My husband and I took our 2 and 5 year old children to Springtime Farms for their fall festival Halloween weekend. It is way out in the boonies (aka North Ft Myers), but, definitely worth the little drive. It is settled back on a dirt road, among residential homes. They have a large parking lot!We arrived just after they opened at 9am, which i highly recommend. It was around 40$ for 3 of us, and under 3 are free. They gave us each a little basket with some lettuce, a cup of pellets, and little popsicle sticks with bird seed for the parakeets. We immediately went to the left, towards the goats, followed by the parakeet enclosure! They had double doors when entering any animal enclosure, to ensure the animals didnt escape or get anywhere they werent supposed to be. When we entered the parakeet enclosure, they immediately swarmed us. The kids (and husband) got a little scared at first from all of them flocking. In the end, it was super neat for all of them to just fly over and sit on you or the sticks, while they ate. **note, we came back before we left, around noon, and the birds were not hungry at all, and high up in their houses away from peoples reach. This is why I recommend coming first thing.Next, we went into the guinea pig and chicken enclosure, followed by the butterfly garden. After that, we got to feed bunnies and chicken the lettuce, and pigs/goats/llamas/cows the pellets. They were all very hungry in the morning, which made for a great experience for the kids. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars, instead of 5, was because I felt the goats had quite a lot of mats in them. There were employees watering down the pig pen, but it seemed like the animals could have had a little bit more grooming :).After feeding and petting all the animals, we moved on to the play area. This consisted of: pedal go karts, bubble zones, chalk area, basketball games, bouncy balls, tetherball, haybale slides, a tractor, sandbox, pumpkin painting....JEEZ they had so much fun stuff for the kids!!Another highlight for the kids was the GIANT trampoline. It was like an open air bounce house of sorts, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. There were Adirondack chairs for the adults to rest, while the kids wore themselves out :).Definitely recommend this farm, for the number of fun activities, and the high quality nap-prep for the kids :).
My kids loved it & so did we!!! This place is definitely our new favorite go to place!!! The workers are very friendly & helpful. I have no clue how they would get a bad review. It was worth the $ everything was wonderful!
Me and my two sons 4 and 17 spent the day there and we all had fun. Many animals to see, pet and feed. They even give you a basket of food for the animals with your purchase of entry. And after your done playing with the animals there are free game stations. We really enjoyed our day there and will return again soon! And there were sinks with soap and hand sanitizer all over the park.
Would not recommend to anyone. Very nasty. Website said they had hand washing stations throughout but none of them had soap. No one was supervising the animals. There were kids (and adults) chasing and handling the poor things very rough. Some didnt even have access to water. Most looked very sick. There wasnt a single butterfly in the butterfly enclosure. The property was very muddy and there was junk throughout. Not worth the $48 for my family to get in and hour drive to visit.
Thank you Sabrina!! We had a great time petting ALL of your cute critters! The kids loved it and thought it was super fun! You were so sweet to bring out the 4 day old baby goat for us to pet, a real treat! Everyone was so nice and polite, Anna was so nice explaining everything to use. Thank you for opening up here in North Fort Myers. We will definitely tell our friends, and well be back soon.
We really enjoyed our day there. Lots of fun activities, pretty low-key and we were able to stay away from crowds by going on a weekday. Lots of handwashing stations which was really nice and we found the soap was always full! Lol sounds silly but its important. A little more shade over the activity areas would make it perfect. The bouncer balls were too hot to use so maybe a little shed to stash them? Overall, my kids loved it. They are 5 & 2 and I can see them really getting the most out of the park between 7-12.

Great place. Wonderful selection of pants. Went for the pumpkin festival. Nice family day. Our son is 7. Highly recommend for all your nursery needs.
Decided to come here with my 3 kids today, heard about it from a friends FB post. Unfortunately the weather and heat made for a less than pleasant time. But that’s not on them. 30 bucks for 3 kids admission and you get a basket of animal food for every 2 guests. It seems as though the animal farm part of this place is newer and still being added to. I feel once the infrastructure and paths are more developed it would be better. However some of the animals and especially the chickens didn’t seem to be in good health. Aside from the nursery workers there was only one guy at the front desk. I think they need to do a better job on animal enclosures and maintaining the mulch to mitigate the odor. It was an ok experience but will probably stick with the shell factory from now on!
