It’s okay. For a quick “fun activity “ but not for a planned grandiose experience don’t get your hopes up. For a business to thrive and they need a five star across the board. The best part was the boat driver he’s cool and deserves a promotion. Other than that, it’s a simple .5 mile man made water way and shows the status of the original Oklahoma race which was a work of art and amazing. Worth the ticket prices and to learn about Oklahoma.
This was a nice way to hear about history, see lots of fauna, see the Centennial Land Run monument and other statues, paintings, fountains, Sony headquarters, and gardens in a relaxed atmosphere. Aaron was our tour guide and he was great. The only negative was that the canal water is green (but not smelly). For seniors, the cost was $10 each.
This was t he best canal ride i ever had very good narration and atmosphere as well as Covid protocols
Our family enjoyed getting on the water taxi and hearing a little of OKCs history. The tour guides are very knowledgeable about their city. Some of them are also very funny. You can take the whole ride and listen to the tour. You can also get off at any stop along the way. Your ticket is good for the whole day. You can buy them via the mobile AP or at a ticker booth. There are numerous places to eat along the canal. There is also an arcade and a mini golf course. This is a great way to see the canal without having to walk all of it.
We had a group and there was a misunderstanding on the time. They went out of their way to get us on a boat and we had a great time.
Worth every dime. We had John as our guide he did great!! We loved learning the story behind brick town, he was very friendly and out of all the attractions here at Okc this is the best one so far.
It was great first time definitely satisfied and fun and educational
I like this place. It has a miniature golf
About a 30-40 minute tour of the areas around the Bricktown waterway. Nice opportunity to relax and take in the sites if youre not up to walking. The ride wont stop if you see some place youd like to visit... so water taxi is kind of a misnomer. There are a few places around Bricktown that offer pretty good military discounts, be sure to have your ID handy.
Loved our tour, and the little history lesson he gave us throughout the tour. They don’t accept tips on card so bring cash. We tipped our guide as he did an exceptional job! Highly recommend
A very cool canal ride through Bricktown. The 45 minute ride is narrated. Expect details descriptions of murals, sculpture, construction of the canal, history of the area/canal and information about all the restaurants and establishments you pass. Enjoyable and educational. Fare is reasonable and is good all day.
Learned lots of interesting facts about the OKC area by our boat captain. Nice slow relaxing way to spend about 45 minutes.
Great place for everyone who interested in the architecture and history.
Wonderful tour of the canal and incredibly in depth history of the area from the boat captain. Well worth taking this ride.
Very interesting & informative tour. I would highly recommend it. You learn about OKC history & have fun at the same time.
It was a lot of fun however I bet we travelled five maybe six football fields.... so not a very long ride but interesting none the same.
We were a little skeptical about this tour because of the mixed reviews, but I am glad we did it. The taxi and clean and comfortable, the river walk is nice. Our tour guide Penny was so kind and funny. She explained a lot of historical facts about the city and the river walk. The horse statues were impressive. I will recommend to do it around 5pm so you will see everything and also the lights that go all over the river. It was a 45 minutes tour. This is a must do I. Oklahoma City.
Nice little history float and a good place to rest dont forget to tip the drivers apparently they dont get paid
We didnt do the water taxi but we absolutely loved walking around. Its a beautiful place to see. I saw the Sonic headquarters and magnolia trees which are one of my favorite flowers. This is a must see when visiting Oklahoma.
Gave me a San Antonio feel. Tour guide was great. We were able to take really nice pictures along the route. Just wished it was a little longer.
Nice little version of the River Walk in San Antonio.
The ride was very nice and informative of the history of that area.
We bought tickets online since thats the only way to get them and when arrived it was closed, but they let you buy tickets at there web site, so after paying for parking because there is nothing free around the ball field and making it around to the water taxi nothing, if your not open dont seel tickets on your site, it ruins the a day if planning and waiting for the specific time slot to find out you dont have anything,. Was a bust for our family
Worth the money. Nice 30min ride. The
To be honest, this needs to cost about $5-7 dollars for an adult. You get a short ride on a canal. The views were ok and a couple of times interesting. It would be best if u were bar hoping because you could get on and off, but we rode it once, weren’t impressed with the lackluster things to see, and then went home. Paid almost $50 for my family of 5. What a waste!
