Dingy, unrefined, and consistently disappointing. Staff is untrained and on more than once occasion gave such bad instructions that they had to come back into the room and correct their error. The Room components have been worn past their usefulness. Key markings have been worn off or are so faint and so inconsistent that the staff has to come in and explain what the prop used to look like.Themes are fun and the rooms do have some exciting and unique moments, but twice now have left disappointed because of poor quality control.

Ive been through probably 15 escape rooms, and have escaped everytime. At least 4 of the rooms have been at House of Conundrum. Unfortunately, it seems like Im never satisfied when I leave. Weve had mechanical issues with a few of the rooms, where we knew what to do, but the puzzle didnt work like it was supposed to mechanically. The Star Trek room was a very cool theme and had unique puzzles! I would probably give that room 5 stars, but the others are sitting at 3 for me. I need more creative puzzles. When I think of an escape room, I dont think of have four 4-digit locks in the same room. Add some variety. If Im paying a premium, I want a premium experience. Sorry, I want to like it, and I kept going back, but I think Ive felt disappointed enough to try another place in Omaha.

I had a blast! Over thinking is what I do, so I have NO shame asking for that hint to help. Once, my buddy and I got our thinking on the right track we just needed to trust in each others abilities to do what we do. This is a good FIRST DATE IDEA, really gives one perspective whether or not to date the person. I would definitely take my first dates here It was awesome showing my buddy that girls know how to open safes too, LMFAFO! The best part of it ALL was that WE solved it I reccomend this to anyone wanting to have a fun time using the brain. The employees have patience and will not make you regret asking for help (even if a little lock is besting Me..LMFAFO THANK YOU. The struggle is very real) I believe we were the last group to go so parking wasnt an issue, but finding it was, because ones ways (not from area). I called explained we would be late and the employee was really nice and said it would be ok. I do think it is a little on the expensive side, my buddy had to paid (Go CHIEFS!) so I didnt pay attention to price of it. I took pictures because the door is cleverly hiding in the big sticker and I, almost, walked past it Oh, and on the ground floor below the conundrum house, is I believe axe throwing, walked in there first...if you dont solve your room take your frustrations out throwing sharp objects

All around a great time. Puzzles were fun and challenging. The staff was amazing. We made it out of Sherlock Holmes with 3 minutes to spare, we will definitely be back to try some of the other rooms!

Good service, fun room, only thing I wouldve changed was picking a harder room! Had a blast but wish I knew about parking sooner, lot is easy to miss.

Great fun! Been through 3 rooms and they were all unique. Each time has been differing levels of difficulty and puzzle variation was spectacular. Staff is always pleasant and pretty cool. Cheese factor keeps things interesting.

Did as a family and we all had a blast. Our grandsons were able to participate as much as the adults!

I had fun here, it was my first time doing an escape room. I was thinking all the clues would relate to the theme...I was wrong lol. It was worth the money

We had a great time at House of Conundrum! Four of us did the Tomb of Doom room and it was a fun challenge! The room has some unique puzzles to dinner, but seemed a little easy. However, it was well done with good overall ideas. We will be back for more with one of their more difficult rooms.

Tons of fun! Very enjoyable escape room experience. Being able to book online was fantastic. We drove from Lincoln and it was worth the trip!

Business is in old Omaha building (cool). Dedicated parking. We did the Sherlock room, staff were great. Clues are very reasonable. We are total novices and had lots of fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. They let us work through the whole thing. Definitely going back!

It was a great way for our friend group to celebrate a birthday. We had so much fun trying to beat the clock.

The room was well designed (Sherlock Holmes) and interesting but our operator was pretty bad. We had 4 people in a room designed for 6 so at about 30 minutes in we thought it would be fair to ask for a hint. I thought we would get a riddle or something but some guy just barged into the room and solved like 3 puzzles for us. He didnt just point out the solutions, he literally did one of them for us (the clapper puzzle).Overall, the room was already pretty bare as far as puzzles, and he solved almost a third of them when we only asked for a hint. Pretty much ruined the immersion and satisfaction of beating the room at all.

What a great time!!! I took my wife here for birthday and 8 friends. Did zombie apocalypse and she said it was best birthday present. Staff is great and lots of fun. Zombie was great and it was a real challenge. Will be back for sure!!!!

