You have to appreciate the counties effort to restore land back to natural habitat instead of selling everything for development. Great place for hiking, photography and wildlife viewing. Check out the Facebook page for conservation 2020 as theyre always having free programs inside their various preserves to get you outside and see the benefits of preserving land like this.

LOVE THIS HIKE! Today is March 5th 2020 and were back again. Nice winding ponds. The trail is Sandy and some grass sandy, easy to walk on. There are known restrooms and no concrete paths. This park could be tricky to find. Go down Nettles Road for four miles and turn left onto Nettle Grand. The parking lot is right there a dirt area.10 months later:Beautiful natural hiking. Seems like locals dont care about the treasure in their area because of all the garbage they leave. Driveway in is on Southeast corner of preserve

Took a free guided tour here. I am not a big nature person but I enjoyed my mile walk through this preserve while learning all about the plants and animals in this ecosystem. Make sure you bring water and wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting some mud on.

A beautiful area for photography... nice little ponds and fishing.. Walking the trails are a birders dream here, if you time it right... I have noticed trash build up in place... seems to be just lazy people that dont care and some may be blown in.. but over all has potential to grow... but if not watched being that it is tuck away... it could loose it charm very fast... People taking advantage, and disrespecting this little gem would be a great loss..

Fish spawning, birds singing, horse trails with good footing and so wide you could trot or canter safely side by side . Occasional traffic sounds cant detract from the peace and fun . Wish kayak allowed but walking the trails by ponds relaxing . Pick up trash on your way out and help keep it lovely .

Has hiking/equine trail, during the rainy season the area of the lake doubles but in the dry season it offers a descent amount of areas to fish from the shore, Ive caught large bass and tilapia year round.
