I love Rolling Greens Village, nice people, clean, low noise, is like leaving your American dream, you have everything here and more, I bought my house 2 years age, and I have another home NYC, but come to my village, I feeling like heaven.,like SPA Style. I dont have to worry for anything. Just be relax.that what you need after 55+++.
We are very happy to be living here at Rolling Greens Village. We never thought wed live in a manufactured home but its the best choice weve ever made. The home is solid and soundproof. Our electric bills are a lot less than our former retirement brick home.
Lovely well-kept pre-manufactured house and golfcource scene going on here and 3 Great heated pools. Staff is very nice very helpful with my ongoing education on manufactured housing.
I am researching mobile home 55+ parks and went to check out Rolling Greens Village Monday (08/10/20). Neat, clean, everyone takes care of their homes. Love the area. Job well done.
Nice place to retire. They have many reasonably priced homes and is well maintained. Monthly lot rent is a little higher than it should be
I live here. Nice friendly community. Lots of amenities and activities.
I really like this place thanks to my good friends
We went there for a Strawberry Festival and Open House. Well, the Open House was there... many houses open and for sale. But no strawberries! The Strawberry Festival was nothing but bait for a sales event. The only star it got is because the place really is nice for living...
Nicest community of this type in Marion County. Most facilities are relatively new and high quality. New owner making many improvements. Quiet and close to everything. Great place to live.
Just drove through. Golf course seems to be maintained well.
So last evening was a perfect night to be able to have a sit-down meal at Rolling Greens Clubhouse. Antonio and Jim were amazing. They were prepared all of the meatloaf green beans and rice meal and as a surprise we had vanilla ice cream. Thanks guys its always great seeing you. Keep up the good work!
If I could give less than 1 star, I definitely would. This organization has no consideration for their home owners. I understand that they want the best environment, but they are rude, give no information when asked, prices are rediculous, and they do not do the things they say they will on a timely manner. Save yourself a headache. Once they have you, you are stuck with no way out.
Resort style living at its BEST!!! Wonderful community and amazing people
I really liked the area but not impressed with the homes for sale they showed.
Great place to live
This place looks very nice. People take pride in keeping their houses and yards clean
This place is an oasis...great services, lovely people...youre always on vacation here
Great condition. More challenging than one would expect for a short course.
Good clean place
From what I saw and heard . the rent goes up every year. So if your working with a tiny budget dont go there.
Everyone we my husband and I have met in the Community are very nice! The new owners have been making great improvements to Rolling Greens. The golf course is in beautiful shape now since they did alot of maintenance to it! We will keep playing golf there for sure!
Nice place
Great place for old farts. Lots to do, All redone, nice golf course, pools, club house. They take poker night extremely seriously!
Great place to live in Ocala and the atmosphere is clean.
Looking forward to this community becoming gated and cant wait to get into our new home there this coming January...
Lot rent is to high.
Great rooms, very clean. Friendly staff. They list it as a 3 star. It is at least a 4 in my opinion.
Wonderful retirement village with golf courses, three swimming pools, beautiful new community center and banquet room plus many more amenities.
Heard their lot rent was way high like 6 / 650 to start. And raise each year. Just found out their lot rent is about 7 725 per month. But they are giving you a 4 month reprev or deffered which ever you look at it. If you buy a existing home or new not clear on that part. Also not sure if they follow the 80 / 20 law for 55+ communities. Where they allow younger minimum 45 + no younger for 80/20 law. But not everybody in FLA . Follow this written in legislation but when mention the just sigh and mumble what they say wont be told but find a way not to let you in shame the should. Some of us would be the best tenants.
Great atmosphere and friendly people.
A great resort with lots of activities and friendly people
An absolute amazing community! I have had nothing but great experiences when dealing with any staff member. The park itself is gorgeous. The clubhouse has 3 swimming pools. Its an amazing sight!
I did not stay at Rolling Green Village because I have been told I am too young at 47 to live in RGV. I wonder why the rules state that at least 80% of all occupied units within the community must be permanently occupied by at least one resident 55 years or older. All residents of the community must be at least 45 years or older. Does anyone know if 20% of the residents at RGV are 45 -55 years old? If not and I have been turned away then why? I have great credit, excellent education (graduate degree in healthcare) and a very comfortable income. It seems to me the rule may need to be reworded in the rules, regulations and, guidelines (8/2011) handout provided with the application to read 100% of residents must be 55 years or older.
Visit friends there often and I see big, positive changes since new owners took over. A lot of new homes coming in. I cant wait to see them set up.
Perfect
Lies, Lies, and then more LIES.
Really enjoyed the executive golf course here. Its been revamped, looks good, and doesnt seem to ever be busy, with in the hours public play is allowed. Check their site for info on hours.
