Ive always loved this park! The greenery, the trail, the geese that sometimes look aggressive but leave you alone if you leave them alone, the older men who bring out their miniature boats over the weekends (pre-Covid days) and walking around and chasing my nephews and niece. Ive come here on and off over the past 11-12 years. The only minus is a lot of bird droppings at certain times so you need to watch your steps, but its a great, scenic little park. I bought lunch nearby today and decided to sit on one of the benches to eat it.

Nice place for a walk. Just the right amount of people to feel comfortable. There were so many ducks. I saw one with bright orange eyes and bill.

Loved this place. Its in newark and it had parking spot. Theres also a trails to walk around the lake. Sunset looks beautiful from here. Good neighborhood.

Very pretty little local park. It has a nice lake and is full of very friendly people, it is very nice at sunset and there are tons of different species of ducks and geese and other interesting birds there. Good place to take the dogs for a walk or for for a run/jog or go for a stroll. Nice neighborhood. Good place to bring kids. Parking is on the street but usually easy to get a spot right there.

I like coming here its never crowed. Great to relax and watch the ducks, have a good walk and even great for a nice jog. Only problem is the duck poop all over the place. So watch your step..lol

I have been going to this Lake since I was a teenager. It is absolutely gorgeous in you have the opportunity to see a bunch of geese! There are usually quite a bit of people taking walks by themselves or walking with their dogs. Its not the kind of place I would want to go walking by myself after dark but then again that I dont know where is, lol. Also its a totally manageable lap around the lake...maybe 15 minutes if you walk at an average pace. Oh and you get to admire all the rich folks homes in the middle on the island.

I really do enjoy going to this park.Its really wonderful to see the little islands that have Egrets that are nesting there.I was surprised to see that as usually I would notice them mostly at the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge.A nice place to get your morning exercise.You can get a little crowded at times but still enjoyable.

Lake is murky and algae filled so anything caught here is not for consumption. Its unfortunate because several decades ago, it was clean and well maintained according to the locals that grew up fishing this lake. Catch & release is best.

We love this park

My son lives in the area. Love the beautiful are with the various ducks and homes around the Lake...shopping areas abound. Chooses of foods and multi stores. Close to drive to Mall. Wonderful new restaurants to try.

Its peaceful. You can see lots of birds and enjoy their activities. The pathway is more or less bordered with eucalyptus trees that spreads good medicinal smell around. You can walk around the lake (1.25 miles) and have good time. Benches and dustbins are kept at regular intervals.Overall, its a good place to spend and enjoy your time here.

I enjoy walking around this lake with my infant he enjoys seeing the ducks and geese.very happy to have something as neat as this so close to home.

Visiting for the first time during my brief stay here in CA. Though it was not a sunny day, I came here with lot of enthusiasm and expectations as a Wildlife Photographer. Regular joggers and walkers, both from the Teens and seniors were seen enjoying their daily drills. Though there was a Notice Board prohibiting visitors against feeding the Birds, one can see the people from the neighborhood giving them the feed. ( As an ardent birder, Im against this practice.). The lake is kept neat and clean, though surrounded by residential apartments and Colony. I have enjoyed the activities of Geese, Ducks and Gulls. Quite a lot of Photographs I cd click. Had there been sun above, it wd have been a Bonus. Nevertheless the good ones are posted here. No doubt a Birders paradise!Demands another visit.!!

Nice walk around the pond. Many different types of geese and ducks. As far as I can tell, there is no restroom, although it appears one is being built or being renovated.

Small community park with man-made lake in the middle. No play ground for children. Walking/jogging trail around lake.

My wife takes our dog Maggie on daily nature walks around the park. Right now there are a number of Canadian Geese families ranging in age from a few days to almost able to fly. There are now a couple of domestic geese young goslings. Her favorite though are the Grebe family. They have a floating nest and about 3 chicks.

Great place to walk and view (tamed) wildlife. If you can get past some parts where it smells, and other parts with geese droppings then you are good! I do not like the fact that you are not supposed to feed the ducks and geese anymore. That is always one of the highlights of a childs life by being able to interact like that with nature. The geese and ducks are really docile (used to humans) where they walk up to you anyways. Its kinda why the birds go there

Loved it!

Good for a quick walk around a manmade lake. It is in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Its safe. There are small exercise stations around if you want to do push ups, pull ups, stretches, etc. There are also tons waterfowl to feed, if thats your thing.

Well maintained and clean enough to walk and run around. Quiet as well. Pleasant place to hang out.

Calmness

Went for a stroll. Very peaceful. Not a big park/lake. The lakes falls right between the neighborhood near by. Not crowded at all. We walked around the entire lake and took approximately 20 mins. Might take more time if you take a break at the benches to enjoy the view. Saw few families with kids. Has road side parking. Mostly empty. Would definitely recommend it especially during spring time!
