A very clean and organized venue.The stall facility were new, convenient and had all the amenities you would need for a successful show weekend. Male Toilets were still under construction, but that should be completed in the next couple months.

If you like bicking, walking, jogging or riding horses this is for you. Very clean paved paths for exercising but they also have rough paths for the adventure seekers! Restroom available. If you are new to the area and are looking for a place to get on track with your fitness needs and you love the out doors this place is for you. Bonus they have horseback riding available. Not sure of the fees as I am not a rider myself.....It should be on my bucket list no fees for the trails...

Horse Park was fine, mopar show this weekend which was ok,it cost 10 dollars to park which I thought was to much,5 dollars would have been more like it.

Florida Horse Park is a beautiful facility! I attended a draft house show and the arena was large enough to accommodate three to four 8 horse hitches. The stalls are roomy and secure. Riding trails are well maintained, parking is ample.

Great place to watch and enjoy horse jumping and riding events, close to I75 in Ocala, FL.

Brought my son here and he loved the balloon festival. First time seeing something like that and definitely will go again.

Great location for equine athletics! They host a wide variety of events. The staff is friendly and there is food and drink on site. Enjoyed our visit and looking forward to another event.

I loved going to the horse park with the hot air balloons there. We really enjoyed our selfs. It was incredible to watch the balloons go up in the air. Then they will make the lights flicker & steady glow wow I have never been to a hot air balloon festival before I surly will recommend this to others

Went here for the RV Show in February. It looked like a great place, but I literally only saw the field that we went to. I saw a horse jumping course, and stables as I drove through. Looked well maintained and nice.

Its beautiful to walk with my dog along riders on horseback. Horses surprise me with their great size. Dog and I watch as the magestic horses pass on. This park is a jem for the nature lover, on foot, bike, or horse.

Went for a car show. While the cars got a little dirty it done DNT make me enjoy the beautiful facility at all. Great place for an event.

Fine place for an RV show but Ill bet is is a world class equestrian show place. I look forward to seeing Paso Fina horses perform here. Thanks to all who put so much time into building this FACILITY. LOVELY PLACE!

The Florida Horse Park was the site of the annual Pace Center for Girls 5K & 10K runs held on Kentucky Derby Saturday. About 600 runners and walkers participated in the two events with the 10K starting at 7:30 am and the 5K starting at 7:45. The Florida Horse Park offered plenty of room to run with the start/finish line at a very nice restroom/shower/picnic facility.

Nice grounds, plenty of space. Running a show office is extremely difficult at this location since there is so little mobile tower coverage. Could not take chip card reader payments, access online tools, etc. due to poor signal there. Explained to them that they need an internet provider with a number of high gain antennas around the property to make up for lack of mobile coverage.Rental fees are very high for what you get. Fee schedule is absolutely loaded with fees for every little tiny extra thing they can think of to charge for. It reads more like the surcharges section of your phone bill than a rental contract.Grounds/maintenance guy is great. Checks in many times a day, even with multiple events on the grounds. Office staff on the other hand seem like they were just randomly hired one day to fill a hole. Not the level of professionalism you would expect for such a facility with such prices. I might tolerate such management if it was somebodys back yard. Nobody on the property truly understands the PA system they have. I had to completely rewire the main control box and change the settings myself when it kept malfunctioning all weekend.In a nut shell, if you are a spectator or going to attend an event, you will love it. If you are the producer/promoter/manager of an event, its hell.

I had a blast filming out here! My company Box Truck Studios was contracted out by National Sports Broadcasting and we went our there for Pat Parellis horseology summit. The event just ended about an hour ago and MAN the sunset here is B E A U T I F U L. I could keep going on about that, but a picture is worth a thousand words. So here it is. To sum it up, from a videographers perspective, this is a WONDERFUL place to take your horse, especially if you are planning on filming a promo or training video. Very wonderfully maintained grounds, lots of space, and a wonderful lack of road noise for a nice calm atmosphere. The only issue I had was not having an easy time to find appropriate parking for people who do not own horses and may be coming for reasons like volunteering.

It was a really fun event.

I really enjoyed being a part in this event, bringing in the cattle for the cutting show.

The horse are beautiful as we drove into the R.V show. The grounds are well kept and this location is easy to find.

We had a wonderful time. We got to visit the stalls, pet the horses, talk to staff and owners. Food was good at Memaws, money well spent

They have things going on all the time for everyone there check it out.

This place was great. The event was well organized, friendly people and the facilities and park were kept clean. A+ to go to any event.

Every event is fundamentally different. The balloon festival we attended was great fun. There were food and craft vendors gallore. More than ample space to spread out and plenty of restrooms; portables.On the down side, the parking was a bit chaotic. Exiting after the event was like a free for all. Better organization could expedite the process.

The Florida Horse Park, as well as the draft horse show, exceeded our expectations. We, and our friends, attended the Sunday show...awesome, exciting, great picture taking opportunities, impressive...WOW! We went early...we paid for better parking which was worth the expense, we found a perfect area to sit in on the bleachers (super for picture taking) plus no waiting in the food line...all good! It paid to go early.The show (competitions) were wonderful. I was on the outside of the barrier ( of course) which was a super place for picture taking of the incredible horses...it was like thunder when they went by. The WOW factor was in full force all day.

Not what we expected but we should have. Really pushy salesmen. We ended up leaving after a half hour. Lesson learned.

Very pretty. The grass is very green and nice. I ran here for a cross country meet and it was amazing. Great scenery!

We live riding our trail horses around the 500 acre cross country field and the trails that surround the park. You can access the Cross Florida Greenway trail from here and there is generous parking available. You need to check in at the administration office on 475 and provide proof of Coggins. Friendly staff!

