Always a pleasure to visit. I saw people fishing, kayaking, picnicking, and generally just relaxing. The main parking lot at the end of the road is small, but you can park along the road itself in some places. There is a restroom and a beach and a boardwalk. Good place to watch the sunset.

Kayaked a few of the mangrove trails and saw a ton of wildlife. Dolphin, rays, pelicans and even spotted a manatee swim under the kayak! Lived in Tarpon most of my life and never knew this area was here.

A wonderful piece of nature where you can see Dolphins & Eagles while idling from your waterfront home to the Gulf of Mexico

We absolutely love coming here to watch the sunset and the dolphins that often swim close to shore. The beach and restroom is always clean and theres a playground for kids. The boardwalk trail is really pretty, especially at the end. Thanks for not charging us to experience this little bit of tranquility

I am a local, so when I saw cars from other states, and countries here, I was glad that they enjoyed our everyday lifestyle . The sunset is amazing here. Enjoy!!!

This is a great little park for the whole family (minus pets).. With large pavilions for celebrations just a few feet from the beach and a well done playground behind, its hard to find a better place to have a Florida Style Party, anyplace else for free. Or enjoy a relaxing stroll enjoying Floridas flora and fauna, on the boardwalk that will lead you to a shaded wooden platform overlooking the Gulf Of Mexico. You can fishvas well, but if its fishing that you desire, better have the ”fam” drop you at just before be the park entrance where the boats are launched. The north banks will let you mullet and snook while the south is where the redfish lie. Just be certain to check the tide charts before you head out. If you don’t you may find yourself looking on a vast field of mud.

Its improved a lot since I was much younger. I think there are places with better views, but I think the city and county have done as much as they can in creating this place and maintaining it. I also noticed a Boy Scout wilderness trail.

Its small... Parking is 2$ and the horseshoe crabs are a nuisance. You can fish on the sides of the road before the park but you will almost always lose your hook or bait on all the debris in the water. Small hiking trail and its peaceful because not many people know about it.