Bought a triple pigmy palm and had it planted by Springtime. Several months later one of the trunks died completely. Here is the text I received from Springtime; We do not warranty any of the plants. If it was an issue happening right away we would have fixed the problem. Unfortunately its been over 9 months so I can not replace the palm.
Customer service is great, unfortunately, the place was not very well kept and we did see quite a few animals kept. One animal (guinea pig) was in a cage barely surviving almost dead. Also, be careful... there were some spots over by the donkey and the pig where green algie was growing.Other than that, the place was good.
The plants are gorgeous, and plentiful! We were a little disappointed about the quality of care for the animals: We use to have chickens, quail, bunnies, and other animals of our own. Not in that capacity, but we could see signs of ill birds and matted sheep. It was affordable and my two year old really loved the bunnies. Thank you!
My kids absolutely love it. They enjoy petting the animals even tho it was a little hot they had so much fun. Took my oldest as his birthday gift.
Great staff and lots of fun for the kids. They also have plenty of covered areas to hide from rain if it shows up, which it did, this is Florida after all. Great time had by all!
Cool off the beaten path type of place. Kids had a blast at the pumpkin patch, & got some cool looking pumpkins. We will be back for some plants from the nursery too!
I am very happy with the farm for my 7 year old and 3 year old...The jumping pillow is great, but I do wish the seats directly surrounding the pillow had shade for the moms having to stay right there to watch little ones (there is a pavillion area beside with shade but that is slightly far for supervising very little). The shaded sand play area is a lot of fun for my kids. The animals being fed and pet are great. I do think the food selections could be different where more food is included for feeding the larger animals. I notice the chick and quail food is not very enjoyed, but is what is mostly given... The goats, sheep, cows, geese/ducks & bunnies do enjoy being fed more, but there is only a few lettuce and a cup of feed for them. I think more variety of food for the larger is better.I also think that maybe healthier food options would be beneficial, but if we are allowed to bring our own food then I wouldnt mind.Last, as much as I love it, I cannot come frequently because $12/person as a single mama is not feasible for me. I think $8 is the max I would prefer to pay for me as an adult... $5 for my 7 year old and free for my 3 year old is much more reasonable. Most people are not rich and I understand they need to profit, but I genuinely feel that lowering entrance fees would attract more people and make up for it. I have spoken to a lot of people that think $5-8 is much more reasonable.
Could use an upgrade after so many people had trouble getting in and out of the Fall Festival. Kids had fun. Recommend someone to supervise all of the random kids handling the animals - some were pretty rough with the rabbits and chickens and parents didnt care.
First time going to this farm and it was a blast!!! So many animals and the fact that they allow us to pet them, feed them and interact with them is a superb plus! The bounce playground was a lot of fun for the kids and they also have this little playground. This is a hidden gem! Better than going to a zoo in my opinion. And they are going to add more to the land, so Im looking forward to coming back again!
Amazing place. Highly recommend, you wont regret it. Its a hidden gem!
Took my friends grands there. They had a blast! Recommend it to all and go now and grab a pumpin!
Super friendly staff. Animals where well taken care of. My 2 year old twin boys enjoyed seeing the animals and feeding them. They gave small cups of food for them to feed the animals which was included in the price. The bunnies where not to excited to have the lettuce probably because someone was just thru feeding them but still came up and let my boys touch them which was more exciting to them then feeding them.they thought the goats running around where funny. And thought it was great a young chicken let them hold it while they sat on the ground. Would love to go back again .
Amazing little place! Good for younger children, very cheap. You can literally pick up and hold the animals and there is an inflatable trampoline. Definitely worth going to. Also they have a large variety very beautiful healthy plants !
Huge selection of different plants. Workers very helpful and knowledgeable. FYI dont wear good shoes out there....
Great places for kids. They have a giant jumping pillow trampoline with canopy and beach chairs with shady trees. They also have a shaded sand play area with big dump trucks and play houses. The petting zoo portion is a bonus!
It was a fun a interesting experience you get the chance to interact with the animal and give then some food. Staff was friendly. Location is a bit out in the wood but the road is easy to travel. They have some area for kids. And a good amount of different animals.
This place is filthy and unsanitary!!! I wouldnt recommend this to anyone. The animals are not taken care of, there wasnt anyone supervising the flow of people in and out of the animal areas. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere to be found. There was no one directing traffic and it seemed like you took a wrong turn while driving into the place. I highly DO NOT recommend anyone go there!
