Great spot to play volleyball, go paddle boarding, and hang out in the sun! Such a beautiful park with great park rangers who manage and take care of it.

Lots places to ride bikes and 2 very nice play areas with great view of the lake . My kids loved that they could see the fish swimming right up by the dock

Had a great walk here. Very nice small trail with marsh and lake. Only negative is that the floating deck walks to the lake are leaking and start to sink when you walk on them, so u dont make it to the actual lake and the marsh ones are closed. Wish they would fix this.

Its beautiful, peaceful and I love watching the boats go out into lake Michigan.

Played pickleball with the family. There are 4 nice pickleball courts. It was busy, but we were able to get a court pretty quickly.

The park is open to public. Its beautiful in each season, but I fall in love with the Autumn color.

Beautiful view of Austin Lake. Not too busy with a nice variety of picnic table settings. Flush toilets are a bonus!!

Nice spot for a gathering and fishing I assume based on all the people on the docks. Can be a bit windy sometimes just a heads up.

Best place in Portage to watch the sunrise...

As usual Portage did a great job providing parks and recreation for its residents. My only issue is the multiple blind spots surrounding the playground due to the placement of the equipment and the seating is either lower than the playground or to far away. I would like to see bench seating surrounding the playground in all of the Portage parks. Harbor West has a very nice arrangement surrounding the playground there.

Beautiful park with lots to do for the kids. A bigger playground near the water and a smaller one (good for toddlers) near the front. Safe and clean.Toddler swings! My daughter loves going here.

Great starter fishing spot

One of the best parks in Kalamazoo Id say! Very clean, very well kept and a lot to do. There are multiple playgrounds along the pavement trail that loops around the entire park. Right on the lake (hence the name Lakeview) where there are a couple walkways out to the water. One walkway has a pavillion at the end where you can enjoy the view or fish. Overall, a lovely park with plenty to do and a pleasant view of the lake and trees!

I really enjoy this park. It is kept clean. There is a nice, short walking path around the entire park. I also enjoy the view of the lake.

Its a nice park. A toddler playground near the road, and a playground for older kids closer to the lake. A running or bike trail surrounds and goes through the park. Two piers for fishing.

Had a LOVELY TIME for my first visit. The area was clean and friendly. Im so pooped from watching the water boats and Grandkids running around for 1 of my Grands Birthday party. Its just relaxing!! Now I can shower and sleep like a baby!

A delightfully beautiful park located right next to one of the many area lakes. Theres something to do for everyone. Multiple awnings provide ample eating and grilling space, while also just a nice spot to get out of the sun.There are multiple baseball/softball diamonds, volleyball courts, a play area, and even pickleball courts. Something to do for everybody.

Absolutely beautiful in the early hours. Mostly the littles biting the bait by the shore. Play area is nice with restroom close by, kids love it here.

Big park with long paved loop trail. Two playgrounds. Fishing piers (no beach). Volleyball and tennis courts. Baseball diamond. Two covered pavilions with picnic tables. Restrooms. Easy to access on foot, by bike, by car. Free.

I love this park. It feels like a peace of heaven on earth. It is not too big but it’s big enough to get a good walk or run by the lake. They have space for volleyball and other sports as well as pavilions to be rented for gatherings. I like to come over with my dog and they also have the bags available if I forget to bring mine. It’s good for fishing too. Highly recommended.

Great park for some time out for little ones. Two good sized play structures have some unique offers (like a large river raft swing that seats two).There are basketball courts, tennis courts, and two docks on the water. I dont fish but there were quite a few people fishing there, so it must be somewhat fruitful. There are also onsite restrooms, I didnt go in so I cant judge their cleanliness.There is also a nice long paved path around the park and through some light wooded areas.

Lakeview Park is a lovely Park. There are two piers (one with a covered area at the end) that you can walk or fish on; to sand volleyball courts; 4 pickleball courts; 1 tennis court (it was broken when we went to it though); a playground for kids; a paved bike trail that runs through it; and plenty of open grass fields.

Had a wonderful time with grandsons ages 2 1/2 & 4 1/2. 2 playgrounds and 2 docks. Lots of walkways and plenty of space to run!

Its the greatest place to get walking in slight inclines and beautiful scenery.

We have our daughters birthday here every year and its great. I just wish it had more trees and pavillions.

Great park for families with young kids, my son loves the playground, which is built for even the youngest of kids, 2 and up. Pavilions, grills and a late side boardwalk, fishing kayaking are also popular at this park since its right on the lake.

Clean, plenty for little ones to do and fishing off decks with safety rails.... Several nice covered pavilions for picnics. Will visit often

We love spending our family time there - its great for picnics in summer and great for walks with a stroller in any season. Now when our daughter is a toddler she enjoys throwing acorns into the water. Play grounds here are also nice. I personally love this park being on the lake - views are beautiful

Lovely park! Not too crowded, and a nice paved path to walk on if you are looking for that. Beautiful waterfront, with two cute docks. We saw a number of people fishing off of one of them. There is also a covered picnic area, tables, and benches to rest on to enjoy the view. Park path also leads through a pretty foresty area. Such a pleasant atmosphere!

Nice park with bathrooms, ballfield, cooking area. Twin docks, not a bad place to fish, either.

Updated playground (although I liked some of the older stuff better).Nice sized track for walks or kids bikes. RIGHT ON THE WATER so bring a jacket especially if its at all windy on land. Has a Pokemon Go nest. Indoor plumbed bathroom but not very updated/new. Lots of picnic area. Large field for kites/other activities. Small dock for fishing. No swimming.

Nice park for people age 5 and above. There should be playground equipment for kids under 5 and it would earn a 5th star. Docks to fish basketball and tennis courts, softball field and picnic areas as trails for hiking and biking.

Great local park to enjoy on a sunny day. Bring a fishing pole and use the fishing docks. Playground, softball fields, and wide open spaces. The park is clean and well kept.
