Well,during the day,the park is cool but you dont want to be there once the sun is out, I mean the stree lights in the park are not working leaving everywhere dark and makes me feel uncomfortable. Asides the darkness issue,its a nice park to visit.

My daughter and I have waited for weeks for them to finish the updates to the park, and they did not disappoint. Since its one of 2 parks close to our house we find ourselves coming here more often now than the other park, although on the really hot days we visit the other one since they have sprinklers lol

Not a bad place to workout, its a bit smaller than I like. A bit dirty from people not using the trash cans that are provided.

Peaceful place to relax and possibly grab a hotdog. Take a jog with your little dog or bring your kids to the playground. Visit Vailsburg Park if your in the area. Note: might not be the same park after nightfall.

This park is one of the cleanest and fun to go to in Newark, Lots of swings and slides for the kids to enjoy and soft ground for the kids who love to run.

This park rocks because it looks awsome when it is blooming with flowers. I will be going there in two weeks. When time is free family is go and spend the whole with your family I love this place when it green during summer.

Ive been going to this park since i was a kid: Always well kept an clean, a nice little place to chill out. It has a play area for children, baseball field an a big open area to do whatever.

Only the priviliged can work here while my property taxes goes up and up and up and not used properly. Sad

Nice place for jogging and walking or just to sit down and watch others having in some other sporting activities like basketball and baseball. Free parking on street.

VP is a beautiful, under utilized gem in the raw situated in a historic setting. This is a great County park for jogging, bringing the kids to run around, has an outdoor playground with swings. Its frequented by large flocks of geese in their season....fishing is allowed from time to time by County...there​ is an extremely well maintained soccer field with synthetic turf.

It was clean family orientated with a lot of different activities To partake in or just be an observer

A decent park to bring friends and or family. The only drawback is that there is no football field. There is however 3 baseball diamonds so thats always something to keep in mind.

Double tree hotel is the best. Their service is absolutely the best so I would definitely recommend someone staying there.