A ton of fun for the 6, 8, & 10 year olds, and me too!Great selection of small plants for our pool cage, and prices that beat the depot.
No COVID precautions. Mask free zone. Customers and employees. Do not come if you are not ok with this.
Thumb up and look much better. More kids active and game.
I love bringing my toddler here! A fun experience for all ages!
Great place to purchase your planting needs, they have a petting farm for kids which is always a great time for the kids, snacks and drinks. And the staff is awesome and friendly. Very knowledgeable about Florida plants and how to maintain those plants.
Very nice people! Great variety and prices!
Awesome welcoming staff. Animals well cared for. Looks like they are expanding. Will come back again!
Nice place. Feed and pet animals. Enjoy cold drinks and let the kids jump on a huge bouncing pillow.
Fantastic prices and plant selection. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
Truly wasn’t impressed! I expected the farm to be much more maintained and the animals to be better taken care of. A lot of them looked like they were suffering some skin conditions, and very ill. The price was a bit steep also, just not impressed.
Just took our kiddos here! This place is a hidden gem highly recommend!
Dead parakeets in the parakeet enclosure. Literally decapitated by chicken wire used. They are small birds and get stuck. Even one bleeding to death on the ground.
Amazing place!!!!! The kids had a blast cant wait to take them back. Highly recommend to go if you have kids.
Very nice relaxing my husband 67 i am 59 we enjoyed the visit . And I even received a Free plant it was very clean and animals was all happy. An they give you food too feed the animals I will go back soon
We felt terrible for the animals. There were so many people running in and out of the animal enclosures- they were scaring the animals, some of the animals were escaping, the enclosures were filthy and the animals looked sad and sick.
Great place to go with the kids. My kids loved this place
Great place to bring the kids, lots to do, lots of plants and animals.
It was nice, it rained so was very muddy but the kids had a blast, whats being a kid without getting dirty, I feel they are a little pricey for drinks but otherwise a great time.
Annalise is wonderful. Excellent knowledge. Fun w kids. Let me name a goat that didn’t have a name yet. She is Tyler now after my kitty. Thank you for a great time and family memory.
Such an amazing way to spend a day with your family
It was nice for the kids and the animals were very active
Large variety. All of the plants Ive gotten have been healthy and thriving.More than reasonable prices.
We visited their nursery for the first time yesterday, very kind and knowledgeable staff. Great selection and prices. Looking forward to purchasing the rest of our landscaping from them.
Awesome customer service, went there with tons of questions, came out with tons of answers. Went back and bought plants, and will return..
Nice place. Walkways are muddy thou.
Reasonably priced plants compared to other places. Helpful staff, wide variety. Just make sure to carefully look at plants prior to purchase. Will return.
Great place for families and very affordable and beautiful plants of all kinds!!
Love this place. Very friendly great prices.
Kids had a Great time.
It was a good family outing.
Not clean or well kept. No guidance as to where to park or where to go once inside. No soap or hang sanitizer at the washing stations. Not worth the 12 bucks to get in.
This is an incredibly beautiful nursery. Nice healthy plants and knowledgeable, friendly staff. I am so happy to have discovered this new favorite. Both tried and true varieties as well as some plants I was unfamiliar with. Left happy with a car-full of fabulous plants to help attract butterflies to our backyard garden. Can’t wait to go back again. Joe was very helpful! Thank you for a great experience!
Family friendly place
Wonderful place to visit with children and the plants are awesome the staff friendly and helpful
Just leaving the place. No names on most plants. Asked for help and lady had no knowledge of anything and said she was the only one working. Lost a big sale!
Great people and service.
Great place to take kids!!
Everything you need Great prices
We took our 2 children today and they had a blast...we will definitely be back!!
It was very nice place
Very nice, friendly staff
Wow. This places has a huge variety of plants, many of which I had never seen before. I love all the flowers too. I was really surprised by how reasonably priced everything is. Well worth the trip. I cant wait to go back and see more!
Had a great time exploring the grounds! We ended up getting caught in a downpour with some other customers and staff. We all huddled under the canopy. It ended up being a great experience as it provided all of us a chance to talk and ask questions about the different plants available.Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable.Prices are good. I will be going back.
