My wife and I went to Palm Springs for my nephews wedding. Those kind of affairs tend to have large quantity of alcohol consumed. So we decided to rent a condo for the night and drive home the next day. The wedding was great and the condo came in very handy. I drank plenty of good champagne. Too much to drive. Luckily my wife was the designated driver. The condo was very spacious and well-appointed. I would gladly stay there again.

Nice place people upstairs walk very loud. Place is nice. Hot tub and pool 20 ft away.

The Desert Isle Resort in Palm Springs is a wonderful and quiet place to enjoy peace and solitude.The resort is well maintained with two nice pools that we enjoyed daily . The grounds are well kept and there are more than 200 Palm trees on site . A full service restaurant and bakery is on site. There is a laundry room on site. Overall we found no issues to speak off and consider this as one of our top resorts that we have stayed.

Wonderfully friendly check in staff!! The grounds and pool are well kept and beautiful. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean. Inside the rooms could use some love however...just some paint chipping on bedroom and bathroom doors, etc. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again and again!

Slightly outdated, but very nice rooms. Super clean, but: no propane for BBQ and igniter doesnt work. Sprinkler is on and wetting down BBQ and patio at 530pm, fireplace doesnt work....

Early March trip and the property was not overcrowded. Pools were accessible when we wanted to get in. It was quiet - didnt notice any kids. Front desk person was very helpful and informative upon check-in and check-out was a breeze. 2 bathrooms in our 1-bedroom, full kitchen, and a deck with a grill, table and lounge chairs. A/C wouldnt go below 70, but there were 2 ceiling fans with remotes.

Clean and complete suites. Excellent spot for a group getaway. Lovely grounds and pool.

Arrived at 10am to see what time we would be able to check in. The lady at the counter was talking for about 10 minutes to another worker in back befor acknowledging us. She greeted us with Yes. After asking she said i am nit rushing a room and early check in are a thng of the past. Rude tome and unapologetic. Then she said Oh tou boome on hotels.com room for sure nit ready until 4pm. She never asked us our name nor did i ask to rush a room. Just eanted an approx time. Started my trip on sour note. Came back after 4pm a man checked us in said room was ready a while ago why did we not check. Said that lady over waz rude and told us no. She had no apologies and said i thought you were joking. Checked in nice condo. Went to shower that nigjt No hot water. Was told to shower in unit 27. In the morning g asked if hot water would be fixed she said didnt you move to 27. I said not man gabe us key to 27 gave it back to him when done. She said oh. No apologies and said will send engineering. 2 hours not water while fixing with new wAter heater. Done.....no follow up call to see if working. Adked for manager she said nit there on vacAtion. Nice plave bad service from desk lady.

It was nice. Kind of Cozy. Not many amenities. But its nice

Our room was perfect for 3 people and while the showers needed upgrading- we loved the steam shower and the strong pressure. We were on the upper level and it was quiet. Very happy with the hotel and would stay there again - even tho it could use some new furniture.

We were very impressed and satisfied with this property. It is much more than a hotel room. It is more like a condo. We had a standard living room, kitchen, king bedroom, 2 bathrooms, private patio with grill, right next to the heated swimming pool and spa. Next door is the Manhattan Restaurant where we had 2 fine dinners, and they have breakfast & lunch. Highly recommend.

Great location. Large living area. Quite dark even when you open the blinds. need lights on in living and bedroom during the day. Very clean, and well stocked. Stayed 5 nights and did not have to request anything. Enjoyed the patio area, as well as the swimming pool. Stayed end of Feb and beginning of March. The pool was really warm you could stay in and enjoy and not get cold. Found Queen bed to be very uncomfortable. We both kept rolling into the middle on top of each other.Loved the mist shower. If we were to go back in Feb, we probably would stay here for the warmth of the pool. Decor reminded you of a 70 vibe. All furniture and rug were very clean. Close to eating, mall, and hiking. Found it to be Great value for the price. Though please replace the bedroom mattress.

A favorite place to stay in palm springs. It is a great location.Condo is fully furnished with a full kitchen. Flat screen tvs in living room and bedroom.Covered parking is provided.Property is well maintained. Very nice pool area.

GOOD FOR FAMILIES WITH KIDSVery peaceful and quiet, private place. Is basically a one bedroom apartment with a good size living room and tv. Youll get a very generous size closet where you will find a dresser, a rollover bed. You will also get a sofa bed, a bathroom, full kitchen, small dining room and then the bedroom with its own bathroom and other two good size closets and a couple more dressers. Parking under shade.You can have access to swimming pool (small), ping pong tables, tennis courts. Some other amenities (close for now due to virus): sauna, fitness center, jacuzzi. You are at walking distance of Walgreens drug store, tj max, Ralphs and many more. I recommend this place.