Great experience, fantastic staff!Attended for a birthday for a middle schooler. We didn’t two rooms - boys vs girls.Leagues (boys) vs Tomb (girls)Success rate for Tomb was very low, the girls asked for help a few times. It’s low lit and the girls were a bit confused initially, however the staff jumped in and really helped them through the experience when they asked. Yes, they made it out with 0:20 but in fairness, they received significant help.The boys in Leagues never asked for help until the very end - they were sunk because they inadvertently skipped clues and tried shortcutting the process, which in the end was their demise.I’d highly recommend House of Conundrum for parties BUT if it’s for kids, even middle-high school age (like we had), I’d have an adult in to help. What I’d love to see, is HOC add specific rooms designs for elementary-high school age!!️️️️️

Just completed our second room. The staff was great and the games were fun! We solved the one that had a 1% solve rate!

Its a nice escape room, and weve finished 3 of them. The staff is nice, too. I took away a star because their hours were not accurate. The last time we tried to visit, we arrived half an hour after their website said they would be open but nobody was there. This was last winter and was disappointing. Still, a fun activity if theyre open.

Went here for a work function and it was actually really fun the rooms are full of puzzles and clues and had a great time. The employees also came in the room and assisted myself and my co-workers the last couple minutes and prices are not to bad either. Great place for a family or get together event. As well as axe throwing is available as well. Definitely recommend.

I had a great time at the House of Conundrum. I have been to two other escape rooms and I honestly think this one is one of the best ones I have been too. The staff is very funny and kind. The rooms are very detailed and creative! I kind of wish the parking was a little easier but other than that it was amazing and I had a great time!

We did both the revolutionary war and 20000 leaks under the sea rooms. We had a ton of fun! I would say that those two rooms are made for smaller groups of people (it was just my husband and I and it was great) the rooms werent as technologically advanced as other places, but the puzzles were fun, and the staff was super nice.

Really good thematic rooms. Puzzles were challenging, but not as much creative variety. However, the rooms had incredibly rich stories around and in them... easy to get distracted in the story and miss escaping!

We did the Tomb of Doom room. Preface, we have done close to 30 escape rooms. I liked this room. The decor was themed great and the puzzle were real thinkers. If youre used to tech-filled rooms and thats what you like, you may not like these rooms. They are simple number and key locks, but the riddles were pretty good and decently complex. We got out with 15 minutes remaining (without using clues) but there were times we were really having to think through things and re read clues. I had a good time. Also the game master will enter your room if you need a clue, Im not a fan of it but the rest of the place was so great that I overlooked it. Overall, when coming back to Omaha, I will probably book again.

Owner was really nice,even gave my coworkers and I a whole tour of ALL of the rooms! Very fun and they will even help you along the way if you really need it.

I just did my first escape room ever at House of Conundrum on Saturday with my coworkers as a team building activity. It was such a blast that I made my family come back to do it with me for my birthday on Monday. The easier rooms are fun and just the right amount of challenging. I havent tried a harder room yet but I will soon. I plan on trying to do all of the rooms but not too fast because I dont want it to end! Also, the people who work there are wonderful!

We did an office team bonding event at the House of Conundrum and it was awesome! We used the Zombie Apocalypse room which everyone was able to fit in as it holds 15. The staff was very accommodating and it was easy to schedule in advance. The staff gave us a tour of the entire place after we completed the escape room so we were able to see what other options are available.I highly recommend this as a staff event and for anyone else!! We had so much fun and received nothing but positive feedback from our team.

Booked this as a part of my 12 year old daughter’s birthday party and they were wonderful! Girls had a blast and they even gave Mom a complimentary water while I waited. Clean and well decorated in a great location. Will definitely visit again :)

It was a good time and we so good about our lack of communication and skill to get out. But it was still a great time!

The room felt very small for even the five people who were in it, I cant imagine if we had the max number allowed. Ive been to several other escape rooms (granted some were not in Omaha) for the same price and they were much better quality. Staff was very friendly at House of Conundrum, but they were also unenthusiastic when it came to the actual game; definitely didnt get into character. When we won it was very underwhelming. We found the redcoat and an employee came in and said You won. And then we left. Overall, I would not recommend this escape room.

Fun event, great staff and puzzle. Fun things to do in the lobby whole you wait. Venue is up a bunch of stairs and there are a couple awkward steps but our group of 9 had lots of fun!

Had a great time, really fun experience for a group to do. We did Final Frontier and it was a blast for all the Star Trek fans.

John and his team are TOP NOTCH. I cant say anything bad about our experience. Did 20,000 and had never seen a similar room. Also every puzzle was one Id never seen before. My only suggestion would be a less intrusive way to give hints. Through the monitor would be easy with the right program. Still had a wonderful experience and Goes on my list of one of my favorite rooms!

Interesting and engaging! The waiting area has lots of puzzles and games to solve while waiting. Staff were pleasant and helpful and richly earned the tip our group left. Hint on parking: enter gated parking area off 26th & Leavenworth, just west of the building.

