Cute little Mediterranean Villa with a nice courtyard and close to downtown Palm Springs. The room was nice. I didnt access much of the amenities (pool, spa) because of weather but it was helpful to have a washer and dryer to use, albeit coin-op. Maid service was on point. All entrance gates to the facility have coded locks for security. My biggest complaint is the spotty WiFi and snowy cable TV, but they were working on upgrades during my stay.

Vintage but not run down hotel, we would definitely stay again. Quiet, cozy, and reasonably priced. Rooms built around two courtyards, one with an artificial stream. Secure - access from the street requires a key or walking through office. Fountains, plants and flowers, orange trees in bloom. Accomodating and responsive manager lives onsite. King room was nice with fully equipped kitchen and two full baths. Walk to 7-11, coffee shop, fast food, and full service restaurants Ricks and Billy Reeds.

Tried this place out with a group of friends for Indian wells tennis tournament and thought it was great looking. But it all ended there when we arrived. One room smelled like bleach, the other room smelled like curry and the third had roaches the size of my 5.5 inch iphone screen. Super disgusting couch that I wouldnt sit on, let alone sleep on it. The bed was something I didnt want to think about. Instead we got a tent from Walmart to isolate the roaches when I sleep. Do Not stay here under any circumstances!! Also dont forget that fine print! Seems like to blow dry your hair alone will cost you 45$!

Resort is not an accurate word. Unless it is used in the following context: I stayed at the Mediteraneo in Palm Springs as a LAST RESORT. What a pit. The pictures are misleading. This motel came complete with: a) weird dude in the lobby; b) strange green, algae-filled pond, (that would have been malaria filled if it wasnt California); and c) a billiards table situated outdoors, on a significant slope. The rooms were horrific. They hooked us (Coachella time period), and were fine when we just plain left. No refund, but at least my skin remains free from insect bites.

The hotel/ property manager was pretty rude. Im United States Marine and he told me he didnt trust me so he would be checking on me because of problems he had in the past. I tried explaining he wouldnt have any problems but he still invaded my privacy and open my room door because he wanted to check on me. He was rude to a paying customer for no reason at all. The hotel was actually pretty nice though.

If I could I would leave negative stars. The service was horrible. There was stains on everything from towels to bed sheets and furniture. There was roaches everywhere. Inside and outside. Half of the amenities didnt work, the ac was broken, there was a decorative lamp above the bathroom mirror with no light switch to turn it on. Theres about 30 outlets per room, only 1 or 2 were working. They wouldnt change our room even after we killed a cockroach in there and told us that if they had to clean the room it would be an extra expense for them. Even though we only showered in the room. The manager also told us the cockroaches were normal in the desert. I live in Phoenix. NO NOT NORMAL. We had a total of 4 rooms, and they all smelled horrible. Save your money and sleep in your car. Or book something else.

This place wasnt the best but it was relaxing. Was hesitant after reading all the bad reviews. The place is a cute little hotel from the 50s thats been remodeled. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with the kitchen. Cute and clean room but the furniture in the living is from the 80s and the couch looked to have stains all over it. Kitchen has been newly remodeled. The bedroom looked new. The bathroom has been remodeled partially....no sink space if you plan to do makeup and hair. The deal breaker for us on this place was the bed. So hard and uncomfortable. Terrible. The pool area was nice. With the exception of old and stained chair cushions we loved the pool. They have two pools and one is cleaner than the other. A lot of ghetto people at this hotel who play ghetto music...drink at the pool all night and then trash the pool area with beer bottles and cups and expect someone to pick up after them. Just sad. We liked swimming night when no ghetto people were there. It wasnt a bad experience but because of the bed we will not be back.

This would be such a nice place to stay at but whatever you do be sure to tell then you want a too towards the front office. Other wise you are left with no WiFi connection and for anyone needing WiFi go make calls you are SOL.

Within a few hours of checking in and after being in our room we went out to eat. When we came back to our room all of our valuables and clothes were gone!!! the manager seem to be in disbelief and acted hostile instead of being helpful. Pretended he was making a police report and have cops come asses the issue...after and hour of waiting i went to check and after feeling really uncomfortable with this whole experience we decided to go home. We had a terrible experience and to think we thought the place was adorable except they have terrible staff and costumer service and apparently employs thieves. Thanks for ruining our lives basically all our work is gone and our equipment.

