Was visiting Shark Park NSB, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida with my family, and had a very pleasant time with the owner and his staff. Scott took the time to show us around the islands they search for sharks, and explain why they are doing this type of ecological study of sharks in their environment with and without humans. I was very please to learn that all the sharks they have here are released once they are rehabilitated, and my wife has a new understanding of why sharks are important to our oceanic environment. I will definitely be planning a second trip back to Shark Park NSB, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida the next time I am in Florida.

This is such a fun and very informative place to go!! We learned tons of information on sharks, hunted sharks teeth and even went on the shark expedition (at an extra $10/person but definitely worth it.) We have already been back ince and will be back many more times. Scott and his crew are awesome!!

An attraction you dont want to miss! Such a great, hands on, interactive experience perfect for the whole family. We have a 4 year old and an 18 month old and they both were entertained throughout the whole visit. Mr. Scott was extremely patient and knowledgeable and we learned so much without feeling like we were in school or a stuffy museum. We cant wait to come back for the beach expedition.

Man, listening to Scott with his knowledge and enthusiasm for shark information was infectious and we could have listened to him all day, however, the day we went was totally overbooked and there was standing room only in the shop so it was very hot plus people in the back were very talkative as they were not engaged because it was just too crowded. With that size crowd, it took an exorbitant amount of time to pet the sharks plus seating was limited. The beach fishing was fun and the crew was informative and friendly. It may be good to handout a small paper on directions to the beach for tourists since we had to navigate through traffic and had the potential to lose the caravan. Experience has great potential but I think there needs to be a cap or limit on people for each excursion.

This was a wonderful experience even though due to weather we werent able to do much spotting or catch and tag a shark. Scott is very passionate about changing the views of sharks as well as learning more about them and building desire within the youth. He was very hands on with the kids as they will find out the answers we dont know today. What a small little hidden gem this place is in NSB that I just happened upon through another website. Extremely affordable... $10 adults, $8.50 kids. The experience within the building, outside hunting shark teeth, and on the beach were fantastic...like I said...even though we didnt get the FULL experience. Definitely worth it....plus, they welcome you back over and over for free after first visit! Love that they are doing research and trying to change views about sharks in the Shark Capitol of the World!!

What a cool place to visit! New Smyrna Beach is the Shark Capital of the World...so there should be a Shark Park! Its a fun and unique educational experience for everyone. Seeing the sharks up close in the tanks is exciting but viewing them from the drone on the beach is awesome too! Fun for kids and adults, dont miss this place.

Scott was passionate in his delivery of the information on sharks and the experience was great. The entire staff was terrific and we enjoyed talking to all of them as we learned more on the shoreline. We had a great time holding a baby shark, finding shark teeth in the sand outside the building and heading to the beach to try catching a shark. The ocean was a bit too gnarly for fishing, but we look forward to trying again tomorrow.

This was quite an experience, very informative in a fun way. Scott is very knowledgeable and presents the info in an entertaining way. We could not attend the late afternoon trip to the beach to help catch, tag and release sharks but definitely will next time.

A great experience - Scott is a pleasure to work with and while I regret we couldnt make it to the end-of-day finale, I am sure it would have been awesome. We could have listened and learned from Scott all day - and he went above and beyond to help us on to our next adventure - suggesting a different route that had a great payoff! Thanks Scott, and good luck!

Awesome experience with the family! We live in NSB and wanted to educate our two (4 & 1) boys about sharks since we plan on having them surfing soon. From the moment we arrived they were able to dig shark teeth up in the sand and use the cards inside to identify which creature they came from. After which they were able to feed the smaller shark in the front and see the brand new bonnet head Scott just brought in that morning. We finished later in the day meeting Scott at the beach to do some surf fishing. The boys were so excited to catch and tag a shark before releasing it back to the wild. Such a cool idea for NSB. Everyone had a total blast. Well be back for sure. Thanks SP!

My wife, daughter and I had the opportunity to visit Shark Park NSB and we had a great time. New Smyrna Beach has a very healthy shark population and Shark Park NSB offered a unique experience to learn more about their habitat. The whole crew there does a great job entertaining as well.

Our family had a great time at Shark Park. First half of experience was informative (about 45-60 minutes). Our oldest 2 kids founds this part mildly interesting the youngest not so much. 9 yr olds dont always have the longest attention span. I found the talk interesting, could have shaved off about 10-15 minutes and would have felt perfect. Not a knock on the content, just a tad lengthy. After the talk the kiddos got to feel the little shark in the tank then look for shark teeth outside in the sand. The last part of the experience was by far the best IMO. We traveled to the beach by caravan and JJ (super nice young man) hooked a couple sharks for us to quickly observe, then he released them back into the ocean. It was so awesome being that close to the sharks. JJ was super cool with all the kids, very personable, and is a natural at what he does. We finished the afternoon combing the beach for shark teeth and found about a dozen.Thank you Shark Park for such a great family outing, we had a blast.