Great ride around Bricktown and the perfect way to get about. You can hop on and off at several stops along the trail. One ticket is good for the entire day and evening. Adult, senior and childrens rates. They send the confirmation to your phone, so make sure to bring it along.
A relaxing way to spend some time in Bricktown. Interesting facts & fiction from the boat captain.
Disappointed to say my family’s first visit here was not a pleasant one. The woman running the booth, Julia, was extremely rude when we approached her for information. She ended up being our tour guide. Needless to say it was an uncomfortable experience; the kids didn’t want to ask her any questions on the tour given our earlier treatment and we sat in silence the entire time. Customer service and people skills would make a world of difference at this establishment.
So beautiful! The driver was fun and knowledgeable
Capt. Cassidy was amazing and funny. Highly recommended.
Our tour guide was Aaron and he did an amazing job!! Absolutely loved it!!
Always love it. The water taxi driver is always knowledgeable and funny
Best part of my mini trip. The tour guide was excellent
Fun experience for all ages, & the whole family unit! Great to see the sights and all the places to eat at in bricktown canal area, also great to hear the driver give a detailed description of the bricktown area as your going along!
Very friendly! Getting tickets were easy, boat captain was pretty cool & funny. Even though its the little brother of the San Antonio riverwalk... it was still a quaint little trip! The music & statues were awesome! Not too shabby, BWT.
Absolutely fabulous time on the Water Taxi. Ryan our guide was fantastic! Bathrooms are close. People are so nice. He talked about the history of OKC. Awesome!
Was pretty neat but it depends on your boat guide. Ours was nice but didnt tell much of Oklahoma City and history. He was just telling jokes and talking to people beside the canal.
Our captain was very funny! He had a lot of great personal anecdotes, and also provided us a detailed history of Bricktown. Additionally, we learned a good deal about the history of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City. Overall, worth the money for the ride. It is a good way to punctuate a long day of sightseeing if youre visiting the city like I was.
A very nice 40 minute tour. Its best to go at night to see all of the lights.
Very fun!! Learned several things about Oklahoma on the ride. I rode it twice. Its cool day and night! I had an awesome taxi driver named Mike! He was awesome if you get him then your lucky! He told us more stuff then the other drivers. But even if you dont get him its still worth it!! They got cool statues and many other things.. Paul Moore made the statues... Its just cool! I wont spoil it all!!!
Overall pretty good. We enjoyed the narrative, but was expecting a bit more from the actual presentation and a bit more for the money.
Excellent family time! Learned a ton about the Brick town and OKC in general.
It was fun. Nice family outing. Driver of the boat was really into his job. He acted like he loved it. No wait in line for hours. We try to go every year as a group. Dont always work that way but we still have fun. Thanks
Was a nice boat ride but very short tour, for the price.
The driver was super friendly and funny! Awesome time!
Nice little 40 minute canal ride through the Bricktown area of downtown Oklahoma City
Fantastic! We had no idea OKC had this to offer. Beautiful and so much history
I would recommend you go for a ride around the canal at least once.
It was nice and the guide was knowledgeable .
The only reason I’m giving this place four Stars is that the ”Wish Bridge” truly I wish it was bigger going through that little tight spot it’s very difficult but the day I went it was a nice clean breeze it wasn’t that hot my tour guy explained things and had a great sense of humor...
Taxi was awesome.. so was the guide... as a tourist it was neat to see the statues and hear a little history
A lot of fun and great info!
Cassidy was incredible he did a great job giving us a tour through Oklahoma Citys recent and distant history. If I am ever back in oklahomas me after I finished touring the USI will definitely stop by for another tour. He made Sure to sing my daughter Happy Birthday with the rest of the boat and did a great job.
John was wonderful gave us fun in the sun, and lots history.
I thought it was pretty cool..the boat driver knew a lot about bricktown and had some pretty good stories....
Loved it! Daniel made it so fun! And we learned alot of interesting things!
I loved it! Really looking forward to come back.
Aaron L was a wonderful tour guide. He just made our day.
