I have been there today and it is very funI had a picnic at the place!I hope you have an awesome night and enjoy your dinner!
It is a really cozy park. Clean and quiet. There are bushy shades provided if you dont want to be in the sun.
Very pretty little park. Perfrcy6for a picnic or to practice some yoga.
Its a nice place to launch if youre looking for easy access to the Wisconsin waterside or the naval base
Its a beautiful lesser-known spot in Norfolk that just received an obstacle course and is in the process of getting a new playground. I look forward to the progress.
An absolutely astounding park. The park is calm and not heavily trafficked, perfect for those with social anxiety and the like. The scenery of the nearby river provides for tranquility. This park is my favorite place to go when the stresses of life become overwhelming.
Newly added assistive kayak or canoe launcher is part of what makes Norfolk great. The ongoing revitalization of the ERR, biking and running paths, and plenty of available parking between downtown and craft breweries over in Chelsea make for a great afternoon in this area.
Nice views and a pleasant place to walk around and explore
I think there is more coming to this park in the future. But I love the quite too!
This is a really nice place to go for a short stroll and admire some of our nation’s destroyers. The park itself is very quaint with benches scattered along the paved pathway.
Poorly maintained, very overgrown.
Lovely views, great place for a picnic
Cute trail to run and bring a chair sit in sunWhere to park though?
Pleasant little park, tucked out of the way. Quiet and peaceful, with benches to sit and look at the water.
Quiet and quaint. No local parking.
Quiet reflection with the best view
Sit here everyday during lunch time so relaxing.
Private and quiet
My favorite park. Its very quiet. My dogs love to sit by the river . We all take naps there.
Good views, nice place to walk
Great, quiet open space on the water. You can only get here by walking on the Elizabeth River Trail (from the south, during midtown tunnel construction), but being so tucked away can be good. Several benches, path that goes around the park; a very nice place to chill and have a picnic.
Beautiful little park, right off the Elizabeth River trail. Great view of military dock at Lamberts Point and West Norfolk container terminal. Some historic and environmental information signs, as well as old anchors.
Nice little park with a walking path and a riverfront view.
Beautiful scenery
Fun for a picnic, nice sunset
Beautiful park. Walk, bike, or even drive there. There are parking spots at Fort Norfolk building.
A nice, quiet park along the Elizabeth River Trail with a cool view of the river.Several informative markers and objects there denoting the early Norfolk shipping trade.
Great place to hang a hammock and watch the river.
I like to sit on the rocks when nobody is there to reflect on my life, as the reflection of the water burns my face from its immense rays.
A great place to see river wildlife and watch river traffic. Weve even watched holiday fireworks there.
Beautiful, well kept park
Cute little park where you can watch ships come and go. Good view of the container cranes on the port.
Go there. Thatll be better than trying to describe it...
Its getting there that will be a problem. Take a bus or train because parking in the area is not good.
NIce views of the water.
My favorite park in Norfolk. My pups love it too.
A nice quiet place to sit and think
Perfect place for a brisk walk or quick jog
This is your last stop before the Outer Banks to get premium and quality produce and baked goods, dont miss it!!!
Very quiet. Right on the Elizabeth River.
No fun allowed
Good place for a walk during lunch breaks.
Great place!
Sick spot
Thanks
Good to explore
Beautiful,clean
Dont even know where this park is nor do I care.
Used to be an obscure detour off the ert. Now it has a kayak launch, and little play ground and artsey patch of brickwork. I guess its progress . But sometimes less is more
