I went I found a spot went back and paid only 12 bucks to put a tent down. Got sleep. Woke up use the restrooms and took a shower let it up and left. Everyone seemed to be nice that I met. The police Circle through a lot and makes you feel safe. Oh and they even talk and laugh with you.

Ever since I was a kid, I have loved this park. I always came to play on the playground and always played in the little baseball field located in the center of the park. There is a nice little lake that has plenty of fish to make a fun little fishing day. My only concern for this park is the lack of bathrooms. You have to go quite a distance to use them, if that. I wish they would update some of their bathrooms and facilities so that the community can feel more comfortable. I love the cowboy trail that is right by the river. It is a great place to go on a walk, bike, run, jog, etc. Beautiful scenery.

This park does not take reservations so at times you would be lucky to get a spot. Sites with power are very spacious with a concrete pad. Lovely park. Would definitely stay again.

This is a nice park and place to stop to stretch your legs if you are driving through or meeting someone in Norfolk. It also appears to have a lot of camping spots if you are needing an inexpensive place to stay the night.

Spent the weekend watching softball here. Nice clean complex, and friendly local people. Clean restrooms, plenty of parking and several play areas for the kids. Also lots of shade and bleachers for those hot Nebraska afternoons. They even had courtesy golf carts to take older folks to their cars or the bleachers.

The Rv and tent camping area is the most well laid out and organized Ive seen on the road. There are signs where to drive immediately upon entering, a clearly stating where to pay fees, where to dump, and the parks rules. I saw custodians and police routinely patrolling to make sure it was quiet and safe. There is a beautiful bike path within walking distance from my trailer. There is a nice bathroom with 1 shower in it.The HUGE cottonwood trees provide much appreciated shade from the hot summer sun.

Havent even made it through the night yet!! Its 11 PM. Cops have been through 3 times in less than an hr but folks that are not camping still in the park, loud and revving car engines. Apparently, unlike a huge majority of parks, this one doesnt have hrs of use. Most parks close at sundown and non paying camp visitors must leave by xx PM. Well not here!! Very disappointed. This is a nice place but no peace and quiet here. Paid for two night but packing up in the morning. Oh and its Monday not a weekend.
