A nice garden to look at some flower beds and do a photo session with family. They also have a party area which you can rent and host outdoor gatherings. The area is big enough to maintain social distancing and small enough that you wont be able to invite too many!!

Beautiful spot for a peaceful wander and a picnic at the picnic tables. Note the tables are very long so ideal for eating with friends while social distancing. There were at least 12 photographers there when we were there a month ago in October 2020. They were taking photos of families, couples and professional shots of individuals and its because its very beautiful and free to park and enter. However usually its only 1-2 photographers. Ive seen people get wedding shots here too. Its small so likely you wont spend more than 45 mins there.

The Elizabeth Gamble gardens, donated by the Gamble family of Procter and Gamble renown, are a splendid community center piece in suburban Palo Alto. Flowering plants, vegetables and trees around.. The beauty is.in the details. My favorite part is the cool,. covered brick patio that houses this potted ferns.

There was a time that I struggled to with my focus and then I stumbled across this garden. I began to use this place as my study area after school. The Garden is a wonderful and peaceful place to be able to concentrate. Even if you just want to relax, walk around or use it as a photo shoot you can do it. Wonderful and beautiful garden. :-) Thumbs up.

This is a cute place. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because they roped off all the benches and seating so you cant actually sit and enjoy the flowers. Otherwise its a nice place.

Stunning garden with thousands of species of plants. Beautiful area to sit, watch birds, or have a picnic. There are a couple of stunning fountains, a nice house, and lots of plants. The succulent department could use a lot of work though. 8/10 would recommend to a friend.

This my favorite garden in south bay. The area is in a nice neighborhood and the garden is well maintained. Lots of colorful and beautiful flowers during spring and summer, attracting many people around the town. Its operated by donations and they have a donation box inside the garden for those who would like to keep it blooming.

Large gardens in residential old palo alto. Its truly a magnificent garden, beautifully cared for. There are a few sections to it. Theres kind of a meditation garden near the entrance, with not to many flowers. Then the main gardens are on the other side of the historic gamble house. I don’t have words for how beautiful it was, going in late may everything was in full bloom. Truly a special place. Some plants are available to buy as well. The historic house is worth seeing as well. Great architecture and interior design. A hidden gem of the city.

I visit your place with my family, because this place figure as botanical park on lot of guides. We arrive to the place where no one receive us, we walk between lot of flowers without specification and lot of bees. This place could be a great place with a guide or for someone that love flowers, but could not be in a tourist agenda, familiar agenda or something similar. We cannot stay more than 5 minutes in this place. We cannot find a place to sit or to go bathroom. Sorry, but was a bad experience for us... Maybe as we doesnt know the place before, we miss something, but I need to evaluate what we see. I will change my opinion, because actually I was a little bit hard... but anyway I could not recommend this place for tourists.

A lovingly maintained English-syle garden in the heart of Palo Alto. Something is always in spectacular bloom providing opportunities for photography. The garden has been separated into distinct outdoor spaces or rooms with a unique theme - rose garden, veggie garden, sundial and walkway etc. are all lovely. This is a beautiful garden. I only had a half hour, so I want to go back. Beds of daffodils and tulips blooming when I went, along with camellias, foxglove, freesia, and a lot of flowers I dont know. Wisteria was just starting to bud. The garden is broken up into rooms or areas, each with their own theme or purpose. The garden is free and open during daylight hours. You can book events there like weddings and parties. They can use volunteers, so if you love to garden it might be a good fit for you. They sell some plants also. There are 2 small parking lots, one off embarcadero and the 2nd on the other side of the block.

Visited during the yearly Garden Tour, the Gambles fundraising event: it was a gorgeous sunny day, which showcased the well maintained and cared for Gambles own garden grounds. The event was impecably organized with a station to welcome guests, silent auction, vendors displays, quality plants sale, garden garage sale, estate sale with incredible finds, hospitality table with ice tea and homebaked cookies, with live flower vase arrangements throughout. My only disappointment was the price of the food: $18 for a boxed sandwich and handful of salad, advertised as gourmet, but far from it. The Gamble garden is open year round and I highly recommend it for a quick stop, as personal pictures background or to sit and read a book.

This garden is a gem in Palo Alto. The flowers are beautiful and there are several little nooks and crannies where you can sit and enjoy the peace.