I am completely disgusted with this so called resort. The pictures online are very misleading. The bed was disgusting with spots that look like blood, the towels had spots on them the upkeep on the landscaping is horrendous, huge stains on the pool furniture the outside looks horrible. This place should be shut down or At least be forced to put accurate pictures on their website. My skin was crawling when I left. The Mediterranneo Resort should be ashamed of themselves. Please never stay here if you care about cleanliness.

A beautiful property on the outside but the rooms are dated. Some parts have been lightly remodeled/spruced up but the TVs and most of the furniture are straight out of the 80s. Also, theres a coffee maker but my room had no complimentary coffee. The kitchen is very small and the appliances are mini-sized. A room with a kitchen will usually have salt and pepper packets or those little thimble-sized disposable shakers. None here. These are little things but they add up. Not a terrible place but I wouldnt stay again if I had other options in this price range.

My family of 4 decided to stay here. We booked the 2 bedroom suite - which I suggest NO ONE reserve. I dont believe many stay in there as the cleanliness was poor, and it seemed to be the only room not been updated yet. During half of our visit we experienced heavy rain California long needed. A horrible leak, no, a faucet of water came through the ceiling in the living area. It looked like the ceiling had been previously patched but not actually fixed. How crazy. I must say the manager Manny was very accommodating and willing to help any way he could. He offered us the one bedroom suite to sleep in for the remainder of our stay. This room had more modern furnishing, and was better cleaned and tidied than the previous. Although moving all of our belongings was a hassle we were grateful for the relocation having no leaks. The resort overall is average. The manager Manny is kind. There is a lot of potential but is in need of serious TLC. I also want to note that the restaurant is currentry under construction. We will not stay here again, but I believe if you are coming for a short visit this place may do the trick since it is near convenient shops and grocers, and just a short drive to the downtown area.

Its a place to stay if you arent staying long. Was there for Coachella second weekend (4.20-4.23). The towels were dirty. The first two sets had makeup or something like that on them. Then on the second night there was a cockroach in the bathroom that eventually died. The place was also not very clean when we first got there. One and done for that place.

Booked a room with groupon. Super deceiving. The pictures presented are misleading. We got to the hotel and the manager was super rude. We specifically went there with our kid for the restaurant being on site but it was closed. Got to our room and it had a Murphy bed. We couldnt even sit on the poolside furniture because of the mold all over it. When we finally checked out, we were charged a regular visit price. I argued that I had booked the room with a groupon and they would not honor it. Worst..worst hotel experience of our lives. It should be closed down!!

The price and location for a 5 star review. You can walk to all the restaurants and night life or Uber for a couple dollars if your lazy. They have old fashion keys to the rooms. If your looking for a place thats affordable unique and charming this is your place. They have 2 clean pools and Jacuzzis plenty of parking. Our room was #20 and it was cozy for my family of 4. Me and wife had the bed and my girls had the pull out couch. Theres a small kitchen and small tvs. For the price its a steal and the money we are saving we splurge at the expensive restraunts Compared to our other hotels in the area We will come back because its close to LA and we feel we have a cool place of our own

The two staff that my family of 5 dealt with during our one week stay was good. However, we had a number of issues with the two-bedroom suite we reserved. Issues ranged from poor housekeeping during our stay (we had to ask for a vacuum our first night to remove dust and dirt from around the beds), the outside sitting area was covered in cobwebs and dirty (and never cleaned up), the kitchen was not equipped for 5 people and dishes that were provided had to be cleaned before using, the front burner did not work, the middle of the stove was constantly scalding hot and burnt someones hand and I later found out that they were aware of the situation and did nothing about it, water sprayed out of the kitchen tape when washing dishes, no t.v. remote for part of the stay (we had to take from another room), top frame of the sofa bed was broken so front of bed fell in, wifi was at times unavailable and/or very slow, no soundproofing in the main bedroom (could hear front desk staff speaking with guests, even at 2am when a guest misplaced his room key), the outside barbeques were rusty and unusable, shelves in the bathroom had water stains and looked dirty so we covered with towels, air conditioning unit was very noisy especially at night. We worked with the on-site property manager to make our stay better. Once home I contacted the owner by email noting the above issues, and asking for a one or two night refund. His response was incredibly rude and he was unwilling to consider any compensation. I was shocked at how rude and unprofessional his response was. Its location is close to downtown Palm Springs and the pool area is nice.
