Worth more than 5 stars! Great Value for the money! All I can say is Westwind Air Service is AMAZING!!! From the booking with Lindsey to our flight with Pilot Dan to our tour on the ground with Jerry w/Buck Wild Jeep tours, our Grand Canyon tour was absolutely perfect!! The customer service from beginning to end was so great. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! The jeep tour they partner with mirrored the same awesomeness! You get GREAT views and are able to see more in a short time leaving you with the rest of the afternoon to do more exploring! If your looking for a great way to see the Grand Canyon(you get to see it all from the air) call Westwind Air Service.

Worth. Every. Penny.We were going to drive from Phoenix to Grand Canyon and visit for a day and thought it would be way more fun to go by air and land. Googled this place and they did not disappoint. At $549 per person, 8 of us got into a very comfy tiny plane and flew over Sedona, flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. Spent 30 min over Grand Canyon alone. Landed and took a pink Jeep tour (included in the piece). Our guide was Lucy and she was absolutely awesome. Spent about 2-3 hrs on land with her. She provided us with lunch (sandwich, chips, cookie, apple and water). Flew back to Phoenix in same plane. Cannot remember the pilot, but he just had twins, so congrats and thanks for a terrific day and experience! We will never forget this day!

This is the second time for us flying with Westwind! The staff is extremely helpful with choosing which tour you want (Lindsey is the best) Our Piolet Captain Dan was just the best, we had a smooth flight and he hung with us & showed us the ropes all day! Destiny greeted us upon arrival and when we got back with some awesome photos she took. This is a once in a lifetime trip! I highly recommend it! We will definitely be using Westwind again!

I cannot recommend this company and its beyond accomadating services enough! To start, I am not a huge planner because my life is so uncertain and unpredictable in my line of business. I messaged Westwind Air and IMMEDIATELY recieved a phone call back from Val. She had fantastic news for me… they still had 2 available openings for the time amd date I preferred, with less then 18 hours notice I had given her regarding the Grand Canyon West Rim tour. Where do I begin? Lets start with my arrival to Deer Valley Airport where we depart. I was greeted by Val herself, with snacks refreshments and a phone charger ( which is standard for anyone waiting at the lounge)I arrived an hour early expecting things to be a little busy, but I was checked in-and-out within one minute! Wow! Delightful!Soon after we were given about 5 minute notification for departure anyone who needs to use the bathroom nows your chance even the bathroom was amazing! If there is anything you forgot to do or bring before you came to West wind air service they had already thought of it!Now, on to the amazing adventure. Henry would be our pilot for the day and accompanying us on the tour. Considering this was the 1st time I had ever flown on a 10 passenger plane I requested to sit next to the pilot, permission granted! Thanks Val again! Perhaps a once in a lifetime experience? And off we flew with a guided tour via headsets from Phoenix to the West rim of the Grand Canyon. Once we arrived at the Grand Canyon airport we were immediately escorted over to of the helicopters. Again, no wait, quick effecient we were off in a helicopter escorting us down to The Colorado River Pontoon Boat excusion. Off the heli, now we hop on a boat. Id say we waited a total of 1 minute?We were then greeted by our pontoon boat captain who drove us on a little tour down the river, with insight and information about the wonderous Canyon. Terrible that I cannot remember his name, I think Leo. Super friendly and took pictures of everyone on the boat.After our boat ride we ran back up to the helicopter and requested once again to sit front row with the pilot.. Permission granted! I videod the entire flight back up the Canyon including views and the Colorado River. Helicopter brings us back where the bus is waiting.. to take us to The West Rim GLASS skywalk! I cant imagine if I had tried to experience this on my own, As the lines were tremendous but Henry and westwind air had an alternate plan .. there would be no waiting for our party of 8! What? Impressive!After our walk on glass over the Grand Canyon we would hop back on the bus to enjoy lunch overlooking yet another part of the Canyon.Surprisingly, the meal that was included was probably one of the better meals Ive had on this entire trip and the scenery was outrageous.After lunch we had time to hike the Canyon take some pictures take in the view- just an overall amazing experience! It does not end there!Back on the plane to which I gave up my co-piloting position to another member of the party and a quick flight back to Deer Valley West Wind air service, where Valerie is awaiting us, with PHOTOS she had taken before take off next to the plane!This was the most well organized planned out thoughtful accommodating service oriented company and trip Ive done to date. You can not imagine, that in 7 hours, one could do all of this and be back for dinner! Take off at 11 am, back by 615I am looking for an opportunity to come back out to Arizona again and would hands down absolutely do this day again!Thank you so much to West Wind and its associates for making my first trip to the Grand Canyon unforgettable!