I recently moved to Ocala from WI and chose Rolling Greens due to the northern FL location and what the community has to offer. Im a swimmer and having 3 pools is heavenly. Im semi retired and still able to enjoy all the other activities and amenities the community has to offer. There were a variety of price ranges of homes to choose from that it was difficult to make a decision but with the help of the sales office they helped make that decision easier. So now Im here and loving every minute of it.
Easy to find friendly heights.
Just moved in and looking forward to all that is around. Great quite place to live on the golf course.
Love my home town
New Owners doing good... Keep up the Good Work
My wife and I purchased a home in Rolling Greens almost 2 years ago and love it. We have been full time residents for over a year now and couldn’t be happier. Lots of activities and some of the friendliest people you’ll meet anywhere.
Lived here for over 8 years, my gosh we lost thousands of dollars. Kept raising the lot rent every single year, had to pay their real estate taxes on the lot we didnt own. Had to pay for permits every year, No privacy, under constant rules and regulations. Word of warning, before you decide, do your due diligence before signing your or your familys life away. This is a open gated community, and you are not required to belong to the HOA, but when we lived here, the HOA made deals with management to raise lot rents year after year for ten years! Keep in mind the What Ifs if something happened to you or your family while living here.
Love this place! They have 3 pools and a beautiful club house with a workout room, sauna in each of the restrooms! Golf course, shuffle board and all kinds of other things to do in sunny Florida! The folks who live here are so friendly and kind! I could winter here for sure!
Nice area for active adults. ....some of these retirees party like college frat kids, kind of humorous
Resort style living. We toured 7 homes. All unique floor plans. They offer a 3 day 2night stay in one of their rentals. We chose this to get a feel of the neighborhood. Fabulous.
Everything needed is here
Great place to live. And great friends !!
Visited the golf course. It is short but good.
A lot of amenities and free golf for residents.
This is a beautiful community, with so much to do! Ive never met a nicer bunch of people. Both employees and residents of the community are amazing.
Too expensive to live there.
Ok
Nice little retirement place for older seniors .
Awesome place Great Comunity!
My grandparents, great aunt and uncle, and several of their friends live here and they love it! Plus the heated pools are a nice bonus.
Rolling Greens is a beautiful community on the move. I look forward to seeing the new expansion of the golf course fully completed. The new tennis and pickleball courts will be a wonderful addition to the beautiful new aquatic center. Great days area ahead.
Great park highly recommend
Me and my son live there,we have a trailer home there .which we are home holders
Lifestyle amenities provide plenty of activities. My favorite is the golf course, my wifes is water aerobics.
Beautiful 55 plus community just too large.
Seems to be a nice place to live
It is a good place for elders. Rolling Green have a swimming pool and a club house with pool tables and a great library.
Very nice park
The 3 new heated pools and community center are very nice; there are card rooms, meeting rooms, a sauna, a state-of-the-art exercise facility, and the most beautiful library any park anywhere could boast, and it is kept current by great volunteers. RG residents are avid readers! The lot rent increased every. single. year for many years, but it is negotiated by the $15/year homeowners association. It is very well kept up; management is excellent. It has recently been sold; no one knows how that will affect the prices but the park management has been retained, and people are a bit spooked about whether lot rent will increase. There is a lot of renovation of houses going on - like 30 of them to be finished in a few weeks. There tends to be resident cliques. Lots of activities; but the same people are always in charge. I increased my stars from 3 to 4 with all the new improvements I see happening. This is considered by many to be the nicest manufactured housing park in the state. It may very well be so when the renovations are complete. REMEMBER, however, that mobile homes values depreciate like vehicles, and they are not built to last, so they deteriorate. They are not real estate, which, conversely, tends to appreciate in value. $150,O00 mobile homes are insane when that will buy you a nice real house in Ocala. Be careful what you ask for! This park also accepts registered sex offenders. I didn’t feel my grandkids were safe playing outside. We moved out and are so happy we did. LOTS of others are also.
I live there so not five months ago every day.
Great place to live
This isnt a trailer park, it is a mobile home SUBDIVISION! It is premier in all respects! Golf course, tennis, boci ball, horse shoes, shuffleboard, state of the art gym, pool tables, 3 thermal heated pools, full time social director at the awesome community center, and too much more to add. An active, socialable community if you want to partake (and you should!) ALWAYS something to do! Just sayin...
The people are some what nice
Its expensive to live here. But lots of activities to do. Great friends.
Great place with lots of ammenities
Clean naberhood, glof coruse club house all around nice place.
People are friendly
Lots of empty trailers. Many look unkempt or abandoned. Cart drivers hogging the road. Of all the amenities, few seem to attract residents.
Exceptional facilities for their members! Wonderfully clean as well;)
Cool place to shop
Nice facilities. Decent par 3 golf course.
Nice 55+ community. Lots of nice amenities.

Poor customer service at the office.
