Me myself and the mountains ... A great hike

Theres some litter that people have left behind, but there are are some OK moderate trails. I heard some gunshots From a nearby range.

Good route for those who already have more experience can go from 3 miles to 6 or 7 miles depending on the condition.

Really neat. Cool rocks to see and a beautiful view. Bring water. Wildlife all around. There is a few abandoned mines around that you might stumble upon if youre following some of the trails. Lots of history.

I love this area and so did my pup! We didn’t finish the trail, we turned back because it was hot. But we checked out scorpion gulch across the street and got to pet some horses. It’s a really beautiful place

Great trail for trail running in South Mountain Park. A little over 2 miles one way, the elevation gain and loss isnt too steep, so youre able to keep a solid pace and enjoy the scenery and awesome Phoenix sunrises. Check it out for a run or a hike, plenty of ways to extend your experience on to other trails too.
