The dog park is nice and tucked away, there is a large, very long area for large dogs and a separate gated area for small dogs that is being redone at the moment. The dog park are is all tan bark, there are a few chairs to sit in and available water for the dogs. It is never too crowded, its a wonderful place for a happy, well behaved dog. :)

Nice open spaces with towering trees for shade, if youre looking for a place to have a picnic while socially distancing. The playground is closed for now, but that probably helps keep the number of people down.

Nice medium sized park in residential palo alto. Tennis courts are the highlight of the park, well maintained. Large lawns to hang out on, shaded by trees. Picnic tables in relative shade, two soccer stationed next to each other so you’d have to drag on a ways to actually play. Basketball court, bike racks, playground area for the kids. Theres also a little fenced off area specifically for dogs to run around. Nice park!

Great local park with plenty of street parking, as it doesnt get too busy, public restrooms, and lots of play structures: tots and older kids are separated with sand pits. Huge soccer field, as well as tennis and basketball courts are available.

If you have a toddler who is capable of climbing up the tall structures at the back, be aware of there is a rock climbing wall connecting both structures without side barrier. This is a really fun wall for older kids, but once my active 2yo walked onto it without me realizing it existed (I was behind another structure chatting) and I barely reached up to hold her hand to walk across safely.

This is a wonderful park to take your kids too since theres a playground set with swings. Theres also a dog park to take your pup as well! The park is really clean and well-maintained with a huge grass field to run around. I saw some bbq grills as well as public tables, so I imagine this park would also be a nice place to have a picnic. There are also restrooms located near the stream.

Great park! There is a large park for bigger kids and a smaller area for babies as well as two separate sets of swings. There’s also two separate dog parks for small and large dogs. This is a large park with tennis courts, basketball court, and a large grassy area for soccer. I’ve been coming to this park since I was a kid, now my kids get to come here!

Peers Park has a nice playground for kids with sand, swings, and two play structures. There are more spinning toys here than at the average park. The playground isnt enclosed, but its not close to the road. Its also very close to the train tracks, so youll probably see a couple of trains go by!

Lovely neighborhood park, with a big soccer field, tennis courts, basketball court, and a good-sized modern playground shaded by large old tulip poplars. The playground has some nice touches including some spinning seats/platforms and lots of sand. Because of the local demographics, there are often more nannies than parents accompanying the kids. The park has pretty good restrooms and water fountains. And best of all, its right next to Caltrain so train-obsessed youngsters (and the occasional oldster) can watch them go by.

Great for children of all ages. Lots of playground equipment to choose from. Large lawn for sports, separate tennis courts and basketball court. Restrooms are available. Playground is sand and soft surface. Better than Jerry Bowden park for older kids. But my 3-year and 5-year olds loved it. Lots of street parking, but easier bike access from N. California Ave or Churchill via Park.
