Love the paved trail. It is so nice to go with my wheelchair. The restrooms are the cleanest Ive seen at any park. There is even a paved sidewalk to the trail, it is the 2nd parking lot after the open party area
Some yellow jackets buzzing around but its a nice park with camping cabins and horseback riding
Glad to see they got rid of the fees
This is a great park but needs some help from the county. The trail after mile 3 is super rough. The playground is super old and has been falling apart for years. This park has so much potential, it simply needs a little more TLC and it would be an amazing park. Keep in mind it is wooded and in surrounded by homes so there is little to no breeze on most days so when its hot it is super hot.
Something always new to see. I have been here over 50 times, and I am always amazed at the new things I find. New trails, new playgrounds, and of course Mother Nature doing her beautiful magic. This place always brings me Peace and Tranquility.
Awesone visit great info
Great place to bike, hike, or walk.
Long trails great for biking
We love it place
My first time there and although the park is large, the trail are too short. On the plus side, there are plenty of bathrooms available. Nice place for a family picnic, but not that great when it comes to exploring.
Went to a baby shower of a friend who rented a large pavilion near the playground and close to a bathroom, so it covered all age groups. Though a sunny hot day, we were comfortable under the trees and covered pavilion. Two grills and covered trash barrel made cooking easy.
I live about 5 minutes away snd I feel incredibly grateful for having such a wonderful Nature Preserve this close. There are so many places to explore and it is a real Oasis to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. They have some very interesting bike trails and lots of wonderful trees.
Great playground! Its shaded and it is very colse to restrooms and hiking trails.
Love this park! Beautiful hidden gem. Has camping, biking, hiking, educational opportunities, widelife and more. Great park close to home. Highly recommend you visit this park by yourself or with the family!
Tranquility, peace and a beautiful surroundings of bird calls and nature.
The new playground structure is nice to have compared to the old one but there are parts to it that hold water. Its a mosquito breeding ground. Also, it needs more no smoking signs. Last weekend I was there a couple of the bday party members thought everyone enjoyed the smell of their cigarettes.
Nice park. Clean. No drug paraphernalia on the playground. Quiet.
Great place for bike riding, horse back riding and camping. Very clean and lots of area.
Great place to workout, take pictures or real nature and get some fresh air.
You will love this place
Its a great place to workout and exercise
Great park for hiking & bike trails both paved & unpaved are available to choose from. The park is pet friendly which is great. They also have cabins you can rent & camp sites. There are some play areas with playgrounds for children. The park is big, if you venture out on the longer distance unpaved trails its a good idea to use a GPS exercise tracker on your phone so you can find your way back to your car, because some trails are heavily wooded & intersect other trails its easy the first few visits on those trails to get turned around. However, those trails are gems for seeing wildlife, so worth the free tracking download & carrying a phone & water as most of the longer trails do not have the drink stations. There is a $2.00 per car entry fee for the park, well worth it & I appreciate that the ticket machine also takes debit or credit cards because I rarely carry cash. Just FYI, the machine doesnt give change so you must have exactly $2.00. I have enjoyed spending hours there with my best friend & sometimes her puppy too, exploring its beauty.
Nice trails. Like the placement of planet signs on the bike trail to indicate the relative distance of planets in our solar system. Take water. Beware of pollen right now.
Great playground and nice trails for walking. Good place to relax outdoors.
Huge park with paved and unpaved trails for hiking and biking, even mountain biking (Florida, yeah I know). Big playground.
Well taken care of. Great park staff
Excellent layout, abundant bike paths and walking trails, and a playground my 5 year old adores. Perfect after school destination for quiet relaxation in a natural setting.
