This is a very nice preserved home in the beautiful Fairmount Park. It was named Lemon Hill because of the lemon trees that once lined the property. There were once greenhouses along the property as well. Come on out! Check out the houses. The only thing that sucks is that they have placed a fence around this property. Some are accessible (houses) and some are not. Still a cool find!!
My daughter had that space but somebody came with papers and moved us
Not open! Went at 12.30 pm on a Sunday and the gate was locked. No answer when I called either - it appeared to be a fax number. No information about why it was closed - disappointing, as the house looks beautiful and very historic from the outside.
Great history, very accessible, fair amount of events are held here, including previous starts of the Broad Street Bomb! Lots of good times, worth the visit.
The park is a beautiful sight to enjoy. However there are no bathroom facilities other than porta potties. Also the gazebo that we were under was not properly maintained. I enjoy parks all over the city of Philadelphia and in other sections with less black people the parks are pristine from the equipment to the entire optic. This needs to be better.
Excellent state of preservation. Good views of the city just above the river. Not crowded but will take one time to tour. Amazing furniture and doors upstairs. The Penn State skulling boat houses are located below along riverfront.
Clean, yes there are hills!havent been there since I was 15 yrs.old Im now 63. Beautiful place to chill. Enjoy
Top 3 best views of skyline views according to Kevin Biallas. Great place to watch the fireworks, enjoy the beer garden (when available) and enjoy the view!
Great picnic area.Really good events that go on throughout the summer
Weve really enjoyed ourselves today at The Reed Family Reunion! I love my extended family as always️️️
Beautiful place
Historic property needs tender love and care. Would be great to restore. Very convenient to Water Works and Boathouse Row.
Beautiful site
The mansion is getting ready for renovation, so most of the interior has been relocated elsewhere. Very sad. But hope to see it again after the renovation.
This place is beautiful at nighttime but be careful because theres a law thar after 12 i believe you cant be in the park any longer

Went to the ice festival. Was a lotta fun.
Philly does it like none other. If youve been to PHS or Center City District pop up beer gardens/ bars you know what I mean. The ambiance is worth the 15 minute wait for over priced, luke warm drinks... Meaning the hot toddy wont be the cold buster youre looking for but the over proof Irish whiskey makes up for the lack of kelvin energy. The Mexican inspired hot chocolate doesnt bring the hot in temp either but the mix of mescal, tequila and chipotle blend so well youre more likely to forget it isnt your mothers carnation instant packet and hot milk with the funky film.Leave the funky feel to the dj spinning ambient appropriate beats with just a touch of holiday...If youre not bringing your own libations, get in line, grab your drinks, cozy up by one of the several the fire pits and warm your toes. Play some lawn games and take a photo on the ice benches or the ice sculpted lemon tree. Its worth the Fairmount Philly experience.
Nice Hill. Cant say much about the Mansion though I have not been inside in many years.
Nice place good places
Its a mansion. In Leamon Hill.
Kewl. Would probably give a better rating but got there when it was closed.
Learn so much
Clean and nicely shaded. We had a ball
Lemon Hill is my favorite place in all of Philadelphia its just beautiful
Just mehh. Its a hill. No lemons. Fairmount Park rangers are out of control. Like most city parks, its crowded and just this side of clean. If you want grass and open space, Id suggest leaving the city limits - far from smelly attempts at bbq and thumping bass from the neighborhood cars.
Best view in the city
Beautiful spot. Architecture is amazing.
Lemon Hill pavilion. Great place to have a family outing.
Highest point near centercity bsides buildings
One of my favorite places to run and relax.

Lemon Hill is also close to Museum of Art & Fairmount water works too. I take my dog here to walk & play (on leash) every chance I can. My favorite place in Philly. Bbqs in summer.
Good place to run in the daytime, but dont do it alone!
I loved it here ! Full of history -Christmas 2016 decor BEAUTIFUL !
