I love this place! Me n my son come here often n always have a great time. Perfect spot for a few good hours of family fun. Lots to do!! And its not expensive at all. Wanna get the kids out the house for a few hours, actually have fun n not go broke? Go to Vinces!!

I love their employees Dominic was so helpful, the games are fun but the place may need an upgrade but the prices make people happy. The food was good, the space is large and the games need extra work but the kids were happy and the soft play area was reasonably priced and the location offers plenty if parking. We looked it out in our way back to Virginia!

Great place for fun with the family. My wife and I went out to play their miniature golf course, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Will head back again when it warms up.

Went today for the first time. Not super expensive. Lots of options on stuff to do. Friendly staff. Ill be going back at my earliest convenience. I really enjoyed myself this morning.

Overall great experience. I had so much fun with the batting cages, air hockey and mini golf. Very inexpensive! The only negative was the mini golf course was a little wore down and definitely due for an upgrade. Although the course was run down you only pay $7 for two 17 hole courses so you get your moneys worth.

Put put is a little rough. You can tell there has been zero upkeep. Fun for a quick kids trip. Fun batting cages. Very outdated. Staff is friendly.

Social distancing in play however not enough game systems to be social distanced. One person can play basketball, one person can play skee ball, games are always 3 or 4 tokens and game last 3 seconds..too expensive to have such lame games and the prizes are non existent...the best thing youll get there is a tootsie roll! Half the time you put in a token and it doesnt work, dont waste your time.

They have cleaned it up, inside and out. Machines that dont work are clearly marked when they were out of order, which is different from before. We took our grandson to play mini golf, and then we went inside to play arcade games. We all had a blast.

Mini golf course isnt in the best shape, but its inexpensive and my kid loves to go there. Enough games inside too.

A gem. Bought 20$ of tokens, paid 2.75$ a piece for 3 kids to go in the play area (got 4 tokens each back so really only 1.75$). Gave the kids 10 tokens, then had them hop in the play area, 10 more tokens... until I ran out. Paid another 10$ in food/drink. The kids got to buy toys with tickets like at any arcade. The staff was extremely friendly and patient. I thought it would be super busy because of the heat, but it was not busy. Just a few other families and no summer camps. Overall spent about 3 hrs here. 3, 8, 9 y/o.Also, batting cages are there and you can borrow a bat with collateral. Mini golf. Par 3 golf. Plenty of stuff to do.Some games were out of order, some were old and worn, but the kids dont care about that and had a blast for a reasonable price: 30$, 3 kids, 3 hrs. And my wife and I even played some games too!

Prefect family fun! We love the soft play for the kids and the price is amazing! Looking for something to do inside with the kids without breaking your pockets this is the place to go! The staff is super friendly and always so helpful.

My daughter & I were looking for something fun to do on a nice day after a week of rain & clouds. WE FOUND IT! Friendly staff, happy customers, good old fashioned family fun with some classic & vintage arcade games. NICE!!!

This place is great for an inexpensive time with your kids. Theyve got an inexpensive play area for your kids and the arcades arent too expensive. The giant indoor batting cage is also one of a kind!

We did mini golf and it was okay. I used a coupon from the Clipper Magazine. If I had paid full price then I would have been disappointed. Their prices are expensive, especially the batting cages. I would consider this a low quality Chuck e Cheese

Great place for mini golf and batting cages. There are still some but not many old school arcade games. The tickets to prize ratio is not great.

Decided to venture here with our 2 toddlers one day. They had a blast! Prices were reasonable, had a climbing section for younger kids, the games were nostalgic for me ( They had Gauntlet!!), and snacks to feed our hungry kids. It is a place to have a fun few hours with the family.

The batting cages are the best thing this place has to offer. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They have a nice party area. A good sized ball pit for the little ones. The mini golf was outside, too cold to play. The down side is that a lot of the games are old and dont function properly.