Great property, unit was spacious and well equipped, pool and spa were clean and comfortably heated. Loved the fact that the front desk offers free grapefruit (all you can carry) from their 10 mature trees during season - we had a hand juicer in our unit and enjoyed fresh squeezed grapefruit juice!

Very nice spacious rooms. We walked to our restaurant and to a shopping center. If the weather had been nicer we would have enjoyed the pools.

It was perfect for our 10 day vaca to relax. It was walking distance to the grocery store and having our own bbq made it great for cooking our own meals. We will definitely be back.

The room was very spacious. There was an Eden kitchen and a living room plus a bedroom. They were two tennis courts. It was an excellent restaurant on the premises.

Checkin and check out was easy and friendly. Our room was pretty good. There was a small issue with the lights and we found it extra dark room. There was lots of cooking and kitchen supplies.

This is an amazing property for the price. These are actually condos. Ours was 1,000 sq feet, with two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a fireplace, and two TVs. The staff was amazing, and the property was immaculate and quiet.

Stayed for 1 night. Wanted to stay downtown area but booked last minute booking only left the expensive hotels available. Didn’t want to spend much just for place to sleep. This is ok for the price. It’s more of a condo unit. We got a 2nd floor unit which requires you to carry your luggages up a flight of stairs. King bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Spacious units and good amenities. Pleasant, friendly staffs. Only downside is you feel you’re living in an old house. Even has the “old smell”.

Nice place. Peaceful, clean grounds and nice resort. Pool area can use upgrades of some lounge chairs, many are broken. Fitness center and laundry nice to have on site. Not many children around during our stay.

Very comfortable roomy 1 bedroom villa. Great location right across the street from shopping center, but quiet, private environment. Very friendly staff. Family friendly.

Loved it! But shower did not drain fast enough and housecleaning did not return later, even if my do not disturb was on. A little noise from above me, can hear walking, talking etc. One of the Jacuzzis seemed a little dirty, so I went to the larger one. But the villa was beautiful and the staff was great!

We loved desert isles and really enjoyed our stay. It isnt a hotel so doesnt have all the services you would expect for a hotel but had great facilities, friendly and helpful staff.

Suites are like condos. Living room with fireplace, full kitchen and two bathrooms. Bedroom was nicely sized with a king sized bed.

Rooms are a bit dated, but very large and clean. These are small condos with two bath rooms, kitchenette, large patio area, and well equipped with wifi and every thing you will need. Highly recommend for any extended stay.

Omg, condo had barbecue in our patio with lounge chairs, kitchen fully equipped to cook, heated pool and of.course Jacuzzi, ou room was immaculately clean and the front desk people were very helpful and nice. You wont go wrong here. Now in the summertime Im sure you going to have lots of families and children FYI but this month of October was very peaceful and quiet

This is a great place to stay. They were very accommodating when we arrived late and had everything in order for us. It has a fully stocked kitchen and even complimentary dishwasher soap and dish soap. There is a steam shower in the master bedroom that was amazing. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was enjoyable and clean. There were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. There were also plenty of towels. It was a very enjoyable stay with very little to complain about. I did find a dead cockroach, but that is really the only problem.

Stayed here a week, but was not impressed. Had bugs on the kitchen counter and wall, given a can of bug spray to take care of it ourselves. No organized activities or real amenities. Hard to figure out why they call it a resort. Pool and jacuzzi were just ok, but the weather was so hot, it was hard to enjoy either.Housekeeping and maintenance people were decent.We would not stay here again.

First class resort. Great accomodations and the weather is perfect.

Rooms are updated and comfortable to be in. I love that we get our own patio space. The heated pool is nice and located right next to the jacuzzi. Their fitness center is pretty outdated. The equipment is rusty and some of the cable machines shouldnt even be in that room due to its lack of maintenance. Overall, if you like to keep to yourself and not need much room service/cleaning, then youll enjoy your stay. We definitely are an independent family and didnt need much other than figuring out the wifi.

Wish I could give this resort more than 5 stars! We’ve already made plans to come back next year. Offers more amenities than other resorts we’ve stayed at in this area. Beautiful views of mountains. Excellent housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk staff. Beds & pillows very comfy. Spacious condo with 2 full baths. Full kitchen. Close to shopping. Lots of areas to walk. Quiet & private setting. I can’t express how great we think this resort is. Wish I could stay another few weeks

I’ve stayed here twice! Friendly service, easy access to the main town, and a decent (but not hot enough) jacuzzi made this place a great stay both times. They also have free tennis courts to play at and ping pong tables which is fun for times when foul weather dashes your chances of a Palm Springs promenade.

Great modern room. Great location! Staff is friendly.They are very strict on making sure you leave by 11am.

