Very nice church. The history is just amazing !!!

It is an old gothic church so it is drafty. The people are friendly and I enjoyed the service but I had to keep my coat on during my first visit. The food and coffee for attendees after service was nice.

Serenity

I just love to come here and spent my time. I usually achieve state of solitude whenever I came at this place. I found the actual meaning of peace over here.

I took a few of my guys to the comedy show there! They had a ball along with myself! The Church of The Advocate is a community icon! It does wonderful things for the community!

The church showcases art and shows that pertain to the African American community in Philadelphia. The church is very large and beautiful.

Oustanding experience and an experiment to me, as well. On behalf of Fulbright Commission (+Brown University) and Temple University, I helped the staff of the church to serve meals to people in extreme needs. Place of blessings.

This is an amazing space. Beautiful architecture, impressive murals depicting African American history and experience, and the church does great work in social justice.

Soup kitchen everyday is awesome mon-fri 12-1 pm

It was very hot and could have more organized.in the meeting room.

This is my church as a youth. They foundation of my belief in God.

Lots of community history here. Another pearl forgotten in a neglected part of the city. Will problably be demolished and turned into Lofts soon.

I love it here I went here years ago for parenting classes on how to be the best mommy. And now I go here once a month to get free name brand clothes.