August Update: Mini golf course has been cleaned up. Some of the water features are now working and the entire area has a better look and atmosphere. Some of the animal sculptures need either an overhaul or replacement after years of service, but the course is still a nice place to bring the kids for a quick round of putt-putt.Original 2019 post: The mini golf course has become dilapidated but is still functional. Provides a simple good time at a reasonable price.

Ive been coming here since I was a little girl. Im 25 now, and i still love coming here. Great prices, great staff (most of the time). My only issue I really have is most of the games were out of order or completely not working but would take your money. Hopefully its fixed becauseI do like coming, and its close to me.

Fun place to take my 4 year old. The play park is less than $3 and they have a ballpit with slides. Lots of fun! The only downside is that machines that are not working properly are not labeled so its only after you deposit your coins that you know they dont work. Ive never complained to management about this for one reason. When I bought up an issue I was having with one of the teens that work there,he could care less! Lol. I get that vibe each time I go but for $20 or less it continues to be worth it for my little one to tire herself out! I would recommend this place.

This is another place I would recommend you go to if you want to have fun. All the games are fun to play. But thats not all. There are batting cages and a golf course also. Food tastes good too. From Ms.Pacman to Skee Ball, this place has pretty any game you could imagine. The staff is not just helpful, theyre also very friendly I should say. Each game is 1 to 4 tokens to play. Whether you are a kid or an adult, I am sure you will have fun here. This place has things for people of all ages to do. So if youre planning to go anywhere this summer, this is a place I will recommend you to go.

Great place for the kids. During the offseason a baseball. Always a good environment. Concession stands with plenty of hand food and snacks. For on the move going back and forth to the batting cages.

Reasonably priced, inside play area was great size for my 3 and 4 yr. old. Hoping to try the golf next summer, but I hear the par 3 course is quality, and from the looks of it Id have to agree.

Loved this place ever since I was a kid, a bit rustic but fun none the less. I usually just come for the batting cages but always end up throwing some money into those old arcade machines. Decent mini golf and staff is always accommodating. Never tried the food.

I LOVE this place, nothing else like it in Newark. Great games, ball pit for the kids, pizza, the best dang giant cookies (and the are baked there!). I go there all the time with my family, even my 2 year old loves it. The selection of prizes is awesome and always changing. The owner always welcomes us with a huge smile. Its just excellent, worth the trip. Especially for the amazing mini golf!!! Check it out everyone!!!!!!

Used to come here when I was a kid. Now I take my children (6&7) here and they love it. So glad we have a cool little family friendly establishment like this in our town. Twenty bucks and the kids can play in the indoor play area and get tokens to play on all the cool retro arcade games and ticket games. The prize counter ticket values are reasonable. Prices for the snack bar are reasonable, putt putt golf is a nice little time killer on nice day. The staff is always friendly and patient with the kids. Only good things to say about this place! We take the kids for a night out here at least monthly. They love it! So glad Vinces is staying in Newark and I will continue to support their business to make sure :)

We had a birthday party for my 3 year old grandson who had a ball with other kids older than him. They have a little bit of games,rides, baseball cage,golf etc to keep every age entertained. For games you win tickets to apply to gifts you want. Everyone of all ages had a great time. Especially my grandson, mom and dad.

I went here for mini golf and the price is excellent and they have 2 courses you can play. They are alittle old looking and simple holes but still fun and for the price and since you get to play both courses for that price I say its a good place. I will be coming back to try their Par 3 course they have.

Prices are super reasonable. You can play a while without spending much money. Employees were very helpful and enthusiastic.

This place is still the same since I went there as a kid. Ive always loved this place especially because they have mini golf which is my favorite. Great prices, family friendly, good atmosphere. They have an adult 18 hole course outside, along with batting cages, and plenty of games inside and a ball pit jungle gym climbing thing that will keep kids entertained for hours, also great for birthday parties. Yes, they also serve food and drinks.

Cheap place for the kids to play in bad weather! Play area is only $2 and some change. Plus you get a few tokens for the arcade. Kids love it!

