and definitely not crowded. But it is probably the most expensive laundromat I have ever visited.

Spin is way more than a laundromat. Big, clean machines. Lots of space to fold your clothes. Nice, helpful staff. Went to clean my comforter and found out they have a new comforter wash cycle. It came out like new, no clumping at all. And they have delicious tea to sip while you wait.

Best laundry place ever. All machines are front loading, well serviced and sanitized regulary. Washers can handle 2 to 6 loads, have quick wash and regular cycles. Dryers are gas fired and very efficient. Great staff, arcade area, break room with food and drinks, TV and music. Bulk wash and fold services available.

Very flash washers and driers, our clothes were done quickly and well. Theres Wi-Fi and a restroom, plus a nice area to hang out while you wait.

Definitely my favorite place to do laundry now! Might even beat doing laundry at home (well, almost). The cafe has a nice beer selection and good food. My boyfriend says he has never been disappointed by there coffees. The washers and dryers and clean and efficient. The workers are constantly sweeping the floor and the place always looks clean. Not to mention there is a scarcely used (in my experiences) arcade upstairs!
