We launched our kayaks here recently since Manatee Park has made it extremely difficult to get the kayaks back to the launch point. It was so nice to be able to pull the truck right up to the launch area! The creek is pretty wide and shallow so this launch is really for non-motorized boats. We were able to paddle out to the Caloosahatchee river without any difficulty. The only issue with the River was that there was a lot of boat traffic so we were not able to cross over the channel. There is also a boardwalk on site but by the time we returned it was dusk so we headed home. We hope to return back soon to check out the boardwalk area and hopefully cross over the river to get to the Manatee area on the other side

It looks very pretty and a good place to walk however you may not want to go during the rainy season because it definitely floods on the trails and you will not be able to go around it

At the junction of Bayshore and Route 75, this little oasis is tucked away behind Loves Truck Stop. Although you can hear traffic very close by, you do get to relax with the sites. Watch out in rainy season as trails can get flooded.

Easy access and pets allowed...used bug spray but still suffering from dozens of mosquito bites. Be sure to pay for parking $1/hour, $5/day, or $18 fine!

A great place to put in your kayak. Go left under the interstate for a way or go right on down to the the Caloosahatchee River.

This is a great little Preserve I got to see to Wild Hogs while I was in the area and there is much wildlife such as Birds and even a snake non-venomous. Its always clean its right off S.R 82 so you can feel safe to come inside and enjoy some time with your family theres a nature walk but I havent quite been through it just yet. I see people here quite often but its never crowded. Please make sure you stop by and see this place off of State Road 82 its worth it

Small, local preserve. Great spot to drop in kayaks along the Caloosahatchee. Short hike/walk for enjoying nature. Bring appropriate clothing and repellent for mosquitoes. Stays wet during rainy season.

Its a nice preserve but noisy because its right next to I 75! They have a small boat ramp area for kayaks and canoes and is part of the great blue caloosahatchee trailway. Have to pay to park and theirs only approximately 5 or 6 slots for parking. Clean single restroom.

Have always loved walking my dogs here over the past few yrs, but last time I was there a homeless man was living under the picnic pavilion and a guy I feel fairly certain was a drug dealer was hanging in the parking lot. He passed us in his black jeep on our way in, parked, and sat in it until we approached the parking area. At that point he got out, made eye contact and stood watching us. We ignored him and as we left, so did he. In addition, there are now homeless squatters hanging out near the Loves. They have campers parked around and add a general feeling of unease to what was once a pretty nice little area. The employees said they have run them off before as have the police, but they keep coming back. I hope they clean this area up soon, it seems to be attracting some unfortunate elements.

I went with my two boys (5 and 1 1/2). They enjoy walking so they had a good time. It was a fairly short walk, but it was nice anyway. Not much to see, but you can bring a lunch and sit at the bench and then check out the birds at the end of the walk.