Our guide JULIA was great! She was funny, nice and very knowledgeable. The boat ride was pretty - waterfalls, ducks, geese, flowers, and the land run statues (very cool). We went on a Monday so the boat was not crowded at all (five in my group, and a couple). The only downside was the price - $56 for my group of five. It was still nice and I would highly recommend it, but probably wouldnt go again just because of the price.
This was awesome and very romantic. Something for couples and familes with smaller kids. It was very fun.
We expected something else, it is rather an attraction for children
Touristy but a nice relaxing to do in Oklahoma city
Great experience with wonderful history and views.
Fun tour. Funny guide.
LOVED OUR SISTAS TRIP FOR THE CELEBRATION OF MY SIS BIRTHDAY!!!
Not sure why I was unable to really enjoy the boat..the story of the Oklahoma Sooners was very interesting
Awesome informative boat ride.
I enjoyed the boat ride. And I know our guide was trying but I really couldnt hear her. I did catch bits and pieces, but needed to be louder.
Loved it. I was there for the site seeing and it was wonderful
The trip around Bricktown on the canal ferry was superb. Our Guide Mike told all the stories with passion and humour. The sights of the old buildings and the the magnificient statues at the turning point were a highlight of of trip to the USA. Many thanks Glen (South Africa)
Little pricey but great tour guide, lots of fun facts and information.
Nice, relaxing ride, hearing about OKC,s history.
Great place, very relaxing during this precautions they are being very professional and very cautious. Before we got in they sanitized the boat and me and my family we were the only ones in the boat
Loved all the history our taxi guide gave us. All the sights were beautiful
I absolutely love riding this boat. Whenever I have family members visit this is the place that I bring them to.
Excellent tour, our taxi driver was phenomenal! Cassidy you rock
For $11 per adult, it was a nicely done guided tour of the history of the city. Well worth it. Captain was knowledgeable and entertaining.
Was well worth the 11 dollars. Its more like a city tour than an actual water taxi. We had a great driver/guide. He was very funny, friendly, and knowledgeable about the city. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city to check it out.
Daniel was awesome, and we will definitely come back to visit!
This was a wonderful tourist attraction, loved riding it at night. lots of history involved and our tour guide was knowledgeable and comedic!
Fun attraction to learn more about the downtown area. Open air taxis so dress appropriately. Full tour lasts about 30ish minutes.
Captain Jeremy is the best. He was funny, entertaining, and informative. The next time we ride, I’d be fine letting other people take my spot in line so I can ride on his boat again.
They PACK you on here. Im talking like sardines. Its extremely hot and uncomfortable and you are sitting literally thigh to thigh next to complete strangers and touching knee to knee of the people in front of you. Instead if just seating people on the seats made for the boat, these ppl went and filled every extra space with extra chairs. Cant imagine theres anything safe about it. The price isnt bad and the tour/scenery is nice. But the discomfort of the ride takes most of the joy away.
We had a great time it was laid back and relaxing. We watched ducks swim in front of the boat. I enjoyed listening about the history of downtown Ok.
We had a wonderful tour of Bricktown with Daniel. The water taxi is a great way to get a feel for Bricktown and decide what you want to do. The Oklahoma Land Run monument was really cool! Daniel was upbeat and entertaining. We loved it.
Less than an hr and good history
We havent been there in ten years, and they changed it a bit. It is a little longer, but better.
Our captain was Kassidy, he was informative and funny. Very nice ride.
Great place to visit. Lots of history.
Fun ride very informative..
Bricktown water taxi can give a nice ride around the downtown. You can see beautiful things along the ride. The price of water taxi is around 12$. There are roads, parks, trees fountains, cattle monument and garden comes along the ride. For weekend family time this taxi is a great recreation.
Excellent service, friendly staff!!! Very fun ride!!!
Dont miss this experience, you will learn so much about Bricktown.
It was very interesting. Something different and a good value.
You can walk the distance that the taxi goes, in good weather, but what you cannot get is the historical information and great tour guide (she’s a teacher, but I can’t recall her name). Great service.
A must do if your in bricktown, Micheal was a book of knowledge, and there was some fantastic scenery
You need to take a reservation if you want to take the taxi.
Boat captain was great.
