Beautiful Church, the preservation of original architecture is awesome. We attended a family members wedding here in April. I was passing by last night after dinner and could not pass up the opportunity. I took this stunning photo of its “awesome glow” of significance and purpose. I just wanted to help it share it’s wonderful beauty.

Beautiful church for a wedding! Doesn’t even need decorating! The director at the church was also so accommodating and even allowed us to come in a little early to get the beautiful sunset through the stained glass in some of our pictures.

The staff members at UWF Historic Trust were very easy to work with for my daughter’s wedding. But, I would strongly caution anyone against having a wedding here for two reasons. The first is that there may be some type of festival going on at Seville Square where they are blasting music. In our case, the festival was playing “Highway to Hell” when it was time for my daughter to come down the aisle. The wedding coordinator could not hear the piano in the church to send her down the aisle. Also, a wedding with more than 2-3 attendants is going to feel the lack of air conditioned space on the day of the wedding. There’s really no other place for the wedding party to wait until the time of the wedding other than the small bride’s room. The church is a chunk of money to rent and there are these and many other factors completely out of your control.

Beautiful historic church open for tours w the village and for event rentals. Our guide was very knowledgeable. She is a history major and was very in depth about the people and history of the church. Perfect building and lawn for weddings and there is a bridal cottage available.