We are happy we did this Dec. 1, there were no crowds and the 45 minute flight was just right to go maybe a third up Lake Powell. West Wind.are professionals and made the experience fun

While visiting Page Az we decided to take an air tour. After doing some research we found that Westwind Air Service offered a 45 minute air tour that includes going over horseshoe bend, rainbow bridge and lake Powell. The views are breathtaking, I promise you will not be disappointed. It’s a great deal for the price, and the plane was very comfortable and well maintained. Our pilot Max was excellent, and very knowledgeable on the area. Our flight was smooth from take off to landing, when booking see if you can get Max as your pilot. I would recommend anyone looking to do an air tour to go through Westwind Air Service, 10/10!

My wife and I decided for our anniversary to take a tour from Deer Valley Airport to Sedona then to the Grand Canyon. The staff was very professional and pleasant. We felt like we were important to them. Our pilot was John . He made our tour an exceptional experience . We were made to feel likeour experience was what mattered to them rather than it just being a tour . Its definitely something I would do again and would highly recommend. This organization is great.

Had a great 90 minute flight over Lake Powell and Monument Valley from Page Airport. Max was our pilot and we felt safe at all times. He was also knowledgeable about the area, pointing out interesting features and the background behind them.

We had an AMAZING day! Douglas, Lindsey and Daniel are incredibly nice and we enjoyed getting to know all of them. The trip was fantastic. Daniel narrated the flight and talked to the boys about becoming a pilot - they were very intrigued. The flight over the Grand Canton was beautiful and we saw so much more than we ever could have on land. Once on land, Stoney from Buck Wild Hummer tours did an amazing job showing us around on the ground. We had a picnic lunch on the rim of the canyon and a day my family will never forget!!!! Incredible!!!

Lindsay was very kind and helpful, she also put a banner that said happy birthday on the plane because I mentioned it was for my boyfriends birthday. She was extra nice and very friendly!!! Went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience!

After doing a ton of research my family and I booked a trip to see the Grand Canyon. This tour was to include a flight from flagstaff to the west rim and from there a helicopter ride to the bottom with a pontoon ride on the river and then back. I had booked this tour just three weeks prior to the scheduled date because of so many concerns about the pandemic. So it was a huge surprise when we arrived at the airport to find out that we would not be making it to the canyon floor or taking a pontoon ride. No other option was given and no communication from the company notifying us about this problem. The entire reason for booking this tour was to make it to the floor of the canyon. Once we arrived at the rim I found out the pontoon tour and landing of the helicopter at bottom had been suspended for months since the beginning of the pandemic. It’s just sad that this company wasn’t able to notify their customers. I felt cheated and robbed. After many phone calls and no return calls I was credited 300 about 10% of the total cost. Aside from those issues all else was nice. Our pilot was a pleasure and the views were amazing. I would have canceled the entire trip had I known we wouldn’t be going to the floor.

Yes! yes! Yes! While we couldn’t do all of the stuff that we wanted to do because of COVID, the tour was truly breathtaking. Westwind was super helpful in dealing with covid to provide us with a suitable tour. No complaints

