A beautiful hour and a half ride around the bay. The captain was super friendly and they had a nice variety of drink options for sale. I would recommend this for tourists as well as locals!
This was a terrific experience. The Captain was informative and kind. The cruise was relaxing and beautiful. If you have a chance to do a night cruise take it. Its a lot of fun.
My husband and I took the last cruise of the day to enjoy the sunset. The bay cruise was really enjoyable. We saw a couple of dolphins and a lots of birds. The Captain had a great sense of humor and handled the boat perfectly. The crew was great, professional and friendly. We will definitely take this cruise again.
Nice, relaxing cruise around the bay! Went on the sunset cruise, which is about an hour and a half. Will definitely be back for other tours :)
Friendly staff. Clean boat. Affordable refreshments. Reasonable prizing. With stops at Fort Pickens ( Historic Fort, Beach and Bird watching and Fishing, etc), Pensacola Beach and Downtown Pensacola (Restaurants, Museums and Historic District). Great oppurtunity to see dolphins and sunset too. Amazing experience. Highly recommended!
Best time on this sunset cruise.
Great experience. Great prices for your family.
An awesome way to spend the day! Great alternative to driving to Pensacola Beach.
Nice cruise, beautiful sunset! Too crowded but we found a corner for our group to stand in at the back of the boat.
I took the fairy to Fort Pickens then to the boardwalk about a 6 months ago. By far, the best day trip I’ve done in a very long time! It has inside and outside seating and a very nice, clean bathroom.
If you have young children, this is probably not the activity for you. Our children were very excited to go on the ferry ride that is advertised as good for kids. We had to give our 3 year old lots of reminders of the rules, and did so throughout the ride to the first drop off. Upon boarding the boat toward the second destination, my wife overheard the young female crew member making negative comments about our kids from the first portion of the trip. That was the first of two times we heard her talking negatively about our kids, only the second time her statement was actually said to our child. While we specifically overheard this staff members comments, there was a strong sense of it being an irritation to have the kids aboard from others working for this business (this was not just one isolated person). Its normal that children 3 and under (and older) require a lot of reminders and prompts to follow rules. Our kids were perfectly safe with our monitoring. I held our 1 year old during much of the ride because of her being too young to understand and follow the rules. Throughout the ride, each time our 3 year old forgot in his excitement and stepped up onto a rail or onto a bench, we promptly redirected him to put his feet on the ground. I think most parents agree that this is what parenting toddlers looks like. The only way to avoid these patterns would be to set a higher age limit on passengers, which this business should perhaps consider doing. Better to do that than to welcome people aboard and collect their money, only to proceed to make them feel lousy while they patronize your business. If you have young children, i suggest you go with another company where they actually make children and families feel welcome. In reply to the owners response: you claim that the number one priority is safety for passengers at all times. If safety was the motivation than any concerns should have been communicated directly, clearly, and early on. The only communication from your unprofessional crew was passive aggressive, unclear, and indirect. Every time our childrens feet were off the ground, and any time they stepped onto seating to see over the edge their parents were addressing it. Any time they started running, they were told to stop by their parents and did so. This cycle played out a number of times, as I said earlier these are toddlers / young children and this repetitive correction / shaping behavior defines parenting at that stage of human development.By the time the capitan finally communicated more directly with concerns, we were likely 75% of the way through this process. If safety was so compromised and is such a concern of your business, why only address it directly and clearly at this stage? Do you train your crew to just convey a generally nasty attitude towards your patrons for 3/4 of the trip in response to strictly prohibited behaviors rather than using effective, professional communication techniques? Parents care more about their children than your immature crew ever will. This was not about safety or your crews concern for it, if that were truly the catalyst to this experience it would have been conveyed earlier and clearly. This was the result of people working the last shift of the week who were ready to be done and were annoyed by little kids. Our childrens safety was never compromised one bit under our care and monitoring. Set a 5 or 6+ age requirement if you dont want kids on your boats that require a lot of reminding of the rules, and sometimes accidentally break them in their excitement. If you continue to have young children on your boats and patents arent policing these behaviors strictly enough for your liking, train your crew to communicate this clearly and effectively early on. Businesses that are good for kids / families partner with parents to help facilitate good / safe experiences on both ends. Your crew were adversarial towards our family from the start, and did nothing to promote a safe or positive experience.
Nice ride with a great view of the bay!
I loved my day bay cruise! Highly recommended to families of all ages! Awesome music, awesome staff, awesome trip!! Shout out to the GM Joe, Phillip, Scott, Ricky and my all time fav- Kikoooo!
