This place is amazing! The staff’s manners and professionalism alone was 10/10. The rooms were so pretty and well put together. Very clean and neat. The actual escape experience was such a rush. It was challenging but not frustrating. I’m definitely going back!

One of the best escape rooms Ive ever been to. We dropped in with no appointment and they put us in right away. Had an awesome time doing the wizard room.

Very quarantine friendly. 4 of us went (2 couples) and did two escape rooms. They were clean and had sanitizer available in each room and require you to wear a mask. If youre truly concerned about sanitation, which we were, we bought gloves with us knowing wed be touching all the stuff! Definitely a great break from the normal stay in Friday night routine. We had loads of fun!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had so much fun in the escape room. Extra bonus Captain Blue Hen Comics is a couple of doors down.

Great place to escape the craziness. Amazing experiences with friends and family. So much fun during the corona virus. We have been twice this month. The facility is clean and social distance is kept among staff and participants. Trevor was extremely helpful. We will be back soon!

My friends and I love to go here! The staff is always really nice and helpful. We’ve been going to years and always find ourselves wanting to go back, and it’s become a common birthday event for us all to go to. The rooms are super engaging too!

A group of six of us tried the Socerers Quest. The overall experience was fun, but we did have two instances where technical problems with the equipment impaired our progress and required the monitor to intervene. That was handled very well. Even with those difficulties we were able to use the clues to solve the puzzle within the hour allotted. We found this to be a little more challenging than expected, but it was a great first experience.

I made reservations online then proceeded to go to the wrong location. The staff was very accommodating made a phone call and had a young man drive over and cover our room. I had a great time with my family. Thank you guys! Great job!

Went here late night with some friends, it was so much fun!. Friendly staff, and the rooms have tons of cool secrets and puzzles that really make you think. I will definitely be coming back to try out the other rooms.

IF YOU HAVEN’T BEEN HERE, WHAT’S TAKING YOU SO LONG. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun these escape rooms are. They have a great selection of different rooms. If you like wizardry or chess or puzzles (like me) then The Sorcerers Room is absolutely a must do. I actually did 2 escape rooms back to back and I still can’t wait to go back. This is wonderful for a date night idea or fun with your parents or even a lit group of friends. There is nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do in Delaware right now but if you’ve got the quarantine blues just get your mask and some hand sanitizer and bring yourself down to the Axxiom Escape Rooms. Also big shoutout to Bill for helping us with hints throughout or escape room experience tonight.

I love this place so much! Ive been doing these escape rooms since freshman year of high school when the place was called Exodus. It is such a great way to spend time with friends and family. Even do double and triple dates.

Love this place! Very addicting if you like problem-solving, mysteries and puzzles. Axxiom is a bit more challenging than other Escape Rooms I have been to. It may be meant for more experienced Escape Room Artist or perhaps people who think differently than my friends, family & myself. Either way its a great place to have some FUN!

We did a team building day and we had three separate rooms reserved. My team had an issue 4 minutes into the challenge. We had a prop that broke which was needed to retrieve a piece of the puzzle. We had to go ask a worker for help. Another one of our teams also had an issue as well and had to have their room reset. With that being said, I feel the rooms need more attention to ensure everything is working properly. It seemed as if they let some things go. A couple of things didnt quite go with the theme. I gave 3 stars since in the end it was a challenging room and we were able to figure it out. However, I do suggest that some effort be put into the rooms to make them feel less dated. In the end it was still a great time and we al enjoyed the experience.

My fiancé my son and I had our first escape room experience here today . We chose to do the dragons lair. The man who greeted us was extremely personable. The escape room we chose was awesome. My son is five, and he was not bored, but extremely interactive and excited . I would definitely recommend, and we will be back to try another room !

Awesome ExperienceMy wife, her cousin, and myself had an awesome experience doing the escape room. We did the bank heist room. The room is the hardest to figure out. Unfortunately we did not escape the room, but it was a fun experience. If you are going to do this room its best to have more than 3 people. We will be definitely going back and will try an easier room first. This was my first escape room and my wife and her cousins second time. We definitely recommend Axxiom if your looking to do an escape room.

We did The Heist room with 4 people, which is classified as a 5/5 difficulty. It was DEFINITELY challenging! We needed almost every minute, finishing with only 3 minutes to spare! Not for the faint of heart, and probably too hard for kids, but for our group (all adults) it was the perfect difficulty. The room was also separated into 3 sections, which was a really cool touch. Highly recommend!