Westwind Air Service provided an amazing group tour from booking to finish. I spoke with both Lindsey and Destiny on the phone prior to arriving in Phoenix. Lindsey helped me determine which tour to take (earlier due to less turbulence) and Destiny helped me determine lunch options for me and a group of friends, including whether or not they had gluten free options (they do!). Karla was our pilot and she was friendly, seasoned and put us at ease right away. We were able to take a group picture in front of the plane before leaving and got a copy of it after the tour. The flight there was magnificent. I never felt ill at ease even in a small plane. We saw so many sites (including the Red Rocks of Sedona) and the narration was enhanced by beautiful instrumental Native American music. Karla would pause the narration and interject throughout. The view when we reached the Grand Canyon was my absolute favorite part. There is nothing like it and you have to see it for yourself - and I recommend the aerial view with Westwind! We had a ground tour in a Hummer and our tour guide was Jerry, who is the only Native American tour guide they employ. He offered incredible history about that Navajo and was very accommodating when we needed water or the restrooms and made sure to ask if we were ready for lunch. He took pictures of our group and made sure to really enhance our tour by giving us a lot of information about each stop. Karla made sure to allow us time in the gift shop before we left to return to Phoenix. The flight back was smooth and when we returned Destiny made sure to offer us bottles of water and she included recommendations for sites and restaurants in places we planned to visit later. She even wrote down the names and addresses of a couple local gluten free places for my friend. This was an experience of a lifetime well worth the cost. Spend the extra and do both the aerial and ground tour if you have time.

We scheduled a flight from Phoenix to Sedona for a wine tasting tour . It couldnt have gone more perfectly! The pilot was awesome. The headphones we wore during the flight enabled the pilot to share what we flew over along with additional interesting facts about the area. The limo picked us up at the Sedona airport and took us to three wineries. We had lunch at one of them. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wine we enjoyed. The limo dropped us off at the Sedona airport and the pilot took on an interesting route back to Phoenix so that we could see things that we did not see on the way there. I would not hesitate to book another flight package with this company. They offer an incredible number of flight packages to choose from.

Lindsey really helped to get past the typical issues that I have with Chase Ultimate Rewards (Expedia) to make this awesome trip a once in a lifetime opportunity for my family

By far the best travel experience I have ever had. First class all the way. Well run and organized. Friendly staff who ensure your every moment is pleasurable. Pilot Karla was hilarious and excellent at her craft. As a parent of a child with a severe nut allergy, they made the process easy and seamless. I could actually relax and enjoy myself. Ground tour was very professional and our guide, Mr. Montana, was fun and educational. I would definitely book with them again. If I could give six stars I would.

This tour was seamless from check in to check out. My girls and I had an amazing time flying to and over the Grand Canyon. The day was clear and we had absolutely majestic views of Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The pilot was great and pointed out some pretty neat landmarks. This was a most incredible trip. The plane over the Grand Canyon was so breathtaking. Our hummer drive with George as our guide took us to some spots that were out of the way but helped us to see with all of our senses!

The entire experience was just OK. We booked an 8am tour that was delayed, because of frost. When we tried to cancel and book with a helicopter company, Westwind told us that wed have to pay 50% even though the flight had been grounded. We felt forced to take this tour.Also not a good idea for photos, youll get a lot of airplane wing and tire in your shot.

This was well worth it! We were in Sedona and I had never been to the Grand Canyon and wanted to see it. This was amazing seeing it from the air! Brian, our pilot, was fantastic! We felt very safe and the views were awesome. After we got a tour from the air, Buck Wild pocked is up for the ground tour. We did this tour on December 29th so the plastic flaps were put down so we wouldn’t freeze. Our guide, Mark Montana, was funny and and great tour guide. He took us to see the highlights and the. to the village to eat our box lunches. The flight back was straight back to Sedona. It is pricy but worth it!

I took a tour of the Grand Canyon with Westwind Air Service and it was one of the most incredible trips i have ever taken! Our Pilot was incredible at pointing out different landmarks on the way there and the flight was as smooth as could be. We even got to land at Sedona which i absolutely loved! I saw so much of the state and would highly recommend Westwind if you want to see the Canyon in the most spectacular fashion.

Great Air Service! I enjoy the customer service that they provide. Honestly, there wasn’t a time that they never stop smiling and showing us one of the greatest wonders of the world. Would totally recommend this to a friend or family. Although, I believe the gift shop option could be better. I was hoping they would have a souvenir patches of the Grand Canyon.

The thing that sets Westwind apart from other air service providers is the staff. I planned an engagement at their facility after a tour flight. The staff there could not have been more accommodating to my requests and questions. They truly made that day special, and it was all above and beyond what was expected of them as a business. A very professionally run organization. We were greeted pleasantly, told what to expect, given refreshments/snacks and a brief description of the day. We met our pilots, departed on time and had a wonderful flight to/back from the Grand Canyon. Seeing the Grand Canyon from the ground is amazing. Seeing it from the air is AMAZING!