The day I went was for an RV show, not for anything to do with horses. Small rain showers and the grounds never got soggy or muddy.

Beautiful and accommodating to horses and riders. Large open area. Only item of voncern was a small obscure drain grate my horse nearly stepped into near the south side of the dressage arena. Overall nice facility.

The trails from the park connect with the cross FL Greenway connect for miles and miles of trail riding!

Just an incredible place to show and spectate. Meticulously taken care of rings, stalls, and cross country course.

This was a great open field that was perfect for the hot air balloon event we went to. There are no facilities on site so if you are planning an event you better plan to bring everything in. The balloon glow was well organized. There were a ton of food trucks, venders, and fun things for kids. I was a little sad that the balloons didnt get up in the air because of weather, but they filled them up and tethered them so we got to see what they looked like.

This was not setup very well at all. The lines were too long, not well laid-out nor thought out. Better luck next time but I never will pay $20 go through all that hell. You think I was going to a Rolling Stones concert except I wasnt so it was a bummer.

The Grandview Invitational was amazing to watch, what a great experience!!

The trails are wonderful and well maintained. The downside was all but one gate was padlocked to the public trails. We ended up having to ride along the eventers to find an open gate to actually get on the trails. Upon returning we had to cross a downed fence to get back to our trailers. Had we had an emergency no one would have been able to reach us nor would we be able to exit quickly. Unsure why they would have the gates all padlocked.

Never had a reason to go there. Marion county caters to horse people who think they are better than Everyone else just because they own a horse. They should designate that land as a motorsports park

Went to see the gentle giants of the draft horse show for the Grandview Invitational today. The show and the beauty of these horses was absolutely amazing. Did have to wait in line for an hour and a 1/2 to get something to eat. They need more help in so far as this is concerned. I and most people around me found it annoying that the announcer kept talking about the sponsors of each horse like every 5 minutes instead of talking about the horses, the show or the people who sat in the carriages at the reins a bit more.

Underwhelmed by Ocala Balloon Glow. First, staff taking your admission were waving in the dusk/dark without any reflective or safety gear. Second due to a stronger than normal wind only four balloons were inflated. Two left the ground, on each. No announcement or indication of this even after collecting your money. Now if you were interested in vendors, rides, etc., you may have a higher rating.

A very long trail that goes across town. There are horse trails, and horse stairs for riders to mount their horse. This trails offers a very long smooth road with many up and down hill for bikers, and walkers. Also has many dirt trails.

Went to the hot air balloon fest, disappointing. They didnt go up or even light up simultaneously. Kind of boring. Impressive balloons but no show. Wont go back next year.

If you like watching a variety of horse events and meeting nice, friendly people then the Florida Horse Park is worth checking out. I was there yesterday to watch the Western Dressage event since I have an Arabian mare Im training to do that. While watching, I was surprised to see a big Pony Club Event happening in another area. Then I heard the sound of cows mooing and couldnt believe my good fortune!A big cutting event was happening in the covered arena...now THAT was fun to watch!Since Ive never seen horses cutting cattle live (just on TV) in my home state of Maine, I asked the people sitting near me how the scoring worked and they happily obliged. After they left, the couple sitting in front of them, who had overheard our conversation, continued to fill me in on the nuances. What a delightful afternoon, and you didnt have to be a pro to recognize when you saw a brilliant horse and rider cutting a calf from the herd..simply awesome, they were as good as Australian Shepherd dogs herding sheep!The Horse Park has grown and developed beautifully in the three years weve been in Ocala, I am delighted with all the different events it hosts.

Just three ballons in the dark without any lighting on them as the advertisement suggested. Tethered rides to only about 30 feet. Lack of staffing led to traffic backed up for close to an hour. No traffic control on the three roads that converged at the park entrance. One man trying to line up hundreds of drivers to park in a dark field. No lights for pedestrians trying to cross the field in heavy traffic and rough ground. Atrocious waste of time!

Went to see the hot air balloons. Should have taken chairs. For older individuals the ground is uneven and difficult to walk at night. Low lighting would be helpful.

Very understaffed! Dont ask an employee about anything! They either dont know or are told not to give good service. Would like to know who funds this place. Too many office people not enough knowledgeable workers! Dont ask for a manager because they are never there.

Awesome location for the civil war reenactment. Accessible, expansive and natural.

This is a beautiful large place; great for horseback riding, hiking, birdwatching, or a picnic. There is a central location near the horse corrals with picnic tables, and portalets. Check it out!

Went to ballon glow...sounded great...had plenty of vendors ...adult beverage and potties ..however no parking or exit help. Was complete chaos and the one person at street exit was Dressed all in black!! No reflective wear yikes. Arrive at 5 left at 7. Nothing happening really 2 or 3 balloons really a big let down...no happy

Great trails for walking, jogging,walking dogs. Nice playground for little kids. Good for picnics. Restrooms available. Map of trails. Can make a donation for a plaque remembering a loved one that will be placed along trail for people to see

Great show we saw nice place, needs to work out a lot of kinks, how people get in is slow and absolutely needs more seating, food trucks and bathrooms. But we loved the show it was fabulous.

All the picture are of the first ever Ocala Hot Air Balloon festival. Though i have seen bigger hot air balloon festivals this was a great show for first time event. I believe there will be more shows that Ocala will host in the near future and that show will be able to compete with the higher standards. The participitating food stalls were also great.

Beautiful place for a variety of horse activities. They probably could eventually use a few more bleachers, but meanwhile, the portable folding canvas chairs work well. They have grown quite a bit, added a lot of new facilities - covered arena, paddocks - & are still growing. Clean, new bathrooms truly a great show place!