Fun. The rooms themselves were decent. We did the pirate one and it was definitely one of the more difficult rooms.

Organized chaos in the lobby, but staff was great at directing everyone where to go. Parking was plentiful, but expensive. We parked on the street at a meter, but there were spots there or you could park at Main St Shopping Center. The room we did with our Girl Scout troop was just hard enough and the girls had fun. I liked that staff took the time to explain what we missed at the end. I recommend this venue for good, clean fun!

Came from the UK for business in the area but had some downtime so my girlfriend and I decided to do an escape room. We arrived without a scheduled time however Geoffrey got us into one of the many rooms they offer. We have done a few escape rooms back home but the Sorcerers Quest here was beyond beautiful, technical yet challenging. Will definitely recommend and please do not hesitate to come to Axxiom for your first or next escape room experience.

This is a GREAT place! The lobby is very colorful and done in great taste. The room we did had amazing set design...we were blown away. The room was really high tech compared to others we have done too. The attitudes of the staff were very welcoming...you can yelp they enjoy their job. We cant wait to come back and do the rest. Me and my family did the Christmas room today. We did escape, barely. It was a great room, very well put together and detail oriented.It was very busy when we got there but the staff handled themselves very good and got us all in our rooms. Thank you for excellent service. This is why we keep coming back.

Weve done a couple rooms here, in the old building and the new. I must say, the New building is AMAZING! Theyve now gone hi tech with the puzzles and games, is fabulous! This time we did the Santa themed room, myself, my friend, my mom, and our two daughters (6 and 11 years old). Even the kids contributed to solving the mystery!

We had a great time doing the Christmas room tonight! There were so many fun aspects and different ways to escape! I always have a great night time here and Dennis did a great job with explanations and clues! Definitely will be coming back soon!

It is a pretty decent place. It is fairly new and you can smell the fresh paint as you walk through the halls. The clues are varied and fun.

I’ve been to this escape room several times. It’s not just the great puzzles and awesome atmosphere they create, it’s the friendly staff and the fact that the rooms are private. Our guide Brett, made the experience so fun; he gave just the right amount of hints and encouragement without giving away the secret. I’ve absolutely loved the Dragon’s Lair, the Pirate’s Cove and just today did the Den of Death. Very creepy, but super fun and challenging. This is a great experience!

These rooms are not my most fav things to 2 do, but it was cool, I think our group was 2 big, but they said only 15% have made it out of the Heist, my advice pay attn 2 everything in the in the room

Had an amazing time in the Den of Death room with my trio. The room was very creative, detailed and challenging, and the perfect amount of scary. The staff is awesome and our game master was very into the theme. Absolutely cannot wait to go back when I can!

We had a great time at our Wanted Dead or Alive room! Lily was really helpful to us. She gave us clues when we needed them. I highly recommend this place to others.

My friend and I did the pirates theme in Newark. The escape room started out just fine. When we got to the second room, there were supposed to be locked items for us to unlock. The goal of room was to find the treasure chest. We realized that the staff had not locked the treasure chest nor another item in the same room. It defeated the purpose of being in the escape room.

We frequently visit this place. The rooms are great and the place is maintained well. We have been to some run down rooms before, but this place is definitely worth checking out. Youll like it!

We just went to the wizard themed escape room with 3 tweens and it was so fun! Really impressive props and a unique experience! A great birthday idea for teens.

This. Was. Awful. 1. A lock was already opened for us. Ive done 25+ escape rooms and Im pretty sure the point is to unlock the locks, no? Then -- without giving anything away in the Western themed room, the last mechanism was faulty. We had all of the right answers. The girl came in and showed us how it worked at the end and even she couldnt do it properly. This is the fourth escape room weve done with this company and since I cant really trust them to properly test their puzzles to make sure they actually work, I doubt well be back. No apology from the staff either -- well work on it. Uhh, ok. The other clues werent great either. The room was outdated and looked like someone threw together an escape room ten years ago and just let it go. Disappointing to say the least. The clues dont make sense. At one point the clue told us to do the opposite of what we were doing -- and the cluemaster had the audacity to argue with us and say that it never said that. Then again, in a very public conversation in the lobby, she said she was really working on her tan for her license photo. Cool. This experience lacked professionalism and was a complete waste of money. I felt gross when I left. Stay away from the outlaw room. Due to faulty mechanisms, its 100% unsolvable. Even for the staff -- which made me laugh out loud when she couldnt even do it.