We have been here twice now and love the accommodations, large rooms, pretty quiet and close to lots of places. They really arent very hotelish though in what they provide. When we asked for an extra coffee for our room because we had 4 adults(we had a two bedroom suite) we were advised they only provided one package of coffee per stay essentially, you had to walk to the lobby to get a cup of coffee if you wanted more. Also witnessed absolutely terrible customer service when another guest was asking about where they could go to just walk around and maybe get some food. The desk person had no answer and was completely unhelpful or even nice. Even though its about 5 min from downtown palm springs with tons of shopping and restaurants, they didnt let the guests know that much basic information. Over all I like the place and will stay again most likely, but with a bit of focus on hospitality this place could be amazing.

Beautiful resort! Friendly staff, 24 hour pool and hot tub. Location is a little odd although it is fairly central. Lovely property and the room is more like a full condo. Steam shower is amazing!

The resort was very exciting to be at and relaxing as well. I will definitely be back next month and in the fall season!!!

Rooms are nice and clean, though the TV arent in front of the sofa. But I didnt come here to watch TV, but it still would have been nice. Steam room is an amazingly nice touch. Very friendly staff. Would stay again.

Loved this resort. We were in a 1 bed villa, open plan kitchen-dining-lounge with access to outdoor patio, 2 bathrooms. Very well equipped, everything you can think of you need for self catering and more. It is in a quieter area of Palm Springs but dining and shopping options plentiful nearby.

The service here was pretty good. The amenities were also pretty good. We stayed as part of a time share, so we didnt receive daily housekeeping. The pool was pretty good, but there were some grumpy old ladies who scowled at my kids for being kids in the pool.

The hotel was in a good area, the room was well kept and had plenty of space. The beds were not very comfortable though, the balcony was huge and had a grill which was nice. The biggest complaint I have is the shower water pressure. It would be fine when you first get in, then would completely go away and you had to try and adjust the water to get some pressure back. That part was awful for being there for almost a week and not being able to have a good shower. Other than that it was great, and the front desk gentleman was very nice.

My stay at the hotel wasnt so great. We had to wait 3 hours from our check in time because our room cleaners were at lunch(they shouldve cleaned it before going to lunch). Some of our lights werent working, the parking was confusing, the stairs looked really old and creaked. The front desk seemed really tired and looked like they didnt want to work. A suggestion for the hotel would be a check up on the rooms, quality improvements, friendlier employees, and better cleaning services. The good parts were the prices, sizes of the room, and quiet environment.

Did not look like much from the front, but the rooms and pool are great.was well worth it. real close to some shopping and restaurants.

Staff was friendly and attentive. The upstairs bedroom of our two bedroom unit needed repair (cracked caulking) and cleaning (mildew in the shower and skylight). Ive been an owner for quite a few years and this is as bad as Ive ever seen it.

Bigger living area for family of 4. Very comfortable, very clean. Definitely my first choice when coming back to visit the area.

Desert Isle Resort is one of the best places to stay when visiting Palm Springs. We have come her every year for the past several years. Always beautiful and close to both Downtown Palm Springs and Cathedral City. Excellent place to go to visit shops and find hidden treasures in the many vintage stores. The staff is increadible, we would like to give a shout out to our good friend Trenton. He always makes our stay something specials.

For not much more than a hotel room we had a 1 bedroom 2 bath unit. very nice for extended stay

Very quiet and close to everything

My wife and I came out for a week. We love the upgraded rooms. Two bathroom s with steam shower. Each room has a private grill. Plus there is a dry sauna, multiple pools and Jaccuzi nearby. The location is perfect and the staff are responsive and caring. Everything was clean and in good order. Definately looking to come back!

Sooooo... I have Some things to say about this property... So, the checking in was not bad, it was fast and pretty accurate. BUT~! When I went to the room, both bathroom had broken door frame and they didnt close. So, I went to the front desk agents, and told them what was wrong with my room. Guess what their answer was... LOL, Omg That literally made me mad so bad... without even saying sorry, There is no one to fix that problem right now. and I said Then do you have any room with better condition?, No we are 100% booked, so I cant do anything for you. WOW~~~ Im a front desk manager and if I get 100% booked and if your guests face some problems, I do my best to fix that problem after I say I really apologize about that trouble But these guys were just saying and it sounded like (I know maybe Im over thinking) I cant do anything for you because you are an Asian. And the guy who kinda felt like he was the GM said Why do you even need a bathroom door to be close?? LOL OMG~! LMAO!! I wanna ask you all, Why do you need your bathroom door to be close?? Holy Cow~ Was it a really question that he wanted me to answer?? And My Fiance stood up for me and said, Uhh because you need your own privacy ofc? (She is a Caucasian, White American) And he finally said Oh Im sorry, I think I can give you one room, but it wont have as pretty Patio as yours room. and we both said its okay, we want to change our room. Guys, What do you think? Well we finally changed our room cuz the second room had better bathroom doors. This Experience was Horrible for us. The rudeness from the Guy made our night horrible and terrible. Thanks to him :)
