Love this place! Walk, run, skate, board bike! Family environment so please be mindulf of children around. Dog friendly. Leashed and self pick up. People are respectful and typically call out if passing on right or left. Plenty of benches along routes for rests or chats.

Me and my family had a wonderful time! My first time will definitely be back! So peaceful and beautiful I love it!

Christmas card lane was awesome....

The grounds were beautiful and the salt mill was neat for the wedding. The only thing I recommend is that they have the upstairs staged for a getting ready suite for the wedding. I wanted to do photos of her upstairs but the background would have been Christmas storage/decorations/boxes and junk.

First time going there and I gotta say, its totally not the giant, boring, celery farm it was in my head...Lots of people, outdoor seating, outdoor bathrooms, nice ponds and walking trails for some good ole excercise.Lots of PokeStops and pokemon mests here.

Not one piece of celery in this whole park, and its not even that flat 0/10.(Honestly though, this place is pretty and I have most of my professional photos taken here)

This is a good park. The area seems designed for events, and this area and surrounding area is a good spot for pokemon

Celery Flats is a historic place (mid 1800s) on the Portage Creek Bicentennial Park Trail. A nice stop to get off the bike and walk around an old school house, a manor house, and an open-air amphitheater. All joyfully well kept.

Always a pleasant time walking on well maintained trails in a natural setting of river, bridges, prairie, marsh, deers, ducks, etc.

Nice, flat walk. Not too crowded on a weekday but with enough bikes, strollers, skates to keep you paying attention.

I met a deer. His name was fred. We pranced around the forest together and sung beautiful songs

The City of Portage has done a fantastic job of renovating this park. The new bathrooms and picnic shelter are great. There is a new parking lot with lots of parking spaces. This park has access to miles of paved trail.

Because celery is my favorite and this place has the best celery around hands down

So many interesting places to go here. Playgrounds, ponds, a river, walking trails, beautiful historical buildings, and a great outdoor picnic area.

Good paved trails, dog friendly, gazebo has nice tables/chairs and the City of Portage provides free WiFi. Great place to go on lunch and still get some work done.

Great park. Friendly to multiple forms of exercise and outdoor activity. Although it doesnt have a playground or any kind of sports field i think it is a great spot for the entire family.

My husband enjoyed our dinner at the new picnic tables at Celery Flats! We hadnt visited since it was redone, and the park is looking so nice! This is definitely a great place to come relax!

Very nice clean space. It has trails for bikes and walking. There are restrooms and an eating area, however there isnt much to do, so if you have kids bring a frisbee

This place is incredible! You could easily spend the whole day here whether its on the trails or at one of many sitting spots just taking in the beauty!They even have covered places you can rent for your own events. A must see in Portage!!

Love what a clean family friendly park this is. The city of Portage is doing wonderful to maintain it. It was great to see the people out and about there. It was great to see everyone enjoying the Art in the Park as well. Which was interesting too.

Wonderful place to walk, rollerblade, bike, skateboard etc. It feels like youre out of the city in a way with lots of nature around. I always enjoy coming here and walking with a nice hot cup of tea or coffee. Highly recommend.

Nice park. Good facilities. Wild life from birds, fish, dear, fox and most of your woodland creatures. Over 5 miles of walking and biking trails.Swamp to woodland small ponds and river. Some fishing spots along the way.

Nice public riding paths but they need some tending to. Its been a while. Getting to be a rougher ride on skateboard or blades.

The grounds on which this trail was blazed/ created were previously the same area in which my Grandparents built their home and lived for more than 50 years. I have many fond memories of growing up and playing as a young child on these grounds/ property. I absolutely love that this land has been preserved for nature.

Actually it was my first time being there in over a year and the place has changed for the better! Parking is nicer and easier! Walking was a lot nicer with more benches and the area was just beautiful! It was a Pokemon community day but the people were nice and friendly and we saw a birthday party going on along with a wedding also! I Definately will be going back there more often to do my walking!

I love walking the trails. I wish there was still a playground for my daughter to play on. Other than that we absolutely love Celery Flats!

Super awesome park, if you take a left from the parking lot and keep walking past the little pond follow the trail until you reach the cutest little river. Theres a nice bench to sit on that was dedicated in memory of a young girl who passed away. If you look to the right of the bench theres a little cove where these awesome blue and black butterfly type insects live they have four wings! And the blue on them in super bright and beautiful, here is a picture of them if you can spot it. Anyway better to see in person.. check it out.

Beautiful park! Love the Portage Creek Bicentennial Park Trail that runs through it! Well-maintained, paved pathway perfect for walkers, runners, rollerskating/blading, skateboarding, biking, etc.

Celery flats is a very beautiful park. It was a little busy when I went because of senior pictures but I cant blame them. There are so many good scenic locations and the color on the trees was stunning. The trails are very wide and paved. Its a great place to walk, bike, or roller skate. Even though the bikes share the trail its never an issue because everyone is respectful and the paths are so wide.

Biased opinion based on fond memories, but what a nice place to have in our city!

Lovely city park, intertwining walking/cycling paths, historical buildings, and seclusion from the hustle an bustle of a major shopping area. Once on the paths you forget that you are in an urban area.

A wonderful place for everyone to enjoy nature. Riding bikes on the paved trails is my favorite thing to do here. It is also a good place to take some photos so bring your camera.

Celery Flats to Bicentennial Park is a lovely walk on a blacktop trail. We saw three deer and heard lots of frogs when the trail got near the creek.

Very lovely, nicely kept park in the Portage area. I have personally gone here to take high school senior, prom, and engagement photos! Ive known many people to do the same and the last time I went someone was getting married in the barn! Definitely recommend checking it out for photo shoots

Good access point for the Portage Creek trail. Its a relatively flat trail and is only about 4 miles. Also you can take another trail that leads part the mall.