My gf & I went here for my birthday & we absolutely loved it. We did the Den Of Death escape room. The room itself & the puzzles were intricate & well executed. We didnt make it out but wed definitely give it another shot.

Absolutely incredible production values. We did two rooms- the carnival and sorcery rooms. The best escape rooms we have ever done, and weve done quite a few at this point. We were so impressed by the carnival room that we immediately turned around went back in. Yes, they were that great. Highly, highly, recommended.Please note that all reviews over 1.5 years ago are null and void. They changed locations and have completely remodeled, sporting much better puzzles and room design.

The chest game was the most difficult but other than that it was good. The dragon in the chest room was really cool. Dont bring kids! Ashlynn was very helpful and a great employee!

My friend and I did the Walking Dead room together. We really had a lot of fun. The room was was beautifully designed, and we really liked the decorations. The clues could have been a little better coordinated, but all in all it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and overall I thought the room was so cool. Will be coming back again!

My boyfriend surprised me with an escape room for my birthday and it was so fun!! Although we didnt escape it was a great time. The rooms were just hard enough where we felt challenged but it wasnt unbeatable. Will definitely be going back soon!

I had experience in other escape room and this I really didnt like it. Tons of meaningless distractors, illogical and very unintuitive. The team was very nice and helpful though. This is not a chat, so I cant reply. My experience was in December, and I wont go again. Today I only edited the last part of original evaluation. Now you are becoming ANNOYING.

Booked a run of the pirate treasure escape. You have 60 minutes to unlock the treasure. I havent had this much fun while being so frustrated in a long time. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The facility was very clean and the fine details and decorations were spot on. I will definitely be back!!

I did the Sorcerer’s Quest room and the Wanted Dead or Alive. They were both SUPER fun! I love how interactive the puzzles are and everyone is really nice. It’s in the perfect location on Main Street, too!

Omg this was so much fun. We did the heist AMD it was the hardest room and we were literally almost done we had only two more steps and we would have made it out with all money and gold but we got stuck at the beginning. If you have ever wanted to do an escape room DO IT!!!!!!

Its the first room i did in Delaware and the first room I have not escaped. Challenge accepted, we will return and get the gold from the bank vault.***update:When on a staff hangout with my school and we did the Sorcers Quest. There was 8 of us in a room and we had the most difficult time solving it. Thank God for clues and dumb luck. It does promote team work, critical thinking and fun. So if your an admin or a team lead carry a few people who might need to work together or as an incentive or grade level team builder.

We enjoyed this place back when it was Exodus however the rooms were full of combination locks which became pretty repetitive. However since they rebranded to Axxiom, the rooms have been completely revamped. The rooms are more fun and involve much more interactive puzzles than previously before. The rooms also all involve a story-line now that gives it a more adventure feel.

Fun, challenging. Ive done several rooms here. The Christmas themed one is challenging, escaped with 6 minutes to spare, but felt more chaotic than most, no neat ending. Red herrings are a good idea, but makes the room feel unresolved.

Katie from the Wilmington store referred me to the Newark store. We went and did the Socerers Quest room and the Wanted Dead or Alive room. We had a great time in both rooms, it was so much fun. Flor put us in the sorcerers Quest room and Mario put us in the wanted dead or alive and both of them were so friendly and made us laugh. I highly recommended this company!

Every room that I have gone thought at the Newark location.I had a good time they are fun and the room themselves are so declrated in the best way.It reals so real.I have been through 3 rooms and I was want to go do antithetical one.Also the employees are Amazing they are so nice but make sure you follow rules and regulation which someone places aren’t so stricted on.I love going and I would do them all over again if I had the money to do so.

Axxiom Escape Rooms have an excellent, well-trained team! Every time I had come, the staff always presented with a warm welcome & answered any questions I had. Leandro Gio, in particular, made the experience more enjoyable. He always had a smile on his face & was interactive from check-in/ explaining the rules to the see-you-soon, making you want to come back again! The rooms are clean & prepared before your arrival, so there is really almost little to no waiting time. I highly recommend Axxiom for family and friends as it is one of the fun-things-to-do-in-DE that gives admirable service!

Understaffed, unable to provide technical assistance and were unable to provide clues in a timely manner. Over ten minutes were wasted waiting on clues. When spoke with staff about the problems, we were simply ignored. Will definitely not return nor will I recommend this establishment to anyone.
