Beautiful little walk but a lot of graffiti on the stairs. Some of it was written in French. Once down to the shore it is a peaceful opening on the water. I could have stayed for hours. Watch a few of the stairs. They are cracked or unsteady.

Absolutely splendid nature preserve/trail with lots of trees, and a path that leads down to Pensacola Bay beach, where there is an active railroad track. It loops around which makes it great for a workout. Be aware that there are quite of a few stairs, so excellent for cardio!Although it leads to the water there isnt true access (no stairs) to the water without getting creative.A magnificent spot to take a moment to be present in the moment and appreciate the little things.

Great place to walk. Walkway is still stable, albeit stair down to the beach are missing in several spots. My dogs love going down there and playing in the sand and water.

Nice walk through the trees. Graffiti kind of ruins the ambiance. Its obvious the locals dont care for their hometown much.

Its a very popular and convenient place to stop for a quick lunch break, or a hike to the beach area with family or friends, or to take your furry puppy friends for a swim. The boardwalk/step area is perfect for the ease of your hike...down. Be sure to keep your pace in check on the way up, especially during our hot summer months. There are a couple of lookout areas where the walk turns off to a patio type area, as well as steps down to the sandy areas just before the tracks.

A good hike. There is no handicapped access to the beach. But a great place to explore with the kiddies. Bring water, the physical exertion will induce thirst. Very hot in the summer. But a great cool winter day hike.

Really liked this place it adds a little nature to your beach trip.I found it to be a cool spot to chill. There was a steady flow of people walking dogs taking pictures and enjoying the water. However I do agree that because of the walk down to the water elderly people and singles and females should take extra precautions.I will definitely be going back

Out of the way, quiet, awesome trees on the beach. Not for anyone with physical handicaps as there seem to be only 1 ladder down to the beach and a lot of graffiti that at times is crude.

It was a quiet simple hike that leads to the little beach across the tracks. Nature at its finest. Along the boardwalks theres misc graffiti that adds to the tranquility.

Great beach access park they did an awesome job of building a huge boardwalk. Please keep it nice and do not spray paint all over it find something more intelligent to do. Theres also a great workout station with pull up bar, sit up bench, and balance beam. Blackberry plants growing everywhere here, the thorny vines with the white-light pink flowers.

Pretty cool place to walk! I see some of the reviews have pictures of the shore. When I went, we only found one way to the shore. When we jumped down, we had no issue. Im only 53 and I had a hard time getting back up. The walk was up to my chest. I ended up bruising my arm pretty bad trying to get back up. There may have been another way, but we didnt see it. There used to be steps there but they must have been removed and the section wasnt blocked off.

Lately, there has been a lot of graffiti and unsavory type of people crowding these nice walkways. They even spray paint in broad daylight. Also, a lot of the nature and trees were washed away by Hurricane Sally and construction work.

Cleaned often. Boardwalk goes down the bluffs with a trail leading down to the water. Amazing views and live oaks. Bring some water and snacks and you are guaranteed an adventure. If you follow the boardwalk all the way to the other parking lot and return you will get great cardio just by walking.Ive caught lots of red drum and speckled trout out this way. Sunsets and sunrises are always so beautiful over the water. The greatest part about the place is that it is free

Great walking boardwalk. There are lots of stairs so not accessible for those with mobility challenges. Also no steps from boardwalk down to actual waterside, I had to climb over the railing to go down to the water. Great views of the bay and nature! The Pensacola Bay Bluffs Park & Nature Preserve features red clay Bay Bluffs that are a unique geological feature in Florida. The bluffs represent the highest point along the entire coastline of Florida! Local insider tip: after you hike the boardwalk, get off and go hike the nature trails to get up close to the bluff cliffs.

Some graffiti and I think a sign should be posted to put on a mask when approaching other park guests on the narrow walkways for covid-19 precautions. Otherwise, really nice but would recommend bringing some pepper spray since it is a wooded area and could attract some sketchiness.

Nice family activity! The walk is not too difficult and there is a lot to look at. Unfortunately, some people feel the need to write all over the boardwalks railings, but it is still a beautiful walk. The walk is fairly kid friendly, but NOT stroller friendly due to the stairs and narrow boardwalk. The beach is hard to get to though because you have to leave the boardwalk.

The location is beautiful, but make sure you dont visit at night. I came out to walk some trails and take photos of nature, but ended up getting more than I bargained for. Would not recommend visiting here alone. If you do visit alone, you should bring pepper spray with you to be safe.Saw several tents of homeless people in the wooded area. Also ran into some shady individuals while on the trails. Beautiful location, but treat with caution if youre alone.Check out some of the photos I was able to capture while visiting.

I absolutely love it! The view is beautiful and so serene. Its quiet and lonely. There are others on the trail, but not enough to get in the way or make it uncomfortable. Its not for running, the pier is too soft for that unless your shoes are highly treaded. Still, there are a lot of steps and turns. It will still give you a great workout it thats what youre looking for, even if you just walk!

Very cool boardwalk! There are a good amount of steps and it doesnt lead directly to the water, you will have to walk off trail a bit to get to the water. You have the option to stay on the boardwalk the whole way or walk man made trails through the woods of youd like. There are two different parking lots so you can backtrack the trail or follow the road back a short difference. I would definitely come back!

Very nice walking trails. Beautiful scenery here. Parents can let their children run loose as there is only one trail. I gave it only 4 stars because of all the graffiti. The graffiti needs to be painted over or erased as it distracts from the reason of being in nature.

The boardwalks could be better maintained but are sturdy. The railroad tracks provide a nice setting for photos, and the beach has the same white sand as the rest of the Pensacola area. The graffiti on the boardwalks can be vulgar at times but overall reflects the culture of the area.

I havent been to Bay Bluffs Park in years, but I just took my daughter there to do pictures. I was so saddened by how run down it has become. The stairs have been removed to get off the walkway at the bottom, theres a lot of graffiti some of which has just been randomly painted over with random colors, some areas have been repaired with new wood and some are still rotten. I used to love going here as a kid and would love to see some improvements made.