The kids (12,11,9) had SO MUCH FUN! All the games worked & the staff was incredibly friendly. The kids loved the physical tokens & receiving the physical tickets vs using game cards at other establishments. The prices were not overly expensive & it was a great trip for the scorching hot summer day! We will definitely be back!

Batting cages were nice to have indoor in the off-season. Lighting could have been better for the cages. Aging games where some didnt work.

Great Par three course to refine your mid-range swing

My kids enjoy coming here to play games and miniature golf. There is a good variety of arcade games, a batting cage, a play area for younger children and a decent miniature golf course. The only problem Ive come across is having to wait in line every time we lose tokens in a game (which is not that often) as there isnt anyone on the floor assigned to that task.

The decor is outdated. It could use some renovations but its fun for a group outing.

35-holes of mini-golf for about $6 per person (chance to win a free game at the end).Baseball and softball batting cages with gear included.Par-3 golf for $13 per person.Snack bar and arcade.Overall, reasonably priced and kid friendly. The mini-golf area could stand a bit of a remodel, but not a bad place for the price.

My daughter wanted to come here for her B-Day and had a blast. A lot of the games are pretty good for the asking price which is anywhere from 2-4 tokens per game. The play area is a good way to work up a apatite and for the kids to get their exercise. The only thing I would change is the token deals and to lower some of their ticket prizes. All on all it was pretty cool!

This place was an anchor in my childhood. Growing up in brookside gave you limited things to do as a kid, but Vinces was always there. Whether you wanted to practice baseball, play some putt putt, or just chill out with arcade games, you were never bored if you were here.

Vinces sports center holds a special place in my heart! My dad used to take me here all the time when I was a kid. It reminds me all the time of just being a kid. Ripping balls in the batting cages. I love that it has a mini stadium built up. That makes those long fly balls more satisfying to hit and hear them smack off the wood. Nostalgia oozes out of Vinces. Ive gone here through highschool when my friends and I would golf on the course out back! I can tell you that if you cant have fun here, you dont have a pulse! Love Vinces sports center! Always a great time!

So its not a terrible place but not a great place . the prices are good. More then half the games either are broken or have something broken on them . they are very worn out . the mini golf and batting cages are good . the staff was awesome . A lot of games steal your tokens . you can see the games are old old old old but still its fun . food is alright . all that maters is the kids had fun the cold clean the place a little better but over all its not a bad place.

What a rad place. Staff is holding it down. Pizza is unreal! Party package is so affordable and the games are tons of fun. Welcome to one of, perhaps the, largest batting cages this side of the Mississippi! Theres a lot of stuff to do here and one experience wasnt enough to take it all in. Can hardly wait to get back here and rock out with some golf clubs. Go here, especially for kids parties, its fun and affordable.

One of my favorite places in the whole world I hit the batting cages my daughters run and play the games we all have a great time as a family.

My 3 year old loved the play area and arcade games. My 7 month old was happy just looking at everything while my older one made freinds in the ball pit and played games to win tickets.

Great Place for a kids birthday party..

Clean and affordable. Some of the games were a little dated, but the kids had a blast.

*Edit* Ive now been informed that my experience here, must have been the result of hallucinations. The owner has assured me that my eyes have deceived me, that I didnt go play a round of put put, with dirt, sticks, and leaves all over the course, with the water system in disrepair and flowing on to the greens, broken decor and an absolute lack of maintenance. I didnt spend much time inside, as to avoid getting tetanus. Ive visited Vinces several times over the years, its been the same since 1990 (as far back as i can remember.) The owner seems to think this review is left out of animosity, but in truth im just telling it like it is. Its sorely in need of refurbishment, its been a staple in our community for my entire life, I would certainly like to see it in better condition, but hiding behind we mop the floors abd dust the helmets wont make it any better.

Quaint little courses, we went for the mini golf. No flashy bells and whistles or animated obstacles or hazards, simply beginners level cement courses.
