My girls absolutely loved this place! Not only is it right on the water, there are more structures than most playgrounds. They spent hours playing and didnt want to leave. Would recommend.

Always go to the training station. Functional, no defective equipment, spacious and multiple stations available. I love the fact that it has a sun shade/covering or whatever it is called. Bathroom right across from it too. Not always clean and most times missing toilet paper or paper towels. Great outdoors, lake view, walking/running/bike trails. Great fun place

Why we are just now visiting the park by Lake Hefner, I have no idea. Sitting on the rocks by the lovely waves gave us a moment of peace and beauty that we appreciated so much! Thank you to those who keep this place clean - visitors/tourists like us really thank you. A nice park for families is nearby, and our restaurant was a short drive over. Perfect.

Great park. just needs to clarify rules of age appropriate children. Older adolescents over 12 dominate and endanger younger patrons with reckless behavior.

We didnt actually go to the park because we dont have kids and that would just be creepy. We did walk past it while we were walking the Hefner Lake trail. All of the playground equipment looked clean and the kids we did see playing were having a good time. This is a cute park with a good view.

This is a nice park. There is a lot of wind coming off the lake though. It gets rather cold when the weather isnt warm.

A very clean and picturesque playground located in the water front with lots of walking paths and two pavilions. My 5 year old daughter loved it!

We are in the middle of a 19hrs car ride with kids and this place was awesome! Breeze off the lake and a big 2-5yo park was completely empty for,the kids to run off excess energy!

Good place but needs more shade areas

The park is nice but small. It is good for adults and kids as well. There is a shelter where you can do picnic. You have to make reservation if you want to use the picnic shelter. There are lots of fun activities for kids such slide, swings and others. You can run, walk and fly kites here. There are plenty of open spaces where you can do any type of games you want.

Tge limited shade was good. Just wish there was some over the swings

Nice park overall. Needs a little work on the rubber, missing chunks. The reason for the 4 star is that there are a lot of spiderwebs everywhere. The pictures are bad due to the light and otger factors.

Molded rubberized ground cover is repaired, and it is a 5 star park again. Great for multiple ages. Has a good sidewalk loop nice and tight at the playground perimeter which allows good visualization of kids riding scooters and razors from several fixed points.

Im from Florida and when I go to OKC on business, Lake Hefner just lets me relax. The restaurants on the lake are good, the jogging path (short and long) are nice. You feel safe at the lake because of the nice people around there. I enjoy Lake Hefner.

We visited this playground on a very sunny day. It was a very nice experience. The fountains which are placed around the playground also make it very easy when you have your pup with you and are on a walk. It is fun and relaxing environment where the kiddos can play as well. Nice and properly maintained. Hope it stays the same in okc. Highly recommend to visit this place.

So calming and fun things for kids and adults you can walk around, fish and play though I havent been in a boat they also have those and much more I found a place a peace absolutely love it here

Good and bad, just a little crowded! But we loved it overall, had a fun time. Little park with quite a bit of fun things to do!

Little playground is cute (closes for covid). But walking trail around the lake is where it’s at!

Very nice and clean facility and park. Bathrooms were closed, I might be blind but I didnt see a reason why. Other than that, great place and the kiddo loved it!

This is a very nice and clean place. I like to watch water, boats etc. Children come here to play games!!

Nice open clean area by the lake to let your kids play. But it gets very crowded and hard to keep up with your child.

I really enjoyed this part of the lake. Great big playground! But the flooring for the playground needs to be replaced, easy for anyone to trip or twist their ankle. The sunset from this location was beautiful!

I love this park! Its HUGE! Plus theres the cool air coming off the water, wonderful walking trails, and a pretty cool little lighthouse. The only downside is getting hungry from the great smelling food at the fancy riverside restaurants.

Nice playground area for the children

I love taking my 5 year old son out here! Its awesome! Really big area for us to run around as much as we want! People are nice out there not snobby! Kids have fun playing g tag & meeting each other.

Took the family to enjoy some sandwiches, was hot out but wonderful breeze kept things beautiful. Enjoyed the playground and our visit.

Lots of room to run around or just sit and watch the parasailers. Nice fenced in play area for kids too.

Great place for kids to play and adults to enjoy. My toddlers love ever took and it is a great adventure while they are improving their motor skills. The view is perfect every time of the day and sheds both above the playground and the ranches are so convenient. Finding water and a restroom available is another good thing about this place.

There are a lot of kids around 2, but do not take older kids there. It is a fun park. But little kids has taken the park over.

Love fitness park

The park is aging and in disrepair. There are no restrooms either, except for a porta-pottie or two. Which are usually poorly maintained. Its a great location though, right on the Lake with Restaurants near by.

Great fun to bring kids, scenery is about as good as it gets in OKC. Can get a little crowded but that’s not always a bad thing

The parking lot was clean and well taken care of and the parking spots lines were very visible and painted great

Ive only been here a few times but the play park was clean each time and the trash was tended to. I appreciate the grounds team for being so attentive to the park and trash

Its a great place to take the kids. They can play on the playground and then see the ducks and geese nearby. The scenery around the park is beautiful.

Uhh the playground was closed. Next time put a notice on here. Drove 2 hours

I have driven around this park and never noticed the kiddos because they were playing on the big toy. Lots of people cook out there. It seems like a friendly family place. I would hurry the kids in before it gets dark because you never know...All and all it seemed liked the kids were having fun..

Kids LOVED it. Its VERY windy & cooler by the lake, so plan accordingly. Glad the girls had ponytails & we took jackets.

Only got two because of the lake. The playground is fenced in. And looks like its been that way a while.

Its nice and has pretty views but the playground grounds need fixed. There are big holes where the kids trip and fall.

Amazing park for the kids! Be aware of all the spiders that come out after dark though. They cover the playground pretty fast.

We use to go to this park a lot. Now years later I was shocked as to how bad of shape it was in and how bad it looked. The rubber ground around the play ground was SO tore up it looked like it was hit by a meteor shower. Divits and craters all over that would cause major tripping or ankle rolling or sprain. A missing swing. I was afraid to even attempt the porter potty after seeing the shape the playground was in. Such a shame because it use to be a pretty and nice playground. City needs to definitely get out there and fix it.

Beautiful view! I was not actually at the park, but walked by on the walking trail. I did see quite a few kids playing and having a good time though.

Its great for kids to play. If more evergreen trees are planted to protecting from the winds the playground.

Nice play area to take kids to burn energy. Some of the pad area has been ripped up but still is bouncy in the damaged area. Slides and structures are not dangerously damaged.

This is a great little park to come and spend the day. The down side is how crowded it is on the weekends. Just off of this park is a nice cycling trail as well. So you can do a little bit of everything.
