Beautiful beach, clean, lots of locals still coming during off season. Easy to find parking. Bathrooms and lifeguards nearby.

Always a vibrant place to go to. No matter what time it is SOMEONE is always fishing there. Ive seen otters and dolphins many times. There is always a pelican there. PLEASE do not try to touch him! He bites...a sign is there to warn you! You can rent fishing poles and buy bait at the shop halfway on the pier. The piers 1/3 of a mile if youre trying to get some exercise in...but be warned Rubys Diner is at the end and a milkshake ALWAYS tempts me. There Tin Fish right at the bottom of the pier...that place is delicious! They set up a juice stand during the summer also. You can purchase a coffee from a small shop right on the strand and even get some henna work done. Need a lemonade? Theres a stand there too! Icees and even fruit cups. Plenty of booths set up so you have a few choices. Theres also a playground on the beach...remodeled recently too! Occasionally they will play movies at the amphitheater so bring a chair and a blanket! Concerts happen right here at the beach too!

Oceanside never ceases to amaze me, love coming to the beach here with family.

The amphitheater was having a Samoan Celebration- Lucky Us!! Music and message was Amazing!! We will definitely be putting on the calendar as a not to be missed for next year! The free show was the cherry on top! Perfect for our family celebration. Have also attended paid concerts as well. It is not a huge venue so when you go to a paid concert you are never too far away- they are definitely not big names, so not that expensive- but when you get older the bands you like from teenage years, tend to be at smaller venues and this one is just awesome right at the beach!

Love the beach ANY TIME!! So. Cal. beaches are some of the best for swimming & surfing. But I also love storms! This area is amazing. Food, surf, ocean breezes, lots of people watching. Great place. Wonderful atmosphere.There is also a memorial for Junior Seau. Football player for the Chargers/Patriots who tragically took his own life after suffering repeated blows to the head during his football career.

Tough days with so much smoke from the wild fires.

You can fish on the pier 24 hours a day and no license required! Rubys Diner is the restaurant at the end of the pier. I saw people catching mostly Mackerel fish (yuck) and only 1 beautiful Perch.

Iconic Oceanside ! Everything happens at the pier!

This is probably my number one favorite place in the world to be the most beautiful beaches it was beautiful. Fun people lots and lots of stuff to do anybody would be stupid to not come here for a vacation I would recommend it 100% as a matter of fact I love it so much here I moved here__even the police are pleasant and its safe here

A lot of nice people. A cooking area with tables. Not far from the ocean. Hard time trying to find parking but it was all good!

It was so beautiful here. There ate food stand by the peir you can fish on the peir and there is a Rubys restaurant at the end of the peir.

Access to the beach, multiple playgrounds, dog friendly, tons of food to eat. Certainly somewhere to spend the whole day at.

Used to love this place but anymore parking is impossible, it is over built, crowded, and the beach is eroding away.

I love Oceanside we go out there as many times as we can it’s always so beautiful and full of cool vendors, it’s my happy place.

Oceanside pier is definitely one of the better ones in so cal (not that Ive ever been to an awful one, mind you) and the amphitheater is so dope. Little stages with seating that all share the same concrete arent usually all that impressive, but this one just does it. Probably the beach air/view. Loves it. Only complaint is that parking is a nightmare, so make arrangements beforehand!

Came here all the time as a kid. Pier is how it was.... Oceanside has changed down there, but for the good.

Good place. Cool shops and carts at the bottom of the pier. Rubys up top is decent too. The beach area seemed nice and clean, with plenty of people watching out for the peace and rules there. Parking here is really tough.

My daughter had a school program here. Theres Lots of room for concerts and performances. It was fun. Then we went for a walk on the pier. Was a odd day.

This is a fun place to fish on the pier there is shows at the amphitheater but you got to catch him but the fishing is excellent on the pier 24/7 and bathrooms are 24/7

The longest pier on the west coast! 1/4 mile each way and the names engraved on the pier are donors ♡There is a diner at the end called ruby and there are bathrooms in the middle of the pier and a little store! Lots of people fishing and a guy who played the sax and a lady who was painting from the pier! Enjoy♡Many mahalos and much aloha!

Love Oceanside for body and half boarding. There were sand sharks in the water but they are small and did not bother us at all.