Great price and great service. Roughly 80% of their business is palms. No coffee here.
We were so happy to find Springtime farms. They have a great variety of plants at great prices. They know their plants and are willing to educate and help with design. We wanted some plants that offered a nice fragrance and we found some amazing plants. Just love this place!
Helpful people! Good prices!
I made my second trip to Springtime Farms this winter on Thursday and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful and willing to answer all my questions and make helpful suggestions. The stock is abundant, healthy and breathtaking. I cant wait to go back again. Mary Kay Williams
Springtime Farms is a hidden gem that I just discovered! Tucked at the end of a dirt road, you arrive to a glorious blaze of color. So many plants to choose from, helpful staff, and very reasonable prices. I cant wait to go back!
Good plants and fair pricing.
Springtime farms has a great selection of plants. I went for tree butterfly bushes and found plants 2 1/2 -3 foot. Just walking around and found three more plants I liked. The personal working there were informed and helpful. I found the prices truly reasonable. I will be back to purchase 3 or 4 trees for my backyard. I did alot of looking at different places and bought from Springtime Farms.
Good
Excellent place to shop for plants. Very hidden place to get to
I first learned of Springtime Farms at their booth at the flea market. I noticed the healthiest butterfly bush that Ive ever seen in their display, and struck up a conversation with the attendant. We discussed the butterfly bush and then I inquired if there were any bougainvillea available. He said that there werent any at their booth but they had a nice selection at the nursery.Having a little bit of time to kill, I went to the nursery and was very impressed by its appearance and even more so by the selection of plants, the quality of the plants and the reasonable prices. I selected a butterfly bush and a bougainvillea and would have selected several other varieties but didnt have room in my car.I can truly state that Springtime Farms is one of the very best nurseries Ive ever visited.
Very nice nursery. Staff is very helpful and patient and pleasant to work with. Prices are good. Plants are great and much more to choose from. Weve been nack 3 times. A great place to go!
Springtime Farms is amazing. A huge selection of very reasonably priced plants. Being a new Florida resident gardening is a bit of a challenge. Joe and his Dad helped us choose the right plants, how to plant and care for them. Thanks so much, we’ll be back
Have gone here for years and the plants are always very healthy. Expert advice of the employees always.
Awesome place! Felt like a kid in a candy store! Absolutely stunning bougainvillea! Bought some plants to bring a variety of butterflies to my garden. Will definitely be my go to place for all my planting needs!
Found these wonderful people at the Home and Garden Show in Venice Florida. Drove out to their facility and its just wonderful . ALL the plants available,, theyre all healthy, theyre beautiful. My free 1 gallon plant is doing really well ! Ill definitely be going back.
So much information, so helpful.Joe helped answer all our questions and offered great suggestions. We will buy all our landscaping plants from Springtime NurseryThanks for all your help and great customer service
Very healthy beautiful plants
I had a wonderful experience!! I was hesitant on whether to drive all the way out there or not and it was absolutely worth it. I got 2 succulents and a pitcher plant Ive been looking for everywhere! Awesome prices, awesome people!! Ive learned so much valuable information from one of their employees (of course Im bad with names). Super informative. Plants are all healthy as can be. I will be a repeat customer.
Unique place, great for family
This place isnt easy to get to But its worth it. Nice people and the prices and selection cant be beat! Plants are healthy and the people that work there really know what they are talking about. Been there twice and am going back with a friend of mine to pick up more plants. If youre planting more that a couple of items you will save a bunch of money.
I was very impressed with the knowledge of the help. He took the time to explain how to plant the beautiful plants, how much sun orshade, and water. Prices are worth the trip. Will keep shopping at Springtime Farms.
Nice nursery decent prices. The 2 people that helped us were very nice and helpful. But it is down a dirt road.
This is our go to place! The selections are incredible. Our recent purchase was a Christmas Palm and a Sweet Almond. But Ill also stop in for small plants to attract butterflies.
Went to Springtime Farms and ordered trees on Saturday. They were able to deliver and plant on Monday. We were very satisfied with the service and price! Will be back
Great prices and very helpful. They have a HUGE selection of plants and trees. I went back three times in 1 week. Look forward to doing business with them in the future.
Very nice place everything is very organized and a lot of selection. Enjoyed my visit there everybody was friendly and very helpful. Prices were very reasonable