Rode the ferry last week and enjoyed it tremendously. We were a mix of seniors and young people. The ferry was clean with air conditioned seating. Outside was just as nice. Saw dolphins. The crew could not have provided better service. They were universally friendly, answering all questions. The ride and view was outstanding. We left the Pensacola port on the 9 a.m. to Ft Pickens. Enjoyed the park, taking the noon ferry to Quiet Water Beach on Pensacola Beach. Returned to Pensacola on the 3:30. No traffic or parking worries.
Wonderful adventure for Blue Angels Homecoming. Will enjoy your services many times to come.
What is a great experience cant wait to do it again!
Very pretty sunset experience! We got a deal where we get free food. Free food and really lost very long with the amount of people.
Crew were very friendly and professional. Very smooth ride. Had a great time!
Really enjoy the boat ride, people would be crazy to drive to the beach on weekends or any day . This is the only way to travel. Its was great, and have already mentioned it to my friends and neighbors. The crew onboard were very friendly. Keep up the good work. 100 percent thumbs up.
Great trip! Well worth it. Got to see dolphins too! Got to do the cruise!
Plesant cruise. Enjoy the short educational films they showed us. Blessed to see a dolphin during the cruise even though its not a dolphin cruise!
A cruise of the Pensacola Bay and a view of the Blue Angel home show. The show was great, seeing the flight patterns and cool stunts.
This was a delightful way to spend the day. We cruised from downtown to P’cola Beach, had lunch, walked around the shops! Tons of fun, highly recommended and look forward to doing it again!
New operators HMS are extremely professional. While they are still in their shakedown period and they do not yet have a beer license to sell aboard it was a very enjoyable cruise and a great way to get around the bay. Highly recommend!
Not what they used to be. Beautiful area, rude staff!
The crew was extremely nice, the ferry was great and we had a great trip. Will definitely do this again.
Had a great afternoon on the ferry. Very family friendly (I couldnt believe there was even a baby changing station onboard). Enjoyed a beverage while my kids looked for dolphins. What a fantastic, stress free way to go to the beach!
Awesome service. Great crew. Amazing sights. Will definitely go again. Keep up the good wor .
Had our first Ferry ride today! What a perfect way to spend the day traveling by ferry from our beautiful downtown Pensacola to the beach. Super smooth ride and first class crew. Loved the history lesson on the big screen on our return trip when the weather got a little testy! Love love love this Ferry! Highly recommend!
Total Rip-Off. Do NOT waste your time or money!!!
A wonderful way to navigate around Pensacola and enjoy the water at the same time. Extremely nice crew and ride.
Enjoyable cruise. Able to see Fort Pickens and Pensacola Beach on the same day!
I did a sunset cruise and it was wonderful fun!
Great place to watch Blue Angels.
Lovely ride around the bay...saw dolphins and had excellent commentary by the local ranger. Well worth the money.
Great experience all around great
Nice ride, departed. Arrived on time.
Best way to see the bay! Great service, great prices, many types of discounts. Very comfortable large boat, air conditioned downstairs, covered but open upstairs. If you go to Pensacola Beach, plan on shopping, dining and/or go to Casino Beach. If you ride to Pensacola, enjoy the shopping, dining and/or waterfront park near Palafox St to the Wahoos stadium. If you go to Fort Pickens, well its an old fort!If you get seasick on this boat you just cant ride anything but the Earth!
Very professional! Great experience!
Fun time great veiws
Absolutely loved it
Wonderful boats...horrible website. Pricing was incorrect and the departure times and locations are confusing.
$20 for Adults a discount for veterans and children. Ferry boat is new and very clean, crew is courteous and we had a park ranger ride with us and told us all about Fort Pickens. The entire trip was about 3hrs. Please give me a like on my review is this was helpful.
Who doesnt love a boat ride? This makes 3 stops and you can hop off and hop on the next one.
Beautiful cruise on pensacola Bay! Reasonable for riding there and back. The ship is brand new. Check the schedule for times. It’s about 45 minutes in each direction.
Best sunset view in Pensacola.
Loved it! Thank you!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MODE OF TRANSPORTATION !!!!!!
Fun and enjoyable!
The Bay Ferries throw large wakes that interfere with operators of smaller vessels to safely operate their boats.
This truly is a wonderful way to spend a day in Pensacola. We took the cruise from the Pensacola Beach boardwalk (Stillwater Pier) to Downtown Pensacola. We walked down Palafox Street for lunch before reboarding, stopping at Fort Pickens, and heading back to Pensacola Beach. The park rangers on board were awesome and my nephew was able to be sworn in as a junior ranger by the end of our last leg. Also, Captain Phillip was incredible with the kids. He taught them about the navigation gauges and how to steer the boat. This is well worth the money and we will certainly be doing it again.
