I am not a very big fan of the paid parking right up front but there is a free parking spot at the end of the road to the West hello trails in there are nice well-kept handicap access ramp is completely covered in sand the beach is beautiful residence truly care I saw people out there several times Ive been there cleaning up

Beach was great not too crowded. Needs better access. Be careful how and where you park. Parking enforcement very strict and will ticket you.

Beautiful water. Lots of waves for summer fun. There was a truck there selling water soda and ice cream. Easily accessible and had showers and a bathroom close by. My only complain I got sunburned.

Beautiful clean beach! A bit crowded. Allows drive on beach and beach parking. Summer camp with little surfers. Amenities include a food truck with chair, umbrella and board rentals. Life guards periodically posted along beachfront and beach patrol frequently passes. I avoid busiest times but it is a great place to enjoy NSB.

Pretty park. The western parking lot is tiny but free.

Nice location, but $20.00 to park...wow...so just down the street maybe 75 feet, free parking on Saphire...free...then walk to Barack to access beach now your happy

Great beach, currently not a lot of people there. There is some free parking and parking closer to the beach you can pay for.Showers and bathrooms.

Life guards won’t let you swim during a storm but I’m not dropping a star. Sometimes tides come up high. Make sure you get your NSB parking pass with a vehicle like a truck or a jeep. Nice place to relax. Would recommend.

Condos right on the Beach. Great works display by patrons. If youre looking for better sand go to Dunes Park 13 mins into town where all the locally owned shops and restaurants are.

Food was good and people were friendly but service was slow.

I almost didnt want to review this spot because I dont want to draw more attention to an already popular spot. I think we can all agree that the worst part about going to the beach is finding for parking and then having to pay $20 for it. While you have to pay to park in the park there is free parking right next to it where you can park right off the street but still have the convenience of the bathrooms, shower, and boardwalk right onto the beach. This is my go to spot whenever I go to New Smyrna. Its also not that far off from Flagler street where you can find shops and dining.

Love the white soft sand here. I gave 1 star less for all the trucks driving through this beach. If you come with children you have to watch them constantly!There is a paid parking ($20) right next to the beach. Public restrooms available here as well.

Great location for parking, less crowded and hardly 100 mts walk to the beech.

Soft sand, warm water, pretty views. Just make sure to look both ways for vehicles when going from your towel to the water!

Its a very clean beach . No animals allowed. Free parking in walking distance. Only drawback is that there are vehicles allowed.Id recommend it to anyone .

Stalls/picnic area in the back would need the bushes cut down a bit to allow more view of the area.

We roamed around a little before we found the parking lot. Its very little but free. Its the off season today so we were the only car. There is a super nice paved path through the palms and trees. All shaded.There is a life guard tower but it was after hours. Nice family beach away from the hotels and bustle. Recommend.

It was fun times at the beach. Walking when the sun was setting. Found little crabs and fish all over.

Free street parking with a short walk to the beach and there are outside showers on the way so you can rinse off before getting back in the car.

Very relaxing, clean area. Born and raised here and it has always been my favorite place to walk.

Hidden jewel. 1 bathroom for men and 1 for women. Shower to wash off. Bike racks but parking is only about 20 spaces. $20 per car from 8-5. After Memorial Day there is a life guard on duty. Be mindful there is a huge pipe coming out of the water from oil drilling. No smells just construction guys working but a great spot. There is a hidden boardwalk that takes u to a picnic pavilion area. No power but it is covered. if u stand up u can see the beach. On the street right Behind the parking lot there is free parking. Comes in handy when the tide is high and the lot is full and they stop cars from going on the beach. You will also find quite a few local surfers at this location.

We saw 2 gopher tortoises, dolphins, a live sand dollar, a fairly large clam, and dug up a snail! This family friendly beach park has easy access, restrooms, and is a great spot to hang out for the day.

Very soft white sand. The beach water is very clear and it has shallow entrance thats perfect for younger kids. Cars are allowed to drive in and park on the beach, they drive super slow and very watchful of beach goers. The park offers a pathway and public parking to enter the beach. A great place to relax with the family and friends!

