This is a fun trail system that would make any skill level feel comfortable. The hills and burns are carpeted, which is fantastic. Pretty views of the inner coastal waterway. The terrain is more varied than you would expect for the area. Its also easy to navigate, since all trails lead back to the same starting point.

Good bike run with formed runs and neat terrain beside the waterway. My first time after moving here and made it through, pretty good for and older rider. Good use of the terrain having the trails snake through the area. Will be coming back regularly as I live just a few miles away. Neat find locally after biking the Rocky Mountain trails the last twenty years.

The course is difficult to capture in pictures because of the terrain and speed you can travel while covering the terrain. However I attach a picture of the map as a CAUTION! Know the route youre taking before taking it. The course is brilliant and a lot of fun, however if you are new to tail riding then you should use the easy trails first and then progress from there. My dad and I were able to navigate all the trails except for the advanced, but wish we had more of a mountain bike tire to cut through the sand and absorb some of the more rough trails. Overall its a great place to cruise through well developed trails.

It has beautifully maintained trails with your choice of levels and lengths. I only had time to walk one loop today, but it was clearly marked and I felt safe. My only complaint would be a better map of the trails. I have very good spacial skills and can read maps easily. There was only one posted at the trailhead but it was unclear (at least to me) which one was which. Maybe a sign at each trailhead with its name that corresponds to a name on the map.

Great place for a run, hike or mountain bike ride. Trails up to around 10 miles. A lot of back and forth but enough underbrush and trees to keep it interesting. Can get a little busy bit everyone was considerate. Not all flat paths some elevation changes.

A little confusing starting out, as it seems bikes are sent in one direction, while hikers are sent in the other on the same trails. Once I got going, it started to make a bit more sense. Conditions were sandy and a bit wet, but...Myrtle Beach. In all it was a good morning ride, with a few steep drops, some groomed and carpeted berms, and not otherwise too technical. Not much in the way of amenities, but they did a good job putting lots of trail in a relatively small space. Worth toting your bike to the beach.

Trails r fairly rated. My daughter who doesnt like mountain biking really enjoyed the beginner trail. The intermediate isnt for beginners. Very well laid out. Challenges appear suddenly after a level section. Has some sand traps to keep u on your toes. Stay engaged and its a really fun ride. 3 trails to choose from.

The park was great. This was the second time we visited the park this week. Unfortunately there were several bike riders that were there with attitude and were rude to my 12 year old daughter and me along with another woman. The rider shouted at the woman and rode aggressively toward my daughter making us all feel unwelcome.

It’s a really cool trail I just wish the running and biking trails were separated better. I took my dog who absolutely loves to explore but we almost got ran over a few times. Most of the bikers respectfully pass you but some will run you off the trail. I kept thinking I was on the wrong path but I was following the runner signs. It was stressful trying to make sure I wasn’t going to get hit turning every corner.

Surprisingly fun set of mtbing trails right next to the Intracoastal Waterway. Riding everything gave me just over 8 miles. The bike trails are one direction. Runners come towards you in the other direction. This appears to be an old sand pit location. The trails run the perimeter and drop in and out of the pits, offering plenty of short climbs and lots of twisty curves. The north side of the park features trails crawling up and down a wooded hillside. The climbs are short and steep. The drops are too. The twisties are nonstop, so youll get a good workout in from having to pedal and working the curves. Definitely worth a visit. I visited in early April, so the heat and bugs werent an issue. Would be more challenging in mid-summer.

Had a nice ride on the trails. After 24 hours of hard rain, and just as long on the road driving south, I was pleasantly surprised to find the trails fairly dry. Trails are well marked and if you take a wrong turn...easy to correct. Mostly easy flow along the 7 mile loop with a few small hills both up and down. (I mostly bike in Vermont) Very enjoyable!

This is a great park with access to a road bike path and a mountain bike park called The Hulk. The Hulk makes excellent use of available space. You will often look left to see where you were just 15 minutes prior. Theres plenty features scattered throughout the park that provides a good variety.

Didnt really try the place as we were looking for a park with playground equipment (yes the beach is nearby but we wanted a break from the sand). Based on the map there are a number of trails for bikes, running, or walking. There was a port-a-potty available to use and a decent gravel parking lot. Definitely an alternative to walking on the beach to get some exercise or train for more rugged terrain.

What an awesome place to ride your mountain bike. The trail building crew has done a great job. They have add jumps, and have really improved the condition of this trail. They are making it fun for all types of riders. This trail is not just for cross country peddlers but also for those of bike riders who like to down hill ride and get both tires off the ground. And they are adding more and more jumps! Thank you

Drove up from Charleston and was quite surprised. The trails are fun and well maintained. Nice berms on the turns let you maintain good speed and help the flow. Fun punchy climbs and a few steep descents keep it interesting. Didnt have time to check out the pump track as it started storming shortly after I arrived. Trails could be marked a little more clearly. I will definitely return to ride again.

Cool intermediate/advanced one-way single-track mtn. bike trails that are too intense for old riders! My family loves to walk on these trails. There are a few to choose from. Some are easy/beginner trails all the way up to difficult trails. Most people seem to use these trails for biking like my husband and son do but I take my girls and walk these trails. Even the more difficult trails my 6 year old can handle but they do have a few difficult spots on those trails which she needs assistance walking down them since it might have a steep hill. But we love to walk these trails.

Given bionic body parts and age, I am mostly a walker now, though did 10Ks and a few marathons many years ago. HULK is a great fitness and recreation resource for both local residents and vacationers. We live nearby and my dog and I just began exploring whats there this past week. We both love it. Would like a little more information about the trails that are best for walkers/hikers. I avoid the ones marked BIKE but it seems that even some marked RUN might be a bit risky for walkers. I did discover a woodsy trail down near markers for the Florida-to-Maine Greenway that seemed well-suited for hiking. (Lot of roots in trail might make it problematic for runners.) Anyway, some specific info/suggestions for walkers would be helpful

This review should not come off cocky or anything like that, but I feel its hard for an elite athlete like myself (division 1 track and field all American) to find good places to run. For trail running, this is an amazing find while I was vacationing down at Myrtle Beach. The parking lot was under construction while I was visiting, but there were some small signs for parking along the road and a temporary entrance setup. Its not a lot of elevation per Strava (~200 ft total for the 7mi loop), but the technical terrain and tight turns really makes up for it. Everyone I saw while running the loops were friendly. Overall great park for getting in some trail miles!Only complaint: poor marking and almost no blazing. Itd also help to have some trail map signage on the course at key intersections. ;)

Looks like it would be great for mountain bike training. I didnt enjoy running here. You run on the same path as the bikers, and you really cant see each other coming around corners. I was afraid I would get hit head on by a biker riding fast downhill... Theres no way to avoid each other except one of you jump into the bushes. It is very hilly with some areas of loose dirt... I guess fine for cross country training but not a long run. Three stars bc its pretty and a good biking facility, but not a great run for me.