This was a fun afternoon! Our team made it out before time ran out and only had to have one hint. It is great for learning how to work as a team to accomplish something. It definitely shows that people have different strengths and ideas and those can be combined to make everyone successful.

The Tomb of Doom was awesome, perfect date night activity!

Just finished their newest room: night at the museum! Very thought out and interrelated. It’s definitely something you’ll want to check out. Bigger and (probably?) more involved than their other rooms. I can’t wait to come back and check out their other rooms!

This place is AMAZING! Ive been to escape rooms in other cities and this place is the best by far. The staff is great, the selection and quality of rooms is impressive. They even showed us a new room theyre building right now. Our group of 7 had a blast in the Sherlock Holmes room, well worth the almost whole hour it took us to solve it. Im definitely coming back to try the other rooms out!

Decent escape room. We may have done an easy room, but got out really fast. I would try a other room, but from only doing one it wasnt the worst or best escape room company Ive tried out.

This isnt a fair rating since ive only been there once. I was disappointed with the set. Several of the tasks werent reset and a few of the tasks were broken. Ill definitely give this place a second chance and Ill update my review then.

Great puzzles for the Batman Room! Really thought out and crafty. Have done many shapes and ideas for escape in many places and would highly recommend House of Conundrum. Tour afterwards makes me want to come back soon.

I never been participate this kind of game. I went with my team and we were given one hour to solve a problem, the first fifteen minute I was clueless but once we got some clue then it became more interesting and time was gone very fast. I recommend this place for the group activity to refresh their mind.

Really fun room! Dominick set up the room well and was able to accommodate our group when we accidentally showed up a week early. Nothing too fancy about the room we did, but it was still fun. Only one person was working, so it sometimes took a minute or two to get hints.

It was so easy to reserve a room at a time great for us. We found plenty of easy parking. The staff was WONDERFUL, patient, and helpful. I wish we lived here because this is so fun. We did Batman & Leaks because we got a discount. They were hard but fun!

Not great, but not bad either. We did the room with the Egyptian theme and made it out with a little under 10 minutes to spare with three people. It was one small room and the with basically 5 chests you need to open. I wont give away too much,but if you are expecting an elaborate multi room game,this is NOT it.

Loved this place. The guy who introduced was very nice. He explained the rules simply enough for anyone to understand. If you plan on going try to get a reservation ahead of time. If helps you and helps the people working there. Really enjoyed this place and plan on going back sometime soon.

We had people ranging in ages of 20 to 40 and everyone seem to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Im already getting ready for the next one.

Knight in the Museum was a fantastic room. This is our 3rd room weve done at House of Conundrum (they are all great!) but this was our favorite so far. The clues were creative, challenging and fun with an exciting finish. One of my favorites parts was the security guard and the fun that took place during his checks of the museum. Our experience could not have been better!

This was my first escape room and I loved it. They are very friendly and fun people and well done puzzles. Most fun I have had in some time. Great for groups of friends. They showed us the other rooms and they are decorated well. Cant wait to go back!

I have gone here twice and I have loved it both times! I have been to another escape room in Omaha, and I did not enjoy that place as much as I did The House of Conundrum! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend coming here!!!

A group of us went to the Zombie Apocalypse room and had a fun time! It tests your brain so working as a team is a must! We want to try the other rooms so we will definitely be back! The staff was great they were helpful energetic and booking a room was very easy cant wait to go back. I recommend House of Conundrum to anyone wanting something different to do i promise you will have a great time!

After going through 10-15 other rooms throughout the last year, I was disappointed with the quality of this room (Lincoln assassination). This included the puzzle difficulty, team playability, immersion, and room detail. There didnt seem to be a lot of ingenuity or creativity put into the room, and it was noticeable even by the other players. One team member had never done one before, while the other two had only done one, and all three were so underwhelmed that I was tempted to go directly to another escape room company and pay for their entry in order to make it up to them.After seeing the other glowing reviews, Im hoping we just did the dud room, but Im unwilling to spend any more money here to test that theory.

This place is INCREDIBLE! they have a high attention to detail and the price is great. We glimpsed at the rooms and chose the Sherlock Solution, which was AMAZING! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time with any group.

This place was so cool. We went as a family ranging from adults to an 8 year old. We all got to participate and it took team effort. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking something fun and a little different or team building exercise. Personally, the staff is what made of for me.

Wow! This place has intense puzzles! We went with family, two of us with masters degrees and several gamers and we still needed hints! The staff was gracious and helpful and we ended up saving London with seconds to spare.Recommend this place!

It’s not bad. For an escape room I figured it would be bigger than 25sqft for 20 dollars a person. Their are better ones and I would probably check them out first.