This is my beach of choice... my beach town of choice. My family and I have been going to this beach for 16 years and that will never change. I absolutely love the community and its charm.

Last time my friend came around a few years back, there were accessible grills and free parking. Now, when he led us there, no grills or free parking in sight. Its a nice spot of New Smyrna though, if you can walk your stuff from outside parking to the beach. $20 for on shore parking by the way. No clue about the parking lot because I didnt need it.

Beautiful place to visit for beach bunnys and sharkmen. Its a little tough to find parking but, not impossible. Might be a great place to move to because of all the local benefits.

The fee to park in the small parking lot is $10 for the day. We ended up parking (along with many other vehicles) in the grassy area and side of road 1/2 a block west. For a Saturday late afternoon it wasnt too busy. The public restrooms have men & women sections with a single toilet for each. It is just a cinder block structure with minimal air flow so be prepared on hot days! Decent public restroom overall. Walkway from parking lot to the beach is a nice short distance and there is a shower area for rinsing off. Please note, the walkway ends in two directions: stairs and a ramp. As of 10/5/19, the bottom of the ramp was dune-ish in that it would be very difficult to take a wagon or wheeled item through there to the beach. We ended up carrying our wagon down the stairs. Lifeguard was on duty and sat directly in front of the walkway down by the beach side. This area allows vehicles to drive on the beach, so be prepared if you have small children. Vehicles drive between typical sitting areas and the beach. Always had to be on the lookout for passing vehicles from water to towel/chair. Overall a great spot to relax and swim!

Limited parking spots that will disappear in the weekend. You can also park in the sand behind the parking lot or just take your car onto the beach itself. Powdery sand and big waves for Florida.

I love coming to this spot. Theres places where you can pay to park close to the bathrooms and showers or if you dont mind a little walk there are some free spots around the corner.. just gotta get there early, they go fast. Sadly tho you cant bring your dogs on the beach at that spot.

Bathroom was rather dirty but its a public restroom at a parking lot for the beach... Expected.... Parking is still limited but the alternative is to build more so no thanks Ill pass and walk further to the boardwalk and down the steps.... Which by the way should get a much needed overhaul considering what they charge for parking if you dont have a parking permit.

Had a lot of fun at this beach. The walk from the free parking to the beach is nice if you go through the path instead of just going down the street. There is a wheelchair ramp to get down to the beach but it is filled with sand and would not be usable by a wheelchair.

This was a very nice Beach not too many beaches you can drive and park on. Very nice Beach Ice Cream Man chair rentals umbrella rentals lots of places to eat nearby lots of good views we had a great time would definitely come back next time Im in the area many thumbs up five stars keep up the great work

Great place to access the beach if actually driving on the beach is not your thing. Nice bathrooms always kept clean there is a nice Pavilion area for picnicking and such. There is a nice walkover that get you across the dunes to access the beach with fresh water showers located outside just off the bathrooms. However this is paid parking I believe it is $20 a day now

So much fun! Perfect family day! Food, ice cream truck, clean sand, ok bathrooms, the lifeguards I saw werent the nicest but its whatever Haha you wont spend much time with them.

Perfectly pleasant little park. I kinda wish they would upgrade the boardwalks in the same way they did up at the dunes. A lot of the existing boards are in pretty rough shape. A facelift is overdue and would certainly be welcome.

It worked out perfectly for us because we could park our 26ft RV on the grass near the paid parking! Very close to the beach

I like this beach, wish there were bigger bathrooms, have to wait sometimes, but other than that its a nice beach! Lifeguards usually on duty and so far no sharks. (NSB is shark bite capital of world, so....)

This is such a lovely little park. The trails are well kept, there is direct access to the beach just beyond it, and the gopher tortoises are all around the area.

I like it because it has a restroom, buy why would I pay $20 to park my car here to walk to the beach when I can pay the same amount and drive on the beach?It should be a cheaper price since you have to lug your stuff in. Only time I would recommend it is if the beach is packed and you have no other place to park, and because it has the restroom and shower.Edit:7/4/18 to reflect price increase from .$10-20
