Great trail to get the legs stretched and take the dogs. Dogs must be on leash but great vegetation and beach views.
Beautiful place to hike! And so much fun! I would recommend hiking when it is dry though, my friends and I went right after a rain and the puddles were ridiculously large - there was no jumping over them. Wading might be a better term, if not a bit exaggerated. We thought they were adventurous. And in one place there was a swarm of mosquitoes we outran. We went again when it was dry and it was perfect. There is access to Perdido Bay on a long beach (I dont think its for swimming) - the water was cool and we could see small crabs burrowing into holes beneath the water. I would definitely go again. Park at the Tarkiln Bayou State Parking on Bauer Rd.
Super peaceful place to take a hike all kind of birds and small animals
