Beautiful get park all around. Great boardwalk and view from. At times eerily quiet as you walk along it. Helps to reset ones mind.

Beautiful Florida is disappearing and becoming the new Manhattan. Enjoy what is left of our natural resources before our fragile ecosystem is depleted for condos and town houses. Beautiful and very quiet here.

Very Beautiful. Be safe. Very Wild. Picture perfect. Nice playground are picnic tables. Not water friendly serious alligator territory. Keep dog tight on leash. Endless swamp. Lake is really big too! Undeveloped no houses or docks or condos anywhere in sight. Thats the magnificence of it all. Hope it stays that way.

Great park with a huge boardwalk over the lake and wetlands. Massive old cypress trees are along the shore. There is a nice playground and restrooms.

This is a great park to teach small children about nature and wildlife or just get away from it all and clear your head. Very well maintained facility.

If you like the outdoors you will love this beautiful hike thru the woods around a huge lake along a dock.. very peaceful beautiful safe place to be with the outdoors!! Highly recommend!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to be! Great view to the lake from the boardwalk! It has kids games and good restrooms. Parking spaces might be limited but still enough. They have camping spaces but you need a permit. Access is not easily seen when you are driving so listen to your google maps very carefully! But it was an awesome experience

Beautiful place great fishing

Quiet park with lots of huge cypress trees on beautiful Lake Ashby. It is a little way off SR415, but google will take you straight there. Nice walking trails and boardwalk over part of the lake and through swampy areas. Park has playground and restrooms (always clean), and there is ranger on-site all the time. Great place to take kids fishing or exploring. There is also a boat launch nearby.

Great walking trail. Nice campground. Always well taken care of.

Very quite and isolated. Best time is early if you want to enjoy the place alone.

Great little Park... Rode in, and later out, on a motorcycle, in the rain... With a dog... Entry to the boardwalk was slightly flooded, but still passable.

I had never heard of this park and while at pells nursery for oranges Barbara told me about it. Huge beautiful lake in the woods off a wooded nature trail. Big boardwalk on northwest side of lake .. 1/4 off a mile long. Only been once but coming back. Perhaps to camp as there is a campground.

This place is beautiful.

It has always been a place my kids and I would go when we are stressed and need a place to go hide and get away. Just be us and happy live the way there are bathrooms and a park with swings next to the eating area. So you can be close to the kids if needed!

Clean area for camping, the kids love the park and trails. Restrooms available. Large raised area to set up the tent, ground is easy to stake. The lake has a wooden walkway for fishing and photos. Walk the trails during the summer, its much cooler under the trees and more photogenic.

Lake Ashby was really nice, well maintained board walks, nature trails, restrooms and a playground. I usually see someone fishing there so most likely a good fishing spot but I dont know for sure.

Nice trails and Boardwalk. Little unclear as to whats where, but small enough to not get lost.

A great little park with a play ground, pavilions, grills and clean restrooms available. There are several nice tent camping sites and lovely trails that even the newest and littlest hikers can manage. The lake is easily accessible from the park and offers beautiful scenery with good fishing. There is also a boat ramp near by.

Lake Ashby park is a great place to take the family. There is a nice park and peaceful trails! Its usually a quite place, Ive personally never seen more than 2 cars out there.

Very nice, is a hidden treasure, so quiet, and beautiful, .....you must go!

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this park! Its so serene and quiet and theres never alot of people there. Perfect place to go cookout with the kids and take a little nature walk on the boardwalk.

Beautiful! So natural & untouched. Clean. I went there with my church for a picnic. Can accommodate a large group. Nice sand bottomed playground for the little ones.

We love Lake Ashby Park. Their surroundings is beautiful and peaceful. Real Wild Wild Life alligators snakes poisonous and other a great place to visit.

Unique park with lakes, trails, swamps, camping, hiking and more.Enjoyed helping with a Cubscout crossover ceremony one evening.On another day went hiking for geocache. Several very tricky finds.Fishing was good, but dont go for a swim, tpo many alligators in the area.

Enjoyed walking the boardwalk at the park today. I made it all the way around 6 weeks today after a knee replacement. Not another soul there. Was quite enjoyable.

The kids had a blast! Great playground and swings. Super clean, well-stocked bathrooms. Updated hours and tidy picnic area. A great place for the family.

Great views of Lake Ashby, hiking trails through the woods, a boardwalk through the woods and over a section of the lake that is approximately ½ mile loop. They rent camp sites and have a great picnic area along with a playground for the kids.

Nice park! Kept up well and good camp sites. A short walk to Lake Ashby to do some fishing.

We went to lk Ashby on Sunday 10/8/17 to find it closed. Nothing on their web site about being CLOSED. I sure hope some big wig didnt buy it up..

Love this lakecaught a small gator while bass fishing on a frog lure. safely removed the hook and let him go on his way
