This is a great getaway/hideaway within the city of Philadelphia. Its an ideal space for walking your beloved pet or for some self-reflection. I recommend you visit this space once for sure, youll see what I mean. Nearby is Central Green Park, another one the numerous family and just all around friendly spaces The Navy Yard has to offer.
Very nice place for fishing and a nice running jogging and biking track. Very clean and quite. With the Navy police having a presence its very safe.
This is where I eat lunch when its nice out, and the Navy Yard does a great job of keeping it nice. The trees are getting taller so they provide nice shade when its sunny. Tables and chairs are super heavy so they stay pretty stationary; not a lot of moving around by guys who frequent the park. The one detractor is the landscaping on the east side - not really sure what theyre going for with the overgrown look. Other than that, its nice there! I like it here better then Central Green because its not as crowded.
Thin strip of grass at the rivers edge. Nice place to relax for a few minutes or take a walk.
A friend of mine went in there got us something to drink he said it was nice we were in the neighborhood
Nice place to go for a run, or just walk. Oh and there is a place for fishing too.
This is an awesome fishing spot also nice place to jog, take a walk or just sit and reflect on life as you look out into the water as the barges and tug boats go by and the planes fly above your head landing at the Philadelphia International Airport. Lots of photo ops gear also
Relaxing place to sit back and fish and enjoy the view. Almost doesnt feel like your in the city when your here.
Peaceful and relaxing
Nice Park
No mans land
Nice to go to relax
