A truly great man who loved his country, even with all of its faults. He even served in 2 wars for his country. I believe all people should follow his example. Stop complaining about America’s faults, and start taking advantage of this beautiful free country we live in.

This is a really cool place and Im glad the money has been invested to preserve this piece of history. Theres plenty of free parking in the lot in the back. Theyre only open certain days but I highly suggest checking it out. A very cool piece of Pensacola history. Thank you.

My nephews, Nicko & Donte really enjoyed learning about General Daniel Chappie James. What a fantastic legacy Gen. James left for young black males to have right in their hometown of Pensacola. My mom and I garnered a lot of new information about Gen. James from our visit as well. Seeing Chappies First Steps reminded me of being a young girl growing up in Pensacola and wondering what the landmark meant. Gen. Chappie James was a true American Hero.

Chappie James is a true American Hero. A Tuskegee Airman. The first black Four Star General. A Pensacola native.

Very nice. As a mentor, Ive witnessed very good organization on behalf of the staff, so Im hoping we can keep up the good work and improve upon our shortcomings. Perfect for children that are interested in not just in aviation, but in a better chance at a good career in the near future.
